Abstract

AbstractThe research was designed to analyze the teacher’s talk in a classroom interaction. It refers to how the teacher managed their time or opportunity in terms of talking in front of the classroom. It was to answer: a) how long the teacher used the English language; b) what expressions the teacher explained the material; c) and how the classroom interaction was. The researcher adapted FIAC (Flanders interaction analysis categories system) to analyze the data. The data were collected through observation, questionnaire, and interview. The findings showed that the talk was still dominated by the teacher. It was only few opportunities for the students to talk. The interaction was not based on: teacher-student interaction and student-student interaction, but teacher based interactionKeywords: teacher’s talk, classroom, interaction

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan penggunaan metode inkuiri dalam pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Mempawah Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Mempawah Timur dengan rincian sebanyak 9 orang siswa perempuan dan 9 orang siswa laki-laki. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung dan  alat pengumpul data yang digunakan untuk memperoleh informasi pada penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perencanaan pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 3,67, kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 3,96, dan motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 83,94.   Kata Kunci: motivasi belajar, metode inkuiri, IPA Abstract: This study aims to describe the use of methods of inquiry in the study of Natural Science in Class IV Elementary School 14 Mempawah Timur. The method used is descriptive method to form action research. Fourth grade students study subjects Elementary School 14 Mempawah Timur with as many details as 9 girls and 9 boys. The technique used in this study is the direct observation techniques and data collection tool that is used to obtain information on this study is the observation sheet. The results showed increased to 3,67 lesson planning, teaching ability of teachers to implement increased to 3,96 and student motivation increased by 83,94. Abstract

AbstractIn vocabulary teaching, adjective is one of the most important types of words. Most of the sentences have adjective. But many students have trouble is learning adjectives. They think the adjectives are difficult to learn and hard to remember. Second grade junior high school of Kemala Bhayangkari students have the same thinking as well. The writer used card method is teaching Kemala Bhayangkari junior high school students in teaching adjective. In order to help student get maximum result, the writer did a research. Writer gave students a test to Kemala Bhayangkari junior high school sudents to know their first condition, after that using card method to get maximum result in three times meeting. After teaching using this method, writer gave a final test to the students. At the time of pretest the result show 45 , after doing research using the card method the increased to 75 . The comparison result shows, learning outcomes using the card method improved significantly, and teaching using the card method got very well respons from student.  Keywords:  Adjectives, Card Method Teaching, Test

