Abstract

Pelaksanaan Supervisi Akademik Oleh Kepala Sekolah Dalam Upaya Pembinaan Profesionalisme Guru Di SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah dalam upaya pembinaan profesionalisme guru di SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak. Penelitian bersifat kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Hasil penelitian ditemukan: 1) Perencanaan, (a) dalam melakukan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah selalu menggunakan instrument pengamatan, (b) belum semua guru mengetahui tentang jadwal dan tujuan supervisi akademik, (c) penggunaan strategi/metode sangat bervariasi dan, (d) sasaran belum terarah; 2) pelaksanaan supervisi akademik sering menggunakan teknik yang bersifat individual; 3) tindaklanjut yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah lebih banyak melalui pembinaan kelompok. Kata Kunci:supervisi akademik, kepala sekolah, profesionalisme guru. Abstract: The Implementation of Academic Supervision by the Headmaster in Building the Professionalism of the Teachers in SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak. This research aims at revealing the management of the academic supervision by the headmaster in order to develop the professionalism of the teachers in SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak. This is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The findings revealed that: 1) the planning, (a) in giving the academic supervision, the headmaster always used the observation instrument, (b) not all the teachers knew about the schedule and purpose of the academic supervision, (c) various strategies/methods were used, and (d) the goal was not yet defined; 2) the implementation of the academic supervision often used the individual approach; 3) the follow-ups conducted by the headmaster were mostly through the group counseling. Abstract

