Abstract

Siswa memerlukan kegiatan yang positif agar bisa mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam segala bidang. Guru atau orang tua harus bisa mengajarkan siswanya sebagai anak yang memiliki kepribadian yang disiplin, mandiri dan jujur. Kegiatan outbound ini memiliki tujuan agar siswa mampu mengeluarkan karakter dan emosionalnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menerapkan pendekatan ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development). Pendekatan ABCD ini merupakan jenis pendekatan kritis yang tergolong dalam pengembangan masyarakat, yang fokus pada pemanfaatan kekuatan dan aset yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat itu sendiri. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berada di SDN 5 Sawoo, Kecamatan Sawoo, Kabupaten Ponorogo. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan dampak yang positif baik segi karakter dan emosional siswa. Melalui kegiatan ini siswa bisa mengetahui karakternya masing-masing dan mampu meregulasi emosi yang dimiliki. Kata kunci: Karakter, Outbound, Emosional

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan yang semakin berkembang membutuhkan tenaga-tenaga guru yang terampil guna dapat mengimbangi kemajuan teknologi informasi dalam dunia pendidikan itu sendiri, pengabdian masyarakat yang kami laksanakan berfokus pada memberikan pelatihan berupa kemampuan bagi guru untuk dapat meningkatkan citra sekolah, utamanya dalam bidang branding, yang mana pada hal ini kami memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk dilatih digital branding selama 2 hari. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan mencakupi tahapan persiapan, tahapan pelaksanaan, tahapan pelatihan, dan tahapan evaluasi. Pada tahapan pelaksanaan dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah dan diskusi, sedangkan pada tahapan pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui bimbingan praktik dan tanya jawab. Pelatihan ini didasari pada bahwasanya dengan digital branding maka akan tercipta citra sekolah yang baik di mata masyarakat sehingga menimbulkan ketertarikan lebih banyak konsumen yang membutuhkan pendidikan.

Abstract

Mitra Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) adalah para Guru. Berdasarkan analisis awal diketahui bahwa Guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mendeteksi karakteristik siswa, dan mengembangkan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa yang beragam pula. PKM bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Guru dalam memfasilitasi siswa untuk belajar, maka diadakan pelatihan tentang desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang sejalan dengan konsep merdeka belajar. Metode yang digunakan PKM Project Based learning, diawali dengan pemaparan materi dan demonstrasi teknis oleh narasumber lalu diberikan penugasan yang nanti akan dilakukan pendampingan secara daring, sampai Guru mampu mengimplementasikan desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam pembelajarannya. Subjek pelatihan adalah mitra Guru yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil pelatihan berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses, peserta juga sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan. Pada kegiatan ini ditemukan bahwa Guru usia tua mengalami kesulitan dalam proses menggunakan teknologi untuk mengembangkan ragam bahan ajar/media pembelajaran, sedangkan penggunaan teknologi tidak ada kendala untuk para Guru usia muda dan beberapa kali juga menerapkan saat mengajar, sehingga dapat mengikuti dengan baik sesuai harapan. Pelatihan desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menggunakan berbagai media, studi kasus, dan projek desain pembelajaran agar Guru dapat menggunakan teknologi pada berbagai ragam bahan ajar/media pembelajaran, ragam proses, ragam produk, dan ragam lingkungan yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Abstract

The community partner for the year 2024 is located in SILN Bangkok, Thailand. The challenges faced by the partner include suboptimal utilization of technology and digitalization in the development of educational media. This condition serves as the basis for community service implementation, where the research team possesses specific expertise in educational institution management, particularly the issues faced by institutions in SILN Bangkok. Based on the priority issues faced by the partner, the agreed-upon method is training. In addition to direct training, the method used includes online mentoring to help the partner develop engaging and innovative educational media. The mandatory outcomes are Mass Media News and Activity Videos. The results obtained indicate that SILN Bangkok partners have gained an improvement in understanding and skills related to the quality of educational media using the Canva platform through 32 hours of training and mentoring, both online and offline, and have received a satisfaction indicator in the "satisfactory" category. Abstract

Training on developing learning gamification aims to strengthen collaborative cooperation among teachers and students in elementary schools. This training focuses on increasing teachers' understanding and skills in designing and implementing gamification elements that encourage cooperation, collaboration and social interaction in learning. Through the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model, this training provides a systematic approach in developing technology-based and non-digital learning gamification. Training activities are carried out using blended learning, which combines offline and online learning to provide flexibility and effectiveness in implementation. The results of this training show a significant increase in teachers' ability to integrate gamification in learning, as well as building sustainable learning communities in schools. The results of the PKM implementation questionnaire showed that 91.7% of teachers were helped by this training. The suitability of the material to the needs received a score of 92.8%, the method of delivering the material was 94.2%, the follow-up to complaints or questions was good at 91.4%, and the indicator of increasing the professional and pedagogical competence of partners/participants was 93.5% . This training not only strengthens teacher competence in using educational technology but also strengthens the values ​​of mutual cooperation among students, thereby creating a more collaborative and inclusive learning environment. Abstract

