Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Qira'ah Kitabah method in Arabic language learning to improve the learning skills of tenth-grade students at MAN 1 Gunungkidul. The Qira'ah Kitabah method, which integrates reading (qira'ah) and writing (kitabah) skills, is considered capable of encouraging students to be more active in understanding the structure of the Arabic language contextually. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects of the study are Arabic language teachers and tenth-grade students who participated in learning with this method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of student learning documents. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Qira'ah Kitabah method can increase learning motivation, strengthen vocabulary understanding, and improve students' reading and writing skills in Arabic. Supporting factors for the success of this method include active student involvement, contextual learning media, and the communicative approach used by the teacher. This research recommends the broader application of the Qira'ah Kitabah method as an effective alternative strategy for Arabic language learning at the Madrasah Aliyah level.

Abstract

The researcher is trying to introduce innovation in the form of the Talking Stick model in teaching Arabic language. Based on the mentioned educational issues, the objectives of this research are: To reveal the results of teaching Grade 3B students in the Arabic language lesson using the Talking Stick model at Fatima Al-Zahra Islamic Middle School Magelang. The research method used for this research is Classroom Action Research with the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models which consists of four stages: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. The researcher conducted this research in Duran. The research subject is the students of Grade 3B at Fatima Al-Zahra Islamic Middle School Magelang with a total of 16 students. The subject of the research is student learning outcomes. The result of this research is as follows: The implementation of the Talking Stick model in the Arabic language subject (Grade 3B) has improved the students' learning outcomes as evidenced by the evidence in the first round that the students' learning outcome obtained the 50th percentile with an average of 70 out of 16 students. In the second round, the students' learning outcome obtained the 75th percentile with an average of 79.0 out of 16 students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a writing (kitabah) learning media based on a game using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) to enhance Arabic writing skills at Pondok Pesantren Raudhatus Sakinah, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall model approach. The research subjects include 14 eighth-grade students and the Arabic language teacher at the pesantren. Data collection techniques involved questionnaires, tests, as well as interviews and observations. Quantitative data was gathered through pre-tests and post-tests to measure students' writing improvements after using the learning media, while qualitative data was obtained from interviews with teachers and observations during the media usage. Data analysis techniques included quantitative analysis using the Wilcoxon test to examine significant differences between pre-test and post-test scores, and qualitative analysis using the Miles and Huberman model to reduce, display, and draw conclusions from the collected data. The results show that the SAC-based learning media is valid according to assessments from content and media experts, and there is a significant improvement in students' writing skills after using the media, with the Wilcoxon test showing a significance value of less than 0.05. The implications of this research indicate that SAC-based game media can serve as an effective alternative to improve Arabic writing skills in pesantren, as well as provide prospects for further development of interactive learning media in other educational institutions.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di era digital menuntut inovasi media yang interaktif dan kontekstual agar sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi Lumi Education dalam pengembangan buku digital interaktif serta merumuskan strategi implementatif yang efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kesenjangan penelitian yang diangkat adalah masih terbatasnya pemanfaatan platform digital interaktif seperti Lumi Education secara spesifik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, terutama yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan integratif, kontekstual, dan adaptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi pustaka dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lumi Education mampu mendukung penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa Arab secara menyeluruh melalui konten H5P yang variatif dan mudah digunakan. Strategi implementasi mencakup strategi integratif yaitu penggabungan keterampilan bahasa dengan literasi digital dan nilai karakter, kontekstual yaitu pengaitan materi dengan kehidupan nyata siswa, serta adaptif yaitu penyesuaian konten dengan gaya dan kemampuan belajar individu. Lumi Education terbukti menjadi platform strategis dalam mentransformasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab menjadi lebih efektif dan bermakna.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media that can be used as an alternative to help students learn independently outside of class hours, so that it is expected to improve their learning outcomes. The type of research used is development research (Research and Development) by applying the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted at MTs Pondok Pesantren Al-Hidayah Jambi, with the research subjects being students at the institution. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning outcomes tests, interviews, and observations of the process of using the media. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches to determine the effectiveness of the media and students' responses. The results showed that 57% of students were able to answer the questions correctly, indicating that the learning media developed was in the good category. Based on interviews, learners stated that this media is feasible and helps in the process of independent learning outside the classroom. This finding shows that the developed learning media has the potential to support the improvement of learning outcomes and strengthen students' learning independence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dinamika penggunaan bahasa Arab fusha dalam pelayanan wisatawan Arab di PT Labbaek Indonesia serta menggali persepsi dan pengalaman komunikasi para pihak yang terlibat. