Abstract

The rapid development of technology and information in today's era poses significant challenges for youth, particularly in shaping strong character and moral values. Responding to this issue, the Community Service Program (PKM) titled "Efforts to Build Youth Character through Education at Tajaul Karomah, Situgadung Village, Tangerang Regency" was conducted to instill positive character values among students and educators. The main objective of this PKM activity was to strengthen the moral foundation and personal development of the youth through educational approaches and interactive learning methods. The activity was carried out on May 4, 2025, at the Tajaul Karomah Educational Institution Hall in Situgadung Village. It involved 15 lecturers from Pamulang University as facilitators and 45 participants consisting of students and teachers from Tajaul Karomah. The implementation method included material presentations, simulations, group discussions, and Q&A sessions. The PKM process was divided into three main stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. The results of the activity showed increased awareness among participants regarding the importance of character education, better understanding of values such as discipline, responsibility, and respect, as well as improved interaction between educators and students. This program effectively supported the educational institution’s mission to cultivate morally sound and socially responsible youth.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in supporting local economies, yet many still face challenges in marketing their products effectively, particularly in adapting to the digital era. In response to these challenges, a Community Service Program (PKM) entitled "Enhancing Human Resource Capacity in Digital Marketing Development for MSMEs in Air Batu Village, Palembang City" was conducted to increase local entrepreneurs’ digital marketing competencies. This PKM aimed to equip MSME actors with the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize digital platforms in promoting their products and expanding market reach. The activity was carried out in April 2025 in Air Batu Village, Palembang City, involving 15 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang as facilitators and 33 local participants. The implementation methods included a combination of material presentations, hands-on practice, group discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions. These methods were designed to be participatory and responsive to the specific needs of the participants. The results of the activity indicated a significant improvement in participants' understanding of digital marketing tools such as social media platforms, online marketplaces, and content creation. Participants expressed increased confidence in applying digital strategies to enhance their business visibility and customer engagement.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the economic development of rural communities. However, many MSMEs still face challenges in managing human resources (HR) effectively, especially in adapting to the demands of the digital era. This community service program (PKM) aimed to enhance human resource governance among MSMEs under the Tajaul Karomah group in Situgadung Village, Tangerang Regency. The main objective was to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage HR efficiently and leverage digital tools to improve productivity and competitiveness. The PKM activity was conducted on April 4–5, 2025, by 12 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and involved 30 participants from the local community. The method of implementation included planning, execution, and reporting stages. Activities were carried out through material presentations, hands-on practice, group discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions. The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of HR management principles and digital adaptation strategies. Participants expressed strong interest in applying the acquired knowledge to their business operations. This PKM initiative has contributed positively to local MSME development and demonstrated the importance of academic-community collaboration in addressing socio-economic challenges.

Abstract

Human resource quality is a key factor in achieving excellence in educational institutions. Many schools, particularly in developing or rural areas, face challenges in improving the skills and professionalism of their staff and organizational management. In response, a community service activity (PKM) titled "Improving the Quality of Human Resources at Tajaul Karomah Educational Institution, Situ Gadung Village, Tangerang Regency" was conducted to address these needs. The primary objective of this PKM was to strengthen the competence of teachers, school staff, foundation administrators, and student leaders in school governance, communication, and teamwork. The activity took place at Tajaul Karomah School on April 16, 2025. It was carried out by 12 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and attended by 23 participants comprising teachers, staff, and foundation administrators, along with 10 student council (OSIS) members. The implementation methods included material presentations, simulations, discussions, and Q&A sessions, designed to create interactive and practical learning experiences. These approaches encouraged active participation and real-time problem-solving. As a result, the participants reported increased understanding of effective school leadership, improved communication strategies, and enhanced collaboration skills. The activity also fostered closer ties between higher education institutions and community-based schools, supporting sustainable educational development.

Abstract

In today’s digital era, social media has become an essential tool for marketing, offering vast opportunities for young entrepreneurs to expand their businesses. However, many small business owners in rural areas still face challenges in effectively utilizing these platforms. This community service program aimed to empower young entrepreneurs in Situgadung Village, Tangerang Regency, by enhancing their knowledge and skills in social media marketing. The program took place in April 2025 at Situgadung Village and was facilitated by 12 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang. It involved 25 local MSME entrepreneurs as participants. The activities were carried out through a combination of lectures, practical simulations, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to maximize learning outcomes. Findings indicate that the participants improved their ability to use social media for promoting their products, engaging customers, and building their brand image. Many expressed greater confidence in managing digital marketing strategies and maintaining social media presence. This initiative contributed to raising awareness about modern marketing methods and is expected to support the growth and sustainability of the local businesses. Overall, the program demonstrates the critical role of social media as a marketing tool for young entrepreneurs in rural communities and offers a valuable framework for similar community empowerment efforts.