Abstract

Penelitian tentang Citra Wanita dalam Novel Perempuan Jogja Karya Achmad Munif bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan citra wanita dalam novel Perempuan Jogja karya Achmad Munif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Dari hasil analalis diperoleh citra fisik wanita dalam novel Perempuan Jogja Karya Achmad Munif yaitu: 1) Indri; wanita yang cantik, berusia matang. 2) Rumanti; wanita yang sangat cantik, seorang ibu dari dua anak. 3) Popi; wanita yang cantik, berusia remaja, sedangkan citra nonfisik wanita dalam novel Perempuan Jogja Karya Achmad Munif yaitu: 1) Indri; cinta kasih kepada keluarga, cerdas, berwatak keras. 2) Rumanti; cinta kasih pandai kepada suami, wanita yang sabar dan tidak egois. 3) Popi; cerdas dan enerjik, sopan dan baik hati. Kata Kunci: Citra wanita, citra fisik, citra nonfisik, novel. Abstract: Research on Women's Image of Women in Novels Jogja Achmad Munif work aims to describe the image of women in the novel work of Achmad Munif Women Jogja. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative forms of research. Analalis results obtained from the physical image of women in the novel Women Jogja work Achmad Munif namely: 1) Indri; beautiful woman, aged mature. 2) Rumanti; very beautiful woman, a mother of two children. 3) Popi; beautiful woman, aged adolescents, whereas the image of women in the novel Women nonphysical Jogja Achmad Munif work are: 1) Indri; love for family, smart, tough character. 2) Rumanti; clever love to their husbands, women who are patient and unselfish. 3) Popi; intelligent and energetic, polite and kind. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan membaca lancar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan media bergambar pada murid kelas IV SDN 16 Pakeng Bengkayang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, jenis penelitiannya tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung. Alat pengumpul data adalah lembar observasi guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak III siklus, dengan langkah-langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kemampuan murid membaca lancar pada siklus I mencapai 63%, siklus II mencapai 80%, siklus III mencapai 93% meningkat  Sub masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan dalam hal kemampuan mengenal huruf, kemampuan membaca huruf, kemampuan membaca suku kata, ke48%. Dengan menggunakan media cerita bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca lancar murid pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN 16 Pakeng Bengkayang.   Kata Kunci : Peningkatan, Kemampuan Membaca Lancar, Cerita bergambar   Abstract : The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in the ability to read fluently in Indonesian language learning using pictorial media in the fourth grade students of SDN 16 Pakeng Bengkayang . The method used is descriptive , the type of class action research . Subjects were teachers and students of 20 people . The technique used is direct observation . Data collection tool was a teacher and student observation sheet . This research was conducted as the third cycle , the steps of planning , implementation , observation , and reflection . The results obtained are the students' ability to read fluently in the first cycle of 63% , reaching 80% of the second cycle , the third cycle reaches 93 % increase Sub problem in this research is how the increase in beginning reading skills in their ability to recognize letters , the ability to read the letter , the ability read syllables , ke48 % . By using the media picture stories can improve the ability to read fluently Indonesian student learning class IV SDN 16 Pakeng Bengkayang .   Keywords : Improvement , Reading Current Capability , Picture Story

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Pada Materi Benda dan Sifat- Sifatnya dengan Menggunakan Metode Eksperimen Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 18 Matan Hilir Selatan Kabupaten Ketapang. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode eksperimen untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA tentang sifat-sifat benda di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 18 Matan Hilir Selatan Kabupaten Ketapang. Pendekatan yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subyek penelitian guru dan siswa SDN 18 Matan Hilir Selatan. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Terdapat peningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu sebesar 26,93%. (2) Penggunaan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran (IPKG 2) yaitu terjadi peningkatan sebesar 25,54%. (3) Penggunaan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, yaitu siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa 64. Meningkat di siklus II yaitu nilai rata-rata siswa 75,33. Kata Kunci : kualitas belajar, pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam, dan metode eksperimen Abstrac: Increasing Quality of Natural Sciences Learning Objects and Properties of Materials Using Its Methods Experiments Fourth Grade Students Elementary School 18 Matan Hilir Selatan Ketapang. This study aimed to describe the use of experimental methods to improve student learning outcomes in science learning about the properties of objects in the class IV Elementary School South Matan Hilir Selatan. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative research a form of classroom action research. The research subjects teachers and students of SDN 18 Matan South Downstream. The results of the study are: (1) There is increasing the ability of teachers to implement science learning using an experimental method that is equal to 26.93%. (2) The use of experimental methods to enhance the ability of teachers to implement learning which is an increase of 25.54%. (3) The use of experimental methods to improve student learning outcomes, the first cycle the average student 64. Increased in the second cycle the average value of 75.33 students. Abstract

