Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the quality and productivity of durian farming in the Jombang area through the implementation of crop improvement technology, especially the early grafting method. In this activity, Pondok Pesantren Bhakti Bapak Emak (BBE) Bareng acts as an institution that educates students and local farmers about this technology. Through intensive training, field practice, and ongoing mentoring, participants are given knowledge and skills in choosing the right variety, carrying out the grafting process, and caring for durian plants effectively. Apart from that, close collaboration between educational institutions, local governments, research institutions and farming communities is also the key to the success of this program. By focusing on improving durian characteristics, it is hoped that this program can improve the quality and productivity of the fruit, as well as empower local farmers by increasing income and skills. As a result, it is anticipated that the program will have a broad positive impact on local communities and agriculture in the region

Abstract

Assistance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Banggai Tengah District, Banggai Islands Regency, is an effort made to strengthen a sustainable local economy. Through preliminary studies, designing mentoring programs, implementing activities, and monitoring and evaluation, this activity aims to improve the skills, knowledge, and access of MSME owners to markets and the necessary resources. The method of implementing activities involves community participation, collaboration with related parties, application of participatory methods, and development of local capacity. The results of the implementation of activities show a significant increase in MSME skills and access, as well as a positive contribution to local economic growth. However, there are still challenges in implementing the program, such as ensuring sustainability and strengthening cooperation between related parties. Therefore, continuous efforts need to be made to increase the effectiveness and relevance of MSME mentoring programs in order to achieve sustainable local economic development

Abstract

Entrepreneurship training for guardians of students at MTs. Negeri 1 Serang aims to strengthen the family economy through increasing knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship. This activity was carried out on May 11 2024 involving active participation from participants. The structured and systematic implementation method includes theory and practical sessions to provide an in-depth understanding of the concepts of entrepreneurship, business management and marketing. Participant evaluations showed a significant increase in entrepreneurial understanding and skills after attending the training. Apart from that, this activity also facilitates the formation of networks and collaboration between participants, which is expected to provide continuous support in developing their businesses. Planned follow-up will be carried out to ensure that the positive impact of this training is sustainable in the long term

Abstract

Organizational ability is one of the soft skills that is important for vocational school students to prepare for the world of work. One way to improve organizational skills is through designing effective proposals. This research aims to improve the organizational skills of class X students at SMK Sasmita Jaya 1 through designing effective proposals. This research uses a quantitative method with a pre-test and post-test design. The research sample was 30 class X students of SMK Sasmita Jaya 1 who were chosen randomly. The research instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 10 questions. The data analysis technique used is the Mc Nemar Test. The results of the research showed that there was a significant increase in the organizational abilities of class Effective proposal design can improve the organizational skills of class X students at SMK Sasmita Jaya 1

Abstract

Implementing organizational basics, such as a clear vision and mission, inspirational leadership, strong organizational culture, and a transparent evaluation system, can significantly increase the effectiveness of character education. Apart from that, the integration of character education into the curriculum and extracurricular activities is also a determining factor in forming students' character. This research concludes that character education based on organizational fundamentals not only improves the moral quality of individuals, but also creates an educational environment that is conducive to the holistic development of students. Community service activities that focus on implementing character education based on organizational fundamentals at the Sasmita Jaya 1 Pamulang Vocational School. This activity aims to strengthen character values ??among students through a structured approach and based on organizational principles. The method used in this activity is a seminar. Implementation of the activity begins with a needs analysis and determining the vision and mission of character education in accordance with the school's culture and values. Furthermore, intensive training is carried out to integrate character values ??in the learning process and extracurricular activities. The character programs developed include various activities such as group discussions, community service projects, and competitions that encourage positive behavior. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in awareness and application of character values ??by students, as well as improvements in the school climate which was more conducive to learning. Continuous evaluation through surveys and observations shows that an organization-based character education approach has a positive impact on students' moral and ethical development

Abstract

Education is an invaluable investment for a nation, serving as the vanguard of its progress and prosperity. The future generations of a nation are shaped by the education they receive, and a strong educational foundation is essential for building a strong and resilient nation. When education is effectively managed, the outcomes are undeniably positive. It empowers a nation with the knowledge, skills, and moral compass to thrive in an ever-changing world. Character building lies at the heart of sustainable and enduring human development. It encompasses not only individual moral and ethical values but also leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, mental resilience, and the ability to adapt to diverse life situations. Abstract

The aim of carrying out this community service activity is for students to understand the forms of corruption and its aspects and change perceptions and attitudes towards corruption and form new skills and abilities aimed at fighting corruption. This activity uses the counseling method with lectures and discussions. The conclusion in this activity is the importance of socialization to build a young generation with integrity: the anti-corruption program through anti-corruption education is the cultivation of awareness of anti-corruption values ??which is applied from an early age with the aim of having good morals and character so that later they will not fall into acts of corruption. An anti-corruption attitude must be embedded in everyday life, including by always being honest in disciplined and responsible actions. Be it in the school, family or social environment. For this reason, we as agents of change strive to prevent acts of corruption that can harm ourselves and others. Abstract

This service activity aims to develop digital marketing strategies for MSMEs in Baros Village, Warunggunung District, Lebak Regency. The process begins with a preparation stage which includes identifying the needs of MSMEs through surveys and preparing training materials. Training covers the basics of digital marketing, use of social media, website creation, and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques. At the implementation stage, participants are given practical knowledge and immediately apply the strategies they have learned. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills, effective implementation of digital marketing strategies, as well as an increase in website traffic and product sales. Despite challenges such as limited resources, continuous monitoring and evaluation ensures the effectiveness of the strategies implemented. This program is expected to help Baros Village MSMEs utilize digital marketing to increase product competitiveness and make a positive contribution to the local economy

Abstract

Manajemen administrasi Rukun Tetangga merupakan salah satu upaya untuk membuat administrasi kelompok masyarakat menjadi tersistem dan terstruktur. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) bidang Pemerintahan Desa ini bertujuan untuk integrasi dan sosialisasi aplikasi SIMAPAN dan pendampingan Ptototipe manajemen administrasi RT di salah satu RT di lingkungan Desa Bulakan Kota Cilegon. Metode PKM pada kelompok 42 KKM Universitas Bina Bangsa dilakukan dengan dua tahapan yakni sosialisasi aplikasi SIMAPAN dari pemerintahan Kota Cilegon, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan prototipe manajemen administrasi RT dengan menggunakan Google Drive dan Q-RIS. Hasilnya integrasi antara sosialisasi dan prototipe manajemen administrasi RT memudahkan pengurus RT dalam memanaj dan terlihat rapih tanpa memerlukan banyak kertas. Sehingga ke depannya bisa dilakukan pada RT dan RW lainnya

Abstract

Hypertension is a significant public health issue and has shown a notable increase in prevalence in Indonesia in recent years. According to the 2018 Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS), the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia reached 34.1%, up from 25.8% in 2013. The impact of hypertension is substantial, contributing to 45% of deaths from heart disease and 51% of deaths from stroke. Astaxanthin, a natural carotenoid antioxidant found in various aquatic organisms, has shown potential as a blood pressure regulator through various mechanisms. Research indicates that astaxanthin is effective in reducing blood pressure and improving cardiovascular health. This community service program aims to increase public knowledge about astaxanthin at UPTD Puskesmas Lhok Beuringen through socialization and lectures. The results of the activities showed an increase in understanding and interest in astaxanthin among the community, as well as indications of changes in health behavior. The village of Meunasah Beuringen has shown a commitment to continuing this health education program, hoping to become a successful example for other villages in improving public health through effective education