Abstract

A positive work environment plays a crucial role in enhancing the motivation and performance of human resources, especially in rural community settings. This community service activity aimed to examine the influence of a positive work environment on the motivation and performance of human resources in Desa Cicalengka, Kecamatan Pagedangan, Kabupaten Tangerang. The implementation took place at the Desa Cicalengka Office on May 5, 2024. The activity was conducted by 12 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and involved 27 local community members as participants. The methods applied included material presentation, practical exercises, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The PKM activities were systematically carried out through stages of planning, execution, and reporting. Results from the activity indicated that fostering a positive work environment significantly improved participants’ motivation and overall work performance. Community members showed increased enthusiasm, commitment, and cooperation in their respective roles after participating in the program. This improvement is expected to contribute to sustainable development and better governance in the village administration. The findings highlight the importance of continuous community empowerment efforts focused on creating supportive and motivating workplace conditions. Future programs are recommended to maintain and further develop these positive environmental factors to ensure long-term benefits.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted to address the need for improving organizational culture in order to enhance employee productivity at Yayasan Pendidikan Tajaul Karomah, Desa Situ Gadung, Kabupaten Tangerang. The background of this activity stems from the observation that a weak organizational culture negatively affects employee performance and overall productivity among teachers, staff, and other employees. The primary objective was to strengthen the organizational culture to support increased productivity within the foundation. The activity was held in the auditorium of Yayasan Pendidikan Tajaul Karomah on May 4, 2024, and was facilitated by 12 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang. The participants consisted of 25 teachers, staff, and employees of the foundation. The implementation of the community service involved three phases: planning, execution, and reporting. The methods employed during the activity included material presentations, practical exercises, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to ensure active participation and effective knowledge transfer. The results showed a marked improvement in participants’ understanding of organizational culture and its role in enhancing productivity. Participants reported increased motivation and a more cooperative working environment after the activity. These findings indicate that deliberate efforts to develop organizational culture can significantly improve employee productivity in educational institutions.

The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly influenced the education sector, requiring educational institutions to enhance the competence of their human resources in utilizing technology effectively. This community service activity (PKM) aims to improve the technological skills of teachers and students at the Tajaul Karomah Educational Institution in Situgadung Village, Tangerang Regency. The PKM was conducted on May 3–4, 2025, by a team of 15 lecturers from Pamulang University, involving 45 participants consisting of teachers and students. The implementation method consisted of three stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. During the execution stage, participants engaged in a series of activities including material presentations, practical sessions, discussions, and Q&A. The materials delivered focused on the use of digital tools for teaching and learning, basic digital literacy, and the integration of technology in classroom activities. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and confidence in using digital technology for educational purposes. Feedback from participants indicated high levels of satisfaction and a desire for continued training. This PKM program successfully contributed to empowering the human resources of the Tajaul Karomah Educational Institution to be more adaptive and responsive to technological advancements in education.

Abstract

This community service (PKM) activity titled "Marketing Training for MSMEs: Enhancing Product Competitiveness through Branding and Promotion at Tajaul Karomah, Situ Gadung Village, Tangerang Regency" was carried out to address these issues. The main objective was to improve the marketing capabilities of MSME players in Situ Gadung by equipping them with knowledge and practical skills in branding and promotional strategies. The activity was implemented in April 2025 at Tajaul Karomah School in Situ Gadung Village and involved 12 lecturers from Pamulang University as facilitators. A total of 25 participants, including local community members and MSME actors, took part. The PKM was conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. Methods used included lectures, hands-on practice, group discussions, and Q&A sessions. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding of branding techniques, promotional tools, and digital marketing strategies. Participants also demonstrated improved confidence in applying these methods to their businesses. Overall, the training successfully contributed to enhancing product competitiveness in the local MSME sector.

This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to improve the digital competencies of staff at the Tajaul Karomah Education Institute in Situ Gadung Village, Tangerang Regency. The main objective was to equip teachers, administrative staff, and students with the necessary knowledge and skills to adapt to and utilize digital tools effectively in their educational and administrative activities. The PKM was conducted on May 3–4, 2025, at the Tajaul Karomah School by a team of 15 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang. The activity involved 45 participants, including teachers, administrative staff, and students. The implementation consisted of three stages, preparation, execution, and reporting. During the execution stage, the PKM team used a combination of lectures, hands-on practice, discussions, and Q&A sessions to deliver the training. As a result, participants showed a marked increase in understanding and ability to operate various digital tools and platforms relevant to their roles. Feedback indicated high satisfaction and a strong desire for continued training in digital literacy. This PKM has contributed significantly to enhancing the digital competency and readiness of educational human resources in the region.
