Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in Grade XI at SMA Negeri 1 Garut using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The background of this research is based on the importance of evaluating PAI learning not only in terms of cognitive achievement but also in affective and religious behavioral aspects of students. This study employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation, which are analyzed descriptively according to the four components of the CIPP model. The results show that in the context aspect, PAI learning has been aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum, the school’s vision, and is supported by a conducive religious culture. In the input aspect, teacher readiness, learning tools, and facilities are considered adequate. In the process aspect, learning activities are generally effective with varied teaching methods and active student participation. In the product aspect, students demonstrate good academic achievement as well as improvements in religious attitudes and positive behavioral changes, although the internalization of religious values is not evenly distributed among all students. Overall, PAI learning has been implemented well, but it still requires strengthened innovation and continuous guidance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning styles of seventh-grade students (Class VII-J) at SMPN 1 Grogol as a basis for developing ethnoscience-based animation media in science learning. This aim is based on the importance of understanding students’ learning characteristics so that the developed learning media can meet their needs and preferences. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method with 31 students from Class VII-J of SMPN 1 Grogol as the subjects. Data were collected through a learning style questionnaire to identify students’ learning tendencies and interviews with science teachers to obtain supporting information regarding the learning process and student characteristics. The results of the study show that the majority of students have a visual learning style (52%), followed by auditory (13%), kinesthetic (13%), visual-kinesthetic combination (3%), and visual-auditory combination (19%). These findings indicate that most students find it easier to understand the material through visual presentations such as images, videos, and animations. Therefore, the results of this study can serve as a foundation for designing ethnoscience-based animation media that are not only visually appealing but also connect science concepts with local wisdom in the students’ surroundings. Thus, the developed media are expected to enhance student engagement and understanding in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing learning media based on Educaplay in improving students' learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI). This research applies a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group design. The study involved an experimental class with 17 students and a control class with 17 students. Data were collected through observation sheets on the implementation of learning as well as pre-test and post-test consisting of 16 questions. Data analysis included descriptive tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and N-Gain tests. Research findings show that the observation of the implementation of Educaplay media falls into the good/feasible category, with an observation score of 83 for teachers and 79 for students. Furthermore, the average score of the experimental class increased from 40.47 to 86.53, outperforming the control class which only increased from 47.94 to 60.24. The results of the independent sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, which confirms the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. In addition, the N-Gain of the experimental class reached 0.78 with a high category compared to the control class which was only 0.23 with a low category. It can be concluded that Educaplay media significantly influences the improvement of student learning outcomes in the Islamic Cultural History subject.

Abstract

Perception become indicator important in evaluate success something innovation especially in the field of education. Through perception, a teacher can understand How a learning medium accepted and felt by participants educate. Educational games No only viewed as activity play solely, will but also can utilized as a learning medium that supports the understanding process material by students. Research objectives This is for know perception student to use of educational games as a learning medium. Research This use quantitative descriptive. Data collected with distribution questionnaire to student class X, XI, XI and interview to class guardian MA Tuhfatul Ulum. Validity test results in questionnaire declared valid, whereas reliability test results Cronbach alpha value obtained the result is 0.731 above 0.7 minimum criteria indicating instrument reliable. Questionnaire results show percentage overall 83% with very good category, which shows height level acceptance, interest, and response positive student to application of educational games in the learning process. Findings This signify that educational game capable increase interest, motivation, activity, and creating atmosphere learn more​ pleasant.

Abstract

The integration of tahfiz, diniyah education, and academic curriculum is an important approach in the development of modern Islamic boarding schools to produce students who excel spiritually, intellectually, and socially. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the integration of tahfiz, diniyah, and academic programs in strengthening the competencies of students at Pondok An-Nahdloh Malaysia. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through participatory observation of daily learning activities and analysis of institutional documents. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive model with Robin Fogarty's curriculum integration theoretical framework. The results show that curriculum integration is implemented through the alignment of tahfiz activities, the study of turats books in diniyah education, and formal academic learning in a mutually supportive learning system. This practice reflects a combination of sequenced and integrated models that enable comprehensive material and learning experiences for santri. This integration contributes to improving students' ability to memorize the Qur'an, their understanding of Islamic scholarship, their academic achievement, and the formation of their religious character and social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the decision to drop out of school among students in Genurid Hamlet using Bernard Weiner (dalam Ardianita, 2024)'s Attribution Theory perspective. This study is a descriptive qualitative study of five participants who dropped out of junior high school (SMP). Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study indicate that the decision to drop out of school is the result of an interaction between internal and external factors, including task difficulty, ability, effort, and luck (circumstances beyond an individual's control). Participants perceived mathematics as a difficult subject, attributed failure to their own limitations in ability, and showed low learning engagement. In addition, family conditions, low parental education levels, experiences of failing a grade, economic factors, and family mindsets toward education also influenced this decision. This study confirms that dropping out of school is not only influenced by structural factors, but also by cognitive processes and the family environment, which are interrelated.