Abstract: Simple descriptive survey method was conducted to investigate the forms of students misconceptions about the symbol of quantities and units of physics and physics formulas among grade VII the Khatulistiwa Jungkat Junior Secondary School students. The multiple choices, matching and essay tests were adminitrated to 38 students. It is indicated that 68,35% of the students have misconception on writing the symbols of quantities, 16,23% of the students have misconception on writing the symbols of units. In addition, there are 86% of the students who are not able to write the correct equation, 40% of the students do the test unsystematically, and there are 36% who are can not to implement the units correctly. Keywords: Description, Misconception, Symbol, Physics Formulas Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bentuk-bentuk miskonsepsi siswa SMP Khatulistiwa Jungkat tentang lambang besaran dan satuan serta rumus-rumus fisika kelas VII dengan metode survai deskriptif sederhana. Seluruh siswa kelas VII A dan VII B menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini, tetapi hanya 38 dari 44 siswa yang dapat ikut berpartisipasi. Alat pengumpul data tes objektif pilihan ganda dan menjodohkan serta tes essay. Ditemukan persentase siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dalam menuliskan lambang besaran (68,35 %), menuliskan lambang satuan (16,23 %). Disamping itu, juga ditemukan 86 % siswa tidak dapat menuliskan persamaan matematis fisika yang betul, 40% kurang sistematis dalam menyelesaikan soal, dan ada 36 % yang tidak dapat menerapkan satuan dengan betul. Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is "Social Interaction in the Form of Cooperation and Competition of Madurese and Malay Ethnic Islamic students at Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School in Pontianak". The general problem in this research is "how social interaction in the form of cooperation and competition between Madurese and Malay ethnic Islamic students at Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School Pontianak" with sub-problems as follow; How is the social interaction in the form of Madurese and Malay ethnic Islamic students’ cooperation at Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School in Pontianak; How is the social interaction in the form of competition between Madurese and Malay Islamic students at Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School in Pontianak. The method of this research is qualitative research in descriptive form. The data collection tools were observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation studies. The results of the study showed; social interaction in the form of cooperation between Madurese and Malay ethnic Islamic students has not gone well and properly yet; Social interaction in the form of competition between Madurese and Malay Islamic students in Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School has been well established and fierce. Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik menggunakan metode inkuiri pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam kelas VI di SDN 08 Kubu. Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA kelas VI di SDN 08 Kubu. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, sifat penelitian yaitu bersifat kolaboratif dan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Pada siklus 1 terjadi peningkatan pada aktivitas fisik dari 64,28% menjadi 85,72% pada siklus II. Aktivitas mental dari 52,38% pada siklus 1 menjadi 76,19% pada siklus II. Dan aktivitas emosional dari 42,85% pada siklus I menjadi 71,43% pada siklus II. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri pada pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas VI SDN 08 Kubu. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas belajar, Metode inkuiri, Pembelajaran IPA Abstack: increase learning activities using the inquiry method in teaching sixth grade at SDN 08 Kubu. General purpose of this research is to improve the learners learning activities in the learning science sixth grade at SDN 08 Kubu. Methods used in this study is descriptive, collaborative ture of the research and type of research that is class action research. On firs cycle occurs in physical activity from 64,28% to 85,72% in cycle two. Mental activity of 52,38% at 76,19% cycle one to cycle two. And emosional activity from 42,85% to 71, 43% in two cycle. From these results it can be concluded that by using the method of inquiry in science teaching can enhace learning activities sixth grade students of SDN 08 Kubu. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian tentang pengaruh penggunaan metode role playing terhadap hasil pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan kelas V di SDN 15 Sui Raya bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan seberapa besar pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan metode role playing terhadap hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Sui Raya. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Nilai rata-rata pre-test siswa sebelum diterapkannya pembelajaran metode role playing adalah 57,21 dan rata-rata post-test siswa adalah 82,3. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis varians pada taraf 5 % (0,05) diperoleh F hitung 31,99 dan untuk F tabel 4,00, sehingga F hitung > F tabel atau 31,99 > 4,00 berarti signifikan. Dari perhitungan effect size (ES), diperoleh 0,96 (kriteria tinggi). Maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan metode role playing terhadap hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 15 Sui Raya.   Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Role Playing, Hasil Pembelajaran Abstract: Research on the influence of the use of the method of role playing on learning outcomes Civics class fifth in Grade of Elementary School 15 Sui Raya aims to describe how much of a significant influence between the use of role playing method of the class fifth student learning outcomes Grade of Elementary School 15 Sui Raya. This research is a form of quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. The average value of students' pre-test prior to the application of the learning methods of role playing is 57.21 and the average post-test students was 82.3. The results of hypothesis testing using analysis of variance at 5% level (0.05) was obtained for the calculated F count 31.99 and F table 4.00, so the F count > F table or 31.99 > 4.00 means significant. From the calculation of effect size (ES), obtained 0.96 (high criterion). So we can conclude there is a significant relationship between the use of a method of role playing on learning outcomes fifth grade students in Grade of Elementary Schools 15 Sui Raya.   Keywords: The influence, Role Playing, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1) Perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan problem based learning (PBL) dan pembelajaran langsung, (2) Perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik dikaji dari motivasi belajar, (3) Interksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar, (4) Pengaruh pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PBL. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan factorial design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 7 Pontianak dengan sampel penelitian yaitu VIIIF dan VIIIC. Analisis yang digunakan adalah anava dua jalan. Hasil analisis  menunjukan: (1) kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa yang diberi pengajaran dengan model PBL lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajran Langsung; (2) kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan motivasi belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa dengan motivasi belajar rendah; (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar; (4) Pengguruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik tergolong tinggi dengan nilai effect size 0,837.   Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik, motivasi belajar matematika Abstract: This research have purpose to know and analysis about (1) differences the ability of students to solve the problem of mathematic use Problem based learning  (PBL) and direct instruction, (2) Differences the ability of students to solve the problem of math looked from student motivation in math, (3) The interaction between learning method and learning motivation, (4) the influence of learning process by using PBL.  The method used in this research is experimental with factorial design. The population in this research are students in grade VIII MPN 7 Pontianak. The sample is students in grade VIIIF and VIIIC. The analysis used two way anova. The result shows: (1) the ability of students to solve the math problem with PBL model is high rather than students studying by used direct instruction; (2) The ability of students to solve the problem with high motivation is good rather than students with low motivation; (3) there are interaction between learning method and learning motivation; (4) The influence of PBL model to solve problem mathematics is high with score effect size 0,837. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi koloid di kelas XI IPA SMAN  1 Paloh. Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subjek siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Paloh. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar.Hasil validasi instrumen tergolong tinggi. Tindakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan,  tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan  aktivitas siswa yaitu dari siklus I  (58,44%)  ke siklus II (65,81%)  dan telah mencapai indikator aktivitas ≥ 60% dan pada hasil belajar siswa terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I (69,51%) ke siklus II (82,27%) dan mencapai indikator ketuntasan hasil belajar yaitu ≥ 75 %. Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, co-op co-op, hasil belajar, koloid. Abstract: The aims of this study was to improve the activities and result of the study of the students in XI IPA SMAN 1 Paloh on the colloid material.  This study used the classroom action research with subject  is students of XI IPA SMAN 1 Paloh.  This study used observation  sheet and test of the learning process as instrument.  The validation of this instrument was very high.  This study used two cycles and every cycle consisted of four stage that is planning; acting, observing, and reflecting.  The result showed that the activity of students improved from cycles I (58,44%) to cycles II (65,81)  and it had passed the indicator of the activity was  ≥ 60% and the result of the learning process of students improved from cycle I (69,51%) to cycles II (82,27%) and  the standard of the result was ≥ 75%. Abstract