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, penelitian ini menempatkan staf perusahaan dan wisatawan Arab sebagai subjek utama. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipasi, serta analisis dokumen perusahaan. Data dianalisis melalui pendekatan tematik dengan merujuk pada teori bahasa Arab untuk tujuan khusus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahasa Arab fusha secara umum dipandang efektif dalam menjembatani komunikasi lintas negara di kalangan wisatawan Arab, khususnya mereka yang berlatar belakang akademik atau profesional. Namun demikian, keterbatasan muncul ketika berhadapan dengan wisatawan dari latar belakang non-akademik yang lebih terbiasa dengan dialek ʿāmiyyah. Selain itu, kemampuan staf dalam menggunakan fusha secara konsisten dan profesional juga menjadi tantangan tersendiri, mengingat sebagian besar mempelajarinya secara autodidak. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, sebagian pemandu mengadopsi pendekatan adaptif dengan menggabungkan fusha dan dialek lokal. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan, integrasi teknologi penerjemah, serta evaluasi layanan secara berkala guna meningkatkan kepuasan wisatawan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pengembangan kompetensi bahasa dalam sektor pariwisata berbasis kebutuhan spesifik dan beragam wisatawan Arab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis diksi dan gaya bahasa dalam terjemahan lagu "Qalbi Fill Madinah" dengan pendekatan stilistika. Lagu ini memiliki makna yang mendalam bagi umat Islam, dengan lirik yang menggambarkan cinta, kerinduan, dan penghormatan terhadap Nabi Muhammad SAW dan kota Madinah. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yang fokus pada analisis penggunaan diksi dan gaya bahasa yang ada dalam terjemahan lirik lagu dari bahasa Arab ke bahasa Indonesia. Subjek penelitian ini adalah lirik lagu "Qolbi Fill Madinah" dan terjemahannya, yang diambil dari karya Maher Zain dan Harris J, sedangkan objek penelitian meliputi pemilihan diksi, penggunaan majas, serta efek estetika dan emosional yang timbul dari kedua teks tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi dan simak-catat, yaitu dengan mengumpulkan lirik lagu dalam bahasa Arab dan terjemahannya dalam bahasa Indonesia. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teori stilistika Geoffrey Leech, yang mencakup konsep penyimpangan (deviation), penonjolan (foregrounding), serta analisis efek estetika dan kontekstual dari setiap baris lirik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjemahan lagu ini tidak hanya berfokus pada pemindahan makna denotatif, tetapi juga berupaya mempertahankan keindahan dan nuansa estetika yang terkandung dalam teks asli. Meskipun ada pergeseran dalam pemilihan diksi dan gaya bahasa untuk menyesuaikan dengan bahasa sasaran, penerjemahan ini berhasil mempertahankan kedalaman emosional dan spiritual yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendekatan stilistika dalam penerjemahan lagu religi untuk mempertahankan nilai-nilai estetika, emosional, dan spiritual dalam bahasa sasaran, serta memberikan panduan bagi penerjemah agar lebih memperhatikan aspek puitis dan estetis dalam karya sastra yang diterjemahkan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the evaluation instruments for sentence structure (tarkib) and vocabulary (mufrodat) in the Arabic language textbook for ninth grade published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, section al-Haflu bi maulidi ar-Rasul ﷺ. The approach used is qualitative descriptive and content analysis to assess the alignment of the questions with the theory formulated by Muhammad A’li Al-Khuli in his book Al-Ikhtibaarot Al-Lughowiyyah. This research uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which includes data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification to obtain valid and systematic findings. The research results reveal that the details of the analyzed questions can be classified into categories of question items as outlined in the book Al-Ikhtibaarot Al-Lughowiyyah, showing a combination of various types of question items. Out of a total of 51 items, there are 31 items of composition and vocabulary according to the evaluation categories formulated by Muhammad A’li Al-Khuli in Al-Ikhtibaarot Al-Lughowiyyah, 26 composition items and 5 vocabulary items, while the rest do not conform to the evaluation categories according to Muhammad A’li Al-Khuli in his book. This study emphasizes the importance of developing evaluation instruments that are in accordance with linguistic theory to be effective in measuring the achievement of student competencies in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar maharah qira’ah berbasis nilai-nilai religius bagi siswa kelas XII di MA Unggulan KH. Abd. Wahab Hasbullah Tambakberas, Jombang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan siswa kelas XII sebagai pengguna bahan ajar. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, angket, validasi ahli, dan tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test). Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sangat layak, dengan persentase kelayakan 90% dari ahli materi dan 95% dari ahli media. Uji coba lapangan menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dari rata-rata nilai pre-test 58,75 menjadi 83,88 pada post-test. Respons siswa terhadap bahan ajar mencapai 76,71%, yang termasuk kategori layak. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar maharah qira’ah berbasis nilai religius efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca teks Arab sekaligus menanamkan nilai-nilai religius pada siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the personality of Arabic language teachers and students’ interest in learning Arabic. The research employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population consists of all students at MTs Ira Medan, with a sample of 28 students selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson Product Moment correlation formula. The results indicate a statistically significant relationship between teacher personality and students’ learning interest, with a significance value of 0.00 (p < 0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.669, which falls into the strong category (0.61–0.80). This value exceeds the r table (0.374), leading to the conclusion that there is a strong positive relationship between teacher personality (X) and students’ interest in learning (Y), with a contribution of 44.7%. These findings highlight the importance of teacher personality development as a key factor in enhancing students' interest in learning Arabic.
