Abstract

T The research was motivated by the problems that occurred at SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya, namely the low learning outcomes of students. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of implementing the learning model giving question and getting answer media assisted wordwall random cards to improve student learning outcomes in economics subjects, international trade material. The method used is method quasi experiment with research design non-equivalent control group design, as well as data collection techniques through multiple choice tests. The research population of all class XI IPS at SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya for the 2023/2024 academic year was 179 students. The samples used were class XI IPS 2, totaling 36 people as the experimental class and class purposive sampling. Based on the research results, it is clear that there is an influence of learning models giving question and getting answer media assisted wordwall random cards in improving student learning outcomes in economics subjects, international trade material, where Ha is accepted if the value Sig. (2-tailed) ≤ 5% or 0.05 and based on the research results the value is obtained Sig. (2-tailed) equal to 0.000 < 0.05. The average score of the experimental class is higher than the control class, thus it can be concluded in this study that the learning model giving question and getting answer media assisted wordwall random cards can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Research focused on analyzing the extent to which technological developments affect the physical fitness level of gen alpha. The research uses a qualitative method by relying on various literatures. The data in this study were obtained through literacy studies as analysis techniques. Gen alpha’s a physical development has an influence from technological development. Gen alpha grew up in the middle of the digital era and is accustomed to technological sophistication. Physical fitness has benefits for health which aims to prevent the body from feeling excessively tired due to the activities that human do because it needs to be accompanied by sufficient energy. The results showed that technological development affected the level physical fitness of alpha genes. Physical fitness is very important for children’s activities and the influence of technology makes gen alpha rarely do physical activities. This causes physical fitness to slowly decrease, so the little physical activity they do makes them feel tired. Thus, knowing the extent to which technological development affects the physical fitness of gen alpha can be a reference for parents and teachers to direct children to carry out physical activities that can improve physical fitness.

Abstract

This research report investigates students' experiences using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the thesis writing process. Data collection was carried out by means of in-depth interviews with 6 undergraduate students at Sanata Dharma University. Transcendental phenomenology was used in this research to dig deeper into how they interacted with AI and how AI influenced their thesis writing process. This research displays three emerging themes:1) AI improved students' motivation in writing a thesis, 2) AI fosters decision-making to solve problems, 3) AI promotes students’ self-confidence and shifting attitudes. This research contributes to understanding how the use of AI affects students' experiences and their thesis writing process. Further research is needed to understand the long-term impact of using AI in the thesis writing process and higher education as a whole.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of Jigsaw technique in teaching reading. This study used an experimental design. The population of the research was 29 students and the sample was taken 29 students from all of the population. To take the sample the present researcher used purposive sampling technique. In collecting data, the present researcher used instrument to measure students’ effectiveness of Jigsaw Technique in reading. To analyze data, the present researcher used paired-samples t-test to find out the effectiveness of the technique. The result of data analysis that there was a significant difference in the scores between the pre-test and the post-test, was significance at p = 0.000, meaning that the null hypothesis is rejected (Ho) and alternative hypothesis is accepted (Ha).It means that there was a significant effectiveness of Jigsaw Technique in teaching reading for the tenth graders of MA NW Sikur in the academic year 2023-2024.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a shooting learning model in football games to improve shooting accuracy learning outcomes in football games through developing learning models. This research is research and development or better known as R&D. The development method that the author uses is the Borg & Gall development model which has been varied, namely (1) conducting initial model research, (2) creating a new model in the form of a shooting learning model in football games, (3) validating football learning experts and learning experts ( physical education teacher), (4) conducting small-scale trials with 10 students, (5) product revision by football learning experts and learning experts (PJOK teachers), (6) conducting large-scale trials with 30 students, (7) product revisions based on trials large group. The data analysis technique uses quantitative data in the form of scores converted into percentages. The results of the research show that the soccer shooting learning model for training shooting accuracy in learning the game of soccer for junior high school students is very good/usable. These results were obtained from validation by football learning experts who showed a percentage of (model I) 90.6% (model II) 86.6% and physical education teacher learning experts (model I) 93.3% (model II) 90.6%. The assessment from small-scale trials obtained a percentage of 94.3%. And the assessment from large-scale trials obtained a percentage of 95.6%.

