AbstrackThis study intends to decide and depict understudies' decisive reasoning abilities as faras orientation in light of FRISCO in learning mathematics, especially the functionmaterial. The technique utilized in this study is descriptive.The examination subjects inthis review were eighth-grade understudies of SMP Kemala Bhayangkari who werechosen because of purposive sampling.Gathering information for this concentratedthrough tests and interviews.From the aftereffects of the review, it was observed thatmale understudies and female understudies had the option to write down what they knewand asked, but female students wrote down information that wasn’t needed.Malestudents give reasons for each step quickly, concisely, logically, and relevant, but errorsstill often occur so that the conclusions made are inaccurate, while female students givereasons for each step in a detailed and careful systematic manner so they can describeconclusions correctly. Male understudies and female understudies can utilize all thedata on the inquiries. Male understudies tend not to know about other numerical ideasin the issue.Male understudies and female understudies can explain the meaning of thesymbols they used. This research aims to analyze the structure and the language rules of procedure texts by students of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak in Indonesian language learning. The method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative research form. The data collection technique used was documentary study. The data source of this research is the procedure text of the work of class VII D students totaling 35 at SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak in the 2023/2024 school year. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research analysis from the structure aspect as many as 28 students made the essay got an assessment score of 50 with very good assessment criteria, 7 students got an assessment score of 40 with good assessment criteria, from the aspect of language rules as many as 8 students made the essay got an assessment score of 60 with very good assessment criteria, 15 students got an assessment score of 50 with very good assessment criteria, 9 students got an assessment score of 40 with good assessment criteria, 2 students got an assessment score of 30 with sufficient assessment criteria, 1 student got an assessment score of 10 with very poor assessment criteria.

AbtractThis Research is motivated by an interest in the existing culture of the Sungai Raya Malay community so that it can be developed in a study. The problem discussed in this study is the vocabulary contained in the betangas tradition of the Sungai Raya Malay community. The purpose of this study was to analyze the lexical meaning, cultural meaning, and fuction of the vocabulary contained in the term in the betangas tradition. This research uses descriptive method in the form of qualitative. The data sources in this study are native speakers of the Sambas Malay Language who understand the implementation of the betangas tradition. The data in this study are vocabulary in betangas tradition related to the presentation of the term of the betangas tradition lexical meaning and forms of terminology, cultural meaning, and vocabulary fuctions founds in the malay community in Sungai Raya. The technique used in data collection is using direct, interview and indirect technique, direct observation and recording. Furthermore, the tools for data collection were using a recording device, a list of question and writing instrumentsto record the data. Based on the results of the study, obtained 59 terms in the betangas tradition. The form of term found in the betangas tradition is monomorphemic form of 30 data which is divided into 23 data noun, 4 data adjectives, and 3 data verb. Then in polymorphemic form there are 8 data which are divided into 6 data prefix affxation anda 2 data suffix affixation. Finally, the phrase from caontains 21 data. Furthermore, based on the type of meaning contained in the betangas tradition, 9 term have two meanings, namely lexical meaning and ciltural meaning, while for the other 50 terms only have lexical meaning. This study aims to identify profiles of students' problem-solving abilities and describe the difficulty of solving problems in straight motion material at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. This research uses a descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 35 students who had studied straight motion material. The data collection instrument used in this study was a solving ability test consisting of 4 essay questions. The results of the study concluded that the problem solving ability of students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya was still relatively low with a percentage of 38.6%. The results of data analysis are interpreted to mean that 67.2% are categorized as having difficulties. Based on the results of the interviews, students experienced difficulties at stage 1 because they were not used to describing situations in questions, usually directly writing down the quantities that were known and asked. At stage 2 students do not understand the problem so not all quantities are written down. In stage 3, students are confused about determining the formula. For stage 4, students are lacking in arithmetic operations. Then, at the 5th stage. students are not accustomed to making conclusions in working on problems.

This research was aimed to describe the strategies for improving debating skills. The subject of this research were the English debate competition participant at EESP of Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. This research used a case study approach and data were collected from interviews and related documents including student certificate in debate. In this research, the researcher focused on two aspects that contribute to student strategies in debating. The first aspect was about the strategies for matter. Referring to the first aspect the results are the strategies to define the motion, implement AREL (Assertion, Reasoning, Evidence, and Link-back), create the theme line, find the weak point of argument from opponent teams and do the POI. The second aspect was about the strategies for manner. Referring to the second aspect the results are the strategies to control the voice, body language, and language while deliver the speech.