Abstract

The acceleration of Industry 4.0 has transformed the qualifications required of the automotive workforce, requiring vocational graduates to possess not only technical competence but also digital proficiency and psychological resilience. This study examines the influence of self-efficacy and digital literacy on the work readiness of 104 twelfth-grade students in the Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) program. A quantitative approach with total sampling was employed, using a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire analyzed through multiple linear regression in Stata 17. Descriptive results indicate that self-efficacy, digital literacy, and work readiness are at a moderate-to-high level. Partial hypothesis testing reveals that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on work readiness (β = 0.5108, p < 0.05), as does digital literacy (β = 0.5890, p < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables explain 53.34% of the variance in work readiness (F = 57.72, p < 0.001). These findings highlight that the synergy between internal self-belief and digital competence is a critical predictor of career resilience amid technological disruption. This study recommends integrating self-efficacy and digital literacy through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and collaborative inquiry to enhance students’ work readiness in a competitive global labor market.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed educational practices, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which is increasingly conducted through online learning platforms. This transformation requires teachers not only to possess pedagogical competence but also to uphold professional ethics in digital learning environments. This study aims to analyze the implementation of professional ethics among PAI teachers in online learning through a literature review of teacher codes of ethics in the digital era. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by examining relevant books, scholarly articles, and academic documents. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to identify key ethical principles applicable to online learning practices. The results indicate that the implementation of professional ethics in online PAI learning includes moral responsibility, professionalism, integrity, and the ethical use of digital media in a respectful and communicative manner. Furthermore, adherence to the teacher code of ethics plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of learning and fostering Islamic values within digital environments. Therefore, strengthening ethical awareness and digital literacy is essential to support effective, responsible, and value-oriented learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of students in mathematics learning, which is still dominated by lecture methods and the minimal use of interactive learning media. This study aims to test the effectiveness of smartbox learning media in improving HOTS abilities in fourth grade students of SDS NU Padomasan. The study used a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 30 students. The instrument used was a test that had passed validity and reliability tests. The results of the validity test showed that out of 15 questions, 12 were declared valid and 3 were invalid. Meanwhile, the reliability test obtained a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.867 which indicates that the instrument has a high level of reliability. The normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test yielded a significance value of 0.200 (>0.05), indicating a normally distributed data. The results of the hypothesis test using the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance value of 0.005 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Furthermore, there was an increase in each HOTS indicator, namely analytical skills (C4), evaluation (C5), and creativity (C6), with a significance value of 0.000. Thus, it can be concluded that the smartbox learning media is effective in improving students' HOTS skills in mathematics learning. This media is also able to create a more active and interactive learning atmosphere, thus helping students understand concepts more deeply.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Pancasila domino card media in fostering students’ critical thinking skills. The research utilized a Research and Development (R&D) design adapted from the Borg and Gall model to suit the study requirements. Data collection was conducted using interviews, observations, questionnaires, and achievement tests. The instruments consisted of validation sheets completed by experts to validity, questionnaires distributed to determine practicality, and pretest–posttest instruments to effectiveness. The subjects of this research were 23 fourth-grade students NU Galur Elementary School, along with 5 students Trayu Elementary School involved in a limited trial phase. The results indicated that the developed media successfully met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective. The validation results showed percentages of 88% from media experts and 96% from material experts, both categorized as very valid. Meanwhile, practicality was demonstrated through positive responses from teachers (95.5%) and students (92.46%), which fell into the very practical category. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the media was reflected in the substantial increase in students’ learning outcomes, with the average score rising from 43.73 in the pretest to 86.66 in the posttest. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test revealed a significance value below 0.001 (<0.05), indicating a meaningful difference between the two tests. In addition, the N-Gain score of 0.76 was classified as high. These findings suggest that the Pancasila domino card media is capable of effectively enhancing students’ critical thinking abilities.