Abstrak :Penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan metode eksperimen di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 21 Reo Behe. Tujuan penelitian iniadalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam melalui metode eksperimen. Manfaaat penelitian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan baru dan berbagai keterampilan melalui tindakan yang diberikan guru dalam penelitian tindakan. Tempat penelitian tindakan dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar negeri 21 Reo Behe dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 8 siswa,yaitu 3 orang siswa perempuan dan 5 orang siswa laki-laki. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 siklus dengan hasil akhir penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sampai siklus II secara berturut yaitu IPKG1skor rata 3,17 dan 3,55. IPKG2 yaitu skor rata-rata 3,18 dan 3,77.Dengan demikian penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatakan hasil belajar IPA kelas V sekolah dasar negeri 21 Reo Behe kecamatam Kuala Behe Kabupaten Landak. Kata kunci:Hasil belajar, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, dan metode eksperimen. Abstract : This research is increase to usufruct student studying brazes v on Natural Sciences learning with experiment method at Country Elementary School 21 Reo Behe. To the effect this research is subject to be increase student studying result brazes v on Natural Sciences study via methodics experiment. Manfaaat is this research is give new science and various skill passes through action that given by observational deep teacher action. Actions observational place be performed at country Elementary School 21 Reo Behe with observational subject is student braze v total one 8 students, which is 3 female students and 5 male students. This research is done up to 2 cycles with acquired observational end product which is student studying result on i. cycle until cycle II. ala gets to terminological which is IPKG1 score rolled out 3,17 and 3,55. IPKG IPKG which is score average 3,18 and 3,77. Thus observationaling to utilize experiment method meningkatakan can usufruct IPA'S studying brazes v country elementary school 21 Reo Behe Kecamatam Behe's confluences Porcupine Regencies. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh teori belajar Bruner pada pembelajaran matematika terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 25 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian quasi experiment design dan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV B yang berjumlah 27 orang dan kelas IV C yang berjumlah 26 orang. Hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata post-test pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh sebesar 71,88 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 57,30. Hasil perhitungan effect size data hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh sebesar 0,75 diklasifikasikan dalam kategori sedang, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teori belajar Bruner memberikan pengaruh yang sedang terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 25 Sungai Raya.   Kata Kunci: Teori Belajar Bruner, Hasil belajar Abstract: This research aims to analyze the influence of The Bruner’s Theory in learning mathematics to learning results of students in grade IV SD Negeri 25 Sungai Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, West Borneo Province. The research method that used is experiments with quasi experiment design and the research design is nonequivalent control group design. The study sample was a class IV B is 27 people and class IV C is 26 people. The results of the data analysis, the average obtained post-test in the experiment class obtained at 71.88 while the control class is 57.30. The results of the calculation of effect size data from the experimental study of students and grade class gained control of o.75 is classified in the category of being, which means that the application of the Bruner’s Theory influence being the learning results of students in the subjects of mathematics at SD Negeri 25 Sungai Raya. Abstract

Abstract This research was aimed to improve students’ speaking performance by using videoblogging to Year 11 Students of SMAK Immanuel Pontianak especially on E class inacademic year 2018/2018. It was focused to improve their fluency and accuracy by usingvideo blogging as media. The research design of this study was classroom action research.The 38 students of class XI E were participating in this research. The researcher observedthe students’ improvement in speaking by collecting data through observation checklist,field notes and speaking test. The students’ attitude towards the learning process wasgathered by observation checklist and field note. The data of speaking was obtained byspeaking test which was assessed through scoring rubric. Based on the data, the studentsshowed improvement in the process of speaking. In the cycle I, they were already great inpresenting the materials but some of the students were still making some pauses and wrongpronounciation. The researcher conducted the cycle II which resulted that, the studentscould speak more fluently and accurately by gathering and listening the information fromthe media. The students also got motivation to speak during the teaching and learningactivity. From all of the result, it can be inferred that video blogging improve students’speaking performance.. Abstract

AbstractThis research aim to knowing and describe the spatial ability of students based on understanding the concept of a flat field at MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak. The research method used descriptive method with survey. The subject in this research were 36 students 9th grade of MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak which is divided into three levels that are concept understanding of high, medium, and low levels. The result of the data analysis showed that the spatial ability of students based on understanding the concept of a flat field has their respective dominance. Some have the same level of dominance and some have different levels of dominance, because the ability of each level is different. The spatial ability of students based on understanding the concept of a flat field high-level on the dominant element visualization and orientation spatial. The spatial ability of students based on understanding the concept of a flat field medium-level on the dominant element visualization and orientation spatial. The spatial abilities of students based on the two dimensional concept understanding low-level on the dominant element visualization.Keywords: Spatial Ability, Concept Understanding, Flat Field
