Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain how the Entikong PLBN affected social change in the Entikong Village community. This exploration strategy utilizes a subjective and enlightening methodology. Information assortment strategies utilized are perception, meetings, and documentation. The heads of Sontas Hamlet, Entikong, Entikong Tapang, and Entikong Benuan were the four informants in this study. The consequences of this study demonstrate that there have been changes in the security framework in the at various times with the presence of the Entikong PLBN. Community activities are becoming more smoothly as a result of social change, with both visiting, seeking treatment, shopping, and selling crops to neighboring countries, community integration is increasing, the quality of individuals or communities is getting better, people's mobility is getting faster, people's mindset is getting wider and develop. The negative impact of social change is that social conflict between communities has not yet been found, and environmental pollution occurs around the Entikong PLBN area caused by the community or visitors who litter.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to find out how the creativity and income of the community in processing deep coconut. This research was conducted in Sungai Besar Village, Batu Ampar District, Kubu Raya Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of interviews and observations with the number of informants 6 people. The results showed that; (1) Coconut processing creativity consists of; copra, crested coconut, shell charcoal, coconut oil and soy sauce. (2) The process in coconut processing consists of; climbing coconuts, collecting coconuts, removing coconuts from the garden, stripping coconut husks, and cutting coconuts. (3) Coconut processing income consists of; sales of copra, crested coconut and shell charcoal, while coconut oil and soy sauce are for personal consumption only. The products of coconut processing are copra, crested coconut and shell charcoal which are produced to be sold to earn income for their own welfare. Coconut oil and soy sauce are not for sale, because other farmers can also produce their own, so coconut oil and soy sauce are for individual consumption only.Keywords: Income, Coconut Farming, Copra

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is to find out the code-mixing of dialoguesbetween characters in the novel Antarbintang Distance. The theory used in thisresearch is the form of code mixing, the type of code mixing and the function ofcode mixing. The method used is descriptive method. The form of research isqualitative research. The data collection technique is a documentary studytechnique. The results of data analysis contained 130 forms of code mixing,which were divided into 62 forms of words, 33 forms of phrases, 11 forms ofbaster, 8 forms of idioms and 16 forms of clauses. There are 118 types of codemixing, which are divided into 112 types outward and 6 types inward. There are117 code mixing functions which are divided into 43 affirming or convincingfunctions, 12 familiarizing functions, 1 respecting function, 9 prestige enhancingfunctions, 47 topic adjustment functions and 5 feeling functions. This researchhas a relationship with Indonesian Language Subjects in SMP class IXCurriculum 2013 which is recommended as a reference for exemplum textmaterials.Keywords: Sociolinguistics, Code Mixing, Novel

Abstract

The advancements in technology in the 21st century have brought significant changes to various aspects of life. The presence of the internet, artificial intelligence, and other digital technologies has facilitated access to information, communication, and innovation. However, these advancements also pose new challenges, particularly in shaping the character of the younger generation with moral integrity. Building a strong character based on moral values amid the rapid flow of technology is crucial to ensure that future generations are not only intellectually capable but also possess good ethics. Technology in the 21st century has created a fast-paced, globally connected world. Developments such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the digital revolution have transformed the way we live, work, and interact. In this era, the challenges faced by the education sector extend beyond enhancing academic competencies; they also involve how to cultivate a morally upright character in the youth amid the currents of digital globalization. This article examines the importance of character education in fostering a generation with strong moral and ethical values, despite living in an environment saturated with technological advancements. Through a literature analysis and examples of character education implementation in various institutions, this article demonstrates that the success of character formation relies heavily on an integrated approach involving technology, formal education, and the roles of family and society. In conclusion, technology can serve as an effective tool to support character education if utilized wisely and with appropriate guidance. Relevant and contextual character education in the 21st century is essential for creating a generation that is not only intelligent but also possesses integrity and strong ethical values.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze student learning obstacles from the results oferrors made by students in solving problems on the circle subjeck matter. Thisresearch method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this studywere written tests and interviews. The subjects of this study were grade VIII studentsSMPN 13 Pontianak in year 2020/2021. The results showed that the errors thatoccurred were conceptual, procedural and technical errors. And there are sixlearning obstacles found, namely learning obstacle type 1 is learning in sketchingcircles, type 2 learning obstacle is learning obstacles in using rules or formulascorrectly, type 3 learning obstacle is learning obstacle in writing rules or formulaswith appropriate, type 4 learning obstacle is learning obstacle in problem solvingsystematics, type 5 learning obstacle is learning obstacle in understanding questionsand type 6 learning obstacle is learning obstacle in writing degree symbols on thevalue of an angle. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess how the Covid-19 epidemic has affected stationery and copying shops in Sepakat 2 (Pontianak city). Case studies, a kind of qualitative research, are used in this investigation. Researchers in this research gathered information from ATK and photocopying business players in Sepakat 2 (Pontianak city region) via in-person observation, interviews, and document analysis. Four representatives from ATK and Photocopy participated as interviewees for this research. Reducing data, presenting data, and generating conclusions are all parts of data analysis. Source triangulation for testing validity. Based on the data shown here, it seems that the ATK and Photocopy companies experienced a drop in demand for their products and services, a reduction in operating hours, and a loss of revenue as a consequence of the Covid-19 epidemic. There was a significant drop in revenue (turnover) for stationery and copying shops during the Covid-19 epidemic, and although business has picked up again since then, it still isn't back to pre-pandemic levels.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out the students' learning activeness in the use of LKS media in the learning process. Besides, to increase the motivation of teachers' and to know the students' learning outcomes by using LKS learning media in the process of learning sociology subjects in grade XII IIS. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive method. Data sources in this study are divided into 2 data sources, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources, primary data sources are teachers and students, secondary data sources are data taken from literature and documents in schools. For the data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The results of this study show that in this pandemic, the use of LKS media to be applied to the teaching and learning process online. Because LKS is considered quite effective because the content of the LKS itself is a summary of the material that has included all the brief and clear understandings. With the use of LKS media, participants are more active and can be motivated to learn independently. And do not forget the role of teachers and parents to participate in helping to build the motivation of learners to be able to maintain the spirit of learning even though learning online. Abstract