Abstract

Student worksheets (LKPD) are assignment sheets that must be completed by students in learning which contain instructions, steps and basic competencies to be achieved. This research aims to measure the validity, practicality and effectiveness of Contextual Teaching and Learning-Based Participant Worksheets in Thematic Learning. The research model used is the development of a 4-D (Four D) model, consisting of 4 stages, namely; define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of this research are in accordance with the assessment of 2 validator experts, namely that student worksheets with a percentage of 85% are categorized as valid, meaning that the LKPD developed is suitable for use. Apart from that, the results of practicality by expert LKPD practitioners with a percentage of 83% were categorized as practical. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the LKPD is said to be effective if it meets the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. It can be seen from the cognitive learning results reaching 93%, while the affective learning results are 3 students who are in the very good category with a percentage of 13%. There are 8 students who are in the good category with a percentage of 70. % there are 3 students who are in the quite good category with a percentage of 13%, there is 1 student who is in the need guidance category with a percentage of 4%. Judging from the psychomotor learning results, there are 11 students in the good category with a percentage of 75% and there are 4 students with a fairly good category with a percentage of 25%.

Abstract

Education has a goal, namely to give birth to a generation that is intelligent, high quality, characterized and cultured. One of the goals of this education is to give birth to a generation of character, meaning that it is very important for students to instill good character. Teachers must familiarize students with instilling good values in students so that they will not only understand the material but instill good values that are important to apply. By using the VCT Approach with the help of Pop Up Books as a learning medium to increase students' curiosity in learning social studies, where social studies studies social sciences, there are values contained in each material. The aim of this research is to examine the application of the VCT approach assisted by Pop Up Books in class IV social studies learning at SDN Sumbek. The method used uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the data obtained, the application of the VCT approach assisted by Pop Up Books has been implemented well which can increase students' awareness in instilling the values that will be applied. It is hoped that this research will be useful to related parties who can benefit from it, such as school principals, teachers and students, as well as future researchers.

Abstract

The low quality of education is one of the problems that continues to be sought for solutions. This is caused by a lack of student motivation to learn and results in low learning outcomes. The learning outcomes of these students are an indicator of the high and low quality of education in a region. Improving the quality of education in elementary schools must pay attention to character education, ethics, morals and manners. Many factors influence educational success and one of the most determining factors is the teacher. Teachers must be creative in creating a learning environment that supports the success of the learning process at school. Teachers must be able to motivate students to actively learn and be able to create innovations so that the learning process becomes more enjoyable by applying various different media, models and methods. This research aims to determine the influence of teacher creativity and learning motivation at SD St. Nikolaus Talawaan, North Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

Research has been conducted entitled the use of digital-based learning media in learning to write poetry at SMP Negeri 2 Woja, Dompu Regency. The main objective of this research is to carry out an in-depth analysis of the use of learning media that utilizes the use of technology in the process of learning to write poetry. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the data collection techniques used are observation and writing performance. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in qualitative analysis has four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and the final step is drawing conclusions and verification. The research results show that the use of learning media, especially technology-based learning media such as digital learning media, has proven effective in improving learning outcomes, especially in learning to write poetry. Digital learning media allows educators to present material in a more interesting and interactive way, motivating students to be more active in the learning process. Various learning media, such as Quizziz, PowerPoint, poetry anthologies, YouTube channels, and Instagram social media, can be used for various purposes in learning to write poetry, from understanding basic concepts to producing poetry and publishing it.

Abstract

Children's creativity needs to be increased; therefore, learning must be interesting and fun. One way to increase creativity is through illustrated stories. This research aims to determine the increase in children's creativity through picture stories. This research is classroom action research. The subjects in this Creativity research were students from group B RA Barakatussoulatiyah NW Puyung. The number of students in group B RA Barakatussoulatiyah NW Puyung is 30 children. This research is collaborative between researchers, school principals, and accompanying class teachers. Data was collected through observation, field notes, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was checked by triangulation. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative flow model. The results of this research show that there is an increase in children's creativity through picture stories, namely pre-cycle creativity of 13.33%, cycle I creativity of 46.67% and cycle II creativity of 80.00%. Increasing children's creativity through picture stories is also supported by several indicators, namely creative reactions, long attention spans, self-organization / self-confidence, linking ideas or ideas / telling stories, developing imagination and adding new vocabulary. Apart from that, success in increasing creativity is also supported by supporting methods, including providing time to explore and providing very good motivation. The conclusion of this research is that picture stories can increase children's creativity.