Bullying in the educational environment is in the spotlight of society and social media. Data from KPAI for 2021 recorded 2,982 cases of violence against children, of which 157 were cases of bullying. Educational institutions, as producers of human resources, are expected to create a safe and friendly environment for students, but in reality there are still many cases of bullying. Therefore, preparing an anti-bullying training program is very necessary. This training aims to equip teachers with knowledge and skills in developing a holistic anti-bullying program, creating a safe, comfortable learning environment and supporting student development. The methods used in implementing this training activity include lectures, questions and answers, discussions, giving assignments, and independent practice. The results of the training showed that teachers acquired the skills to design effective anti-bullying programs. From the pretest results, data on teacher understanding of bullying was 75.2%. After participating in the training, results increased to 80.5%. Evaluation through a training questionnaire showed that 93.5% of participants felt helped by this training. This training makes a positive contribution in creating a learning environment that is free from bullying at the elementary school level, and supports the creation of schools that are inclusive, innovative and relevant to current developments. Abstract

Maintaining children's health and safety is a shared responsibility involving families, schools and communities, as children will develop optimally in a safe and comfortable environment. Collaboration between various parties is needed to create a supportive environment, including in schools. Data from 2023 shows that cases of violence against children in Indonesia are still very high, with adverse physical, emotional and sexual impacts on children as vulnerable individuals. Teachers as educators and protectors in schools have an important role in preventing child abuse through the right knowledge and strategies. Departing from this problem, the implementation team from the Community Service Program (PKM) PG PAUD Study Program designed a mentoring program for teachers related to efforts to prevent violence in early childhood. This program is realized in the form of training involving IGTKI teachers in Banyuwangi Regency, given the high number of child abuse cases that occur in the region. The training aims to improve teachers' ability to recognize, detect, and make preventive efforts to minimize violence against children in schools. With this training, teachers are expected to have a deeper understanding of various forms of violence, risk factors, and effective interventions. In addition, this training also aims to create synergy between teachers and the school environment in building a safe learning atmosphere, thus supporting children's maximum growth and development. This program is expected to be the first step in creating a child-friendly and violence-free school environment.

Abstract

Kamang Magek is one of the sub-districts that is an expansion of the Tilatang Kamang sub-district in Agam Regency. The current problem is the low competence of teachers, namely 54.77% and there are still many teachers who do not understand digital technology, namely 97.5% of teachers. This means that there are still many teachers who have not been able to carry out learning using technology and create learning media using digital media. For this reason, it is necessary to improve teacher competence, namely by conducting technical guidance on making learning media using digital technology for elementary school teachers using AI Magic School. The method in this activity is by establishing partner cooperation, setting the activity time, sharing best practices, teacher competency training and technical guidance on making learning media. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest in the form of a questionnaire, it is known that the teacher's literacy competence before training was 73% and increased to 97% after training. Then for the ability to use magic school there was also an increase where before the training the value of the teacher's ability to use magic school was 68 while after the training the value of the teacher's ability to use magic school became 98%. This means that training can increase teachers' digital competence and understanding of using AI Magic School.

Abstract

Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL), di bawah naungan Keduataan Besar Republik Indonesia (KBRI), berperan sebagai garda depan diplomasi pendidikan Indonesia di Malaysia, mendukung pembangunan sumber daya manusia (SDM) berbasis Pancasila dan UUD 1945. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kendala pembelajaran di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) serta mengembangkan solusi berupa penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis video yang efektif serta berfokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan relevan bagi siswa di abad ke-21. Metode penelitian meliputi studi pendahuluan, penyampaian materi melalui pelatihan ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, simulasi pengolahan bahan pustaka, serta perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) sebagian besar masih menggunakan metode konvensional, yaitu metode pembelajaran berbasis teks melalui modul dan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Untuk mengatasi hal ini, solusi yang kami lakukan adalah melalui pelatihan media pembelajaran berbasis video. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pendidik terkait pembelajaran berbasis video serta memberikan kemampuan kepada sekolah mitra untuk mengembangkan sendiri media pembelajaran berbasis video yang dapat diterapkan pada masing-masing mata pelajaran.