This research was conducted by analyzing the terminology in the Jadi Mali procession in the Dayak Kerabat Menyapat community with the aim of describing an inventory of terminology in the Jadi Mali procession in the Dayak Kerabat Penyepat community, describing the form of lingual units of terminology in the Jadi Mali procession in the Dayak Kerabat Penyapat community, describing the meaning of the term in the Jadi Mali procession for the Dayak Kerabat Penyapat community, and describes the plan for implementing the terminology in the Jadi Mali procession for the Dayak Kerabat Penyapat community. The method used is a descriptive method and a form of qualitative research. The data source for this research is the Dayak Kerabat Penyepat language which is used in the customs of the Dayak Kerabat Menyapa community. The data of this research are words and phrases. The technique used is literature study, face-to-face conversation, and note-taking. Data collection tools are documents, questionnaires, and note sheets. Based on the analysis conducted, there are 90 terminology in the Jadi Mali procession consisting of words (monomorphemic, polymorphemic, affixation, and compound words) and phrases. The form of learning implementation contained in the RPP is adjusted to the 2013 curriculum for grade VII junior high school in odd semesters

Abstract

Abstrak This research was aimed to improve the students’ learning outcomes on the Vibration material using Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model. This is pre-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design, conducted at SMPN 8 Pontianak involving 28 students in class VIII C. The data were obtained using a test in the form of ten multiple-choice and five essays. Based on the Wilcoxon test using SPSS version 22, obtained Sig 2-tailed by 0.000 < 0.05; Thus, Ha was accepted. Therefore, it was concluded that there was a significant difference in the learning outcomes before and after the selected model was applied. The average scores obtained after applying NHT was 77.76, with the effect size by 1.86 (categorized high). In conclusion, the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model is effective to use in improving students’ learning outcomes in vibration material. Abstract

This study aims to determine community preparedness for flood disasters in Mempawah Hilir District, Mempawah Regency. The research method used is quantitative research with survey methods. The source of the data for this research is the people of Mempawah Hilir District who were affected by the flood disaster and the data is the result of field observations along with the distribution of questionnaires to flood-affected communities in Mempawah Hilir District and the total sample calculation results are 99 respondents. The results showed that Mempawah Hilir District has an area with a low level of vulnerability of 12,161.33 Ha, a vulnerable category area has an area of 8,138.26 Ha, and an area with a very vulnerable category has an area of 967.70 Ha. Meanwhile, the preparedness of the people of the Mempawah Hilir sub-district is in the unprepared category with an index value of 55. The calculation is obtained by measuring each preparedness parameter. The knowledge parameter having preparedness with a very ready category with an index of 31, the attitude parameter having an unprepared readiness index with an index of 10, the emergency response parameter having an unprepared preparedness with an index of 30, the early warning parameter having an unprepared preparedness with an index of 8, and the mobilization parameter. the resource has unprepared readiness with index 4.