The study aims to find out the class X Science awareness ofstudents at school looked after the land of 3 Pontianak. Theresearch method used was a quantitative method with anaerialized interrogation jeris. The research site was at statehigh school 3 Potianak. The data decoding technique that’sdone in research is observation, indirect communication, anddocumentation, while the tools used in researcg wereobservation guides, questionnaire, and documentary studies.The data analysis techniques used in the study are analysis ofdescriptive data using the likert scale, validity test, religioustest, normality test, homophobic test and linearial test andsimple linear regressions test, paired sample t-test test andeffect size. The research data source is the X class the x’s arehistory awareness sheets distributed in experiment and controlclasses. The results of this study show increased student historyawareness from before media use 55.56% and after media useincreased to 67.5%. and based of the testing of t-test samples,the impact of the interaktif media use on which t-count > t-tablefor 3,857 > 1,725 with dk 21-1=20 and a significant degree (a)=5% and the level of impact the used of interative videolearning media is 84% of the higher levels in cohen’s tables.

AbstractThis study discusses strategies to improve the ability of librarians in serving users at the IAIN Pontianak Library. The purpose of the study was to determine the library strategy of IAIN Pontianak to improve the ability of librarians to serve users, types of services and library constraints in implementing strategies to improve the ability of librarians. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data sources of this research are the head of the library, librarians, and users. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the strategy carried out by the IAIN Pontianak library was to include librarians and library staff in librarianship training, become members of librarian organizations at both the provincial and national librarianship organizations and improve literacy education. The types of services provided by librarians to users are the behavior of librarians towards users to improve services, types of services that are not yet available, types of services that are most influential and how to deal with users who complain about services. The obstacles faced are the basic abilities of various librarians, limited funds, and the librarians have not mastered the basic applications of information systems.Keywords: Library, Strategy, type of service

AbstractThe study aims to know the practical application of accounting knowledge in dayto-day transaction natation to oconomic education student FKIP Untan (Reg.A). the reearch approach used in this study is a qualitative approach the method used in this study is a descriptive method with a case-study form. The data source in this study is the student activee conomics education that is on the way and is housing and housing the 8 students from 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The data-gathering procedure in this study is to use interviews and documents. The data analysis in this research is using domain analysis. The atypical examination technique in this study is the use of reference materials and check. Strategi penguatan literasi dan kebahasaan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak merupakan upaya terpadu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami, menggunakan, dan menganalisis bahasa secara kritis. Fokus utama strategi ini adalah menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung kebiasaan membaca dan menulis, yang diintegrasikan dengan kurikulum serta aktivitas sehari-hari siswa. Program seperti pembiasaan membaca harian, kompetisi menulis, dan diskusi literatur menjadi bagian penting dari pendekatan ini. Selain itu, pelatihan bagi guru untuk mengajarkan literasi dengan metode yang lebih interaktif dan menarik juga diterapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengembangkan strategi penguatan literasi dan kebahasaan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. Pendekatan ini penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa, yang meliputi kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berpikir, serta penguasaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berlangsung selama tiga bulan, dimulai dari Januari hingga maret 2024. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara, strategi penguatan literasi di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap keterampilan membaca dan menulis siswa. Program pembiasaan membaca menunjukkan partisipasi yang cukup tinggi, meskipun minat siswa dalam diskusi literatur masih bervariasi. Guru dan staf perpustakaan mencatat peningkatan dalam keterlibatan siswa, terutama dalam penggunaan fasilitas perpustakaan dan kegiatan menulis kreatif. Namun, motivasi siswa dan efektivitas metode pengajaran masih perlu ditingkatkan agar program literasi dapat lebih merata diterima dan diikuti oleh seluruh siswa. berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan literasi siswa, termasuk kemampuan membaca, menulis kreatif, serta penguasaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik. Program ini juga berkontribusi dalam mendukung prestasi akademik siswa dan meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa secara menyeluruh.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out the process of implementing geography learning onlineduring the Pandemic Covid-19 at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The method of this study isdescriptive in the form of qualitative approach. The sources of data in this study were twogeography teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The data collection technique of this studywas observation, interview, and documentation . The results of the study show the followingfindings: (1) Planning for geography learning during the Pandemic Covid-19 , namely bypreparing a Learning Implementation Plan that has been adjusted to the syllabus. (2) Theprocess of implementing geography learning during the Covid-19 learning activities areimplemented oriented towards student activities carried out using an online system with theGoogle Classroom application (3) he evaluation of learning uses the assessment of attitudes,knowledge and skills (4) The obstacle for teachers in learning geography during the Covid-19 Pandemic was the lack of facilities and infrastructure that support online lessons.Theconclusion of this study is that the implementation of learning carried out at SMA Negeri 6Pontianak during the Covid-19 Pandemic has been carried out online, with teachers stillmaking customized learning tools.Keywords: Planning, implementation, evaluation, and learning barriers