 AbstractCorpus linguistics is the study of language data on a large scale, computerization data analysis of extensive collections of written texts. This study is a academic words in abstract of undergraduate thesis of English Language Education Study Program, Teacher Training Facutly, Tanjungpura University, submitted in year 2012-2016, using AntConc Program. There are six (6) research questions raise in this study; (1) the categories of POS tagset; (2) the most dominant POS tagset; (3) The most dominant academic word; (4) the role of AWL in students’ abstract; (5) the most dominant AWL sublist; and (6) the comparison between AWL and non-AWL. The findings are; (1) there are 31 types of Tree Tagger tagset and Brown Corpus Tagset; 11710 tokens (18,2%) for Noun, 8198 tokens (12,8%) for Determiners, 5289 tokens (8,2%) for Preposition, 4075 tokens (7,3%) for Verb, 2410 tokens (3,7%) for Adjective, 809 tokens (1,3%) for Conjunction, 527 tokens (0,85%) for adverb, 2 tokens (0,003%) for Interjection; (2) NN as the most frequent tagset, (3) the most frequent academic word is Research, (4) only 0,00522% or 183 types of academic words used by undergraduate students, (5) sublist 1 as the most frequent sublist used, and (6) there are 1974 non-academic words used. There are 208 corpora which are gathered from UP4I since 2012-2016.This research is useful for English Language teacher in examine their students’ writing easily, especially focus on concordance entirely and lexical study. It leads to more principled classroom materials and activities and lead students to have best understanding on language analysis.Keywords: Corpus linguistics, Lexical study, AWL

Abstract

AbstractThis study used descriptive method in the form of qualitative. The approach used in this study was the sociology of literature with documentary data collecting techniques.  Data collection tool was the researcher as key instruments assisted with writing and research instruments.  The data is from Ahmad Fuadi's Anak Rantau novel.  The data in this study are sentences. The testing validity techniques were observation persistence, tringulation and adequacy of references. Ahmad Ridi's Novel Anak Rantau's theme is a life struggle that tells about revenge, injury, and teaches the meaning of forgiving and forgetting.  Background to the time of the 1990s until 2002. Setting the place is in Padang.  The results showed that there are three moral values of the main characters, namely (1) the relationship between humans and humans (affection, respect) (2) the relationship between humans and god (worship) (3) the relationship between human life and god (love of nature).  The learning implementation plan of the results of this study combined with Indonesian language learning in class XII of high school/equivalent in the 2013 curriculum with KD 3.3 analyzing the text of the novel both oral and written, 4.4 editing text in novel  according to the structure and text rules both orally and in writing.Keywords: Moral values, novels, sociology of literature.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) berbantuan flashcard terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi invertebrata kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah quasy experimental design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitiannya yaitu kelas XG sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XF sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 16,38, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah 14,88. Hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<Ztabel yaitu -2,52˂-1,96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS berbantuan flashcard dengan yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional berbantuan powerpoint. Nilai Effect Size diperoleh sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori sedang, memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,04%. Kata kunci: Model kooperatif tipe TSTS, hasil belajar, sub materi invertebrata Abstract: This research aims to find out the effect of two stay two stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model assisted a flashcard on the students’ learning outcomes in sub-material of Invertebrata in the Tenth Grade of SMAN 1 Sungai Raya. This research was quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Research samples were class X G as the experimental class and X F as the control class, with a sampling technique of intact group. The instrument used was the multiple choice test with a total of 20 questions. The average student learning outcome in the experimental class was 16,38, while the control class is 14,88. The results of the U Mann-Whitney test analysis showed that Zcount<-Ztable namely -2,52 ˂-1,96, meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcome of students taught using TSTS cooperative learning model assisted a flashcard and the learning outcomes of students taught using a conventional learning model with a power point presentation.
