Abstract

AbstractThe Correlation Between Uric Acid and Lipid Profile in Acute Coronary Syndrome Patient of Sanjiwani Hospital GianyarSeveral studies show that high uric acid levels is linking to the incidence of acute coronary syndromes and dyslipidemia that leads to heart disease. The aim of this study is to determine the association between uric acid and lipid profile in acute coronary syndrome patients of Sanjiwani Hospital Gianyar. Cross-sectional analysis is the type of data analysis that is being used in this study and was conducted at the Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar, with a total of 45 subjects involved. Spearman correlation test showed that there was a significant positive correlation between uric acid levels and Total Cholesterol (TC) (r = 0.467 and p = 0.001). There was a significant positive correlation between uric acid levels and Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) (r= 0.348 and p value = 0.019). There was a significant negative correlation between uric acid levels and High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) (r= -0.445 and p = 0.002). There was no significant correlation between uric acid levels and Triglycerides (TG) (r = 0.232 and p = 0.124). It was also found that more than 50% of subjects had uric acid levels in the high category (53.3%), optimal Total Cholesterol (TC) levels (80%), normal High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) levels (57.8%), and optimal Triglycerides (TG) levels (71.1%). Meanwhile, 46.7% of subjects had optimal Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) levels.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is chronic disease associated with various complications. Measurement of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) can be used as a standard for monitoring and risk indicators for DM complications. Increased levels of Free Fatty Acid (FFA) cause total cholesterol in type 2 DM to increase. Several studies have shown different results regarding the relationship between total cholesterol and HbA1c levels, so researchers are interested in re-examining the correlation of total cholesterol with HbA1c in type 2 DM patients. This research re-examined the correlation of total cholesterol and HbA1c levels in type 2 DM patients. The research was carried out which aimed to determine the correlation of total cholesterol with HbA1c in type 2 DM patients at Tabanan Hospital in the period January 1st – December 31st, 2021. This type of research is cross-sectional analytic observational research from secondary data sources (medical records) taken by consecutive sampling. Then the data was analyzed using the Pearson test through Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). Based on research starting in August-November 2022, samples that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were 54 samples. From these samples, the average total cholesterol level was 225 mg/dl and the average HbA1c level was 8.8%. Pearson correlation test results obtained r = 0.371 (weak positive correlation) and p-value = 0.006, therefore it can be stated that total cholesterol and HbA1c levels have a significant relationship in type 2 DM patients.

Abstract

Lately, undernourished children coexist with toddlers with toddlers who are overnourished. To overcome these obstacles, the government has made various efforts to improve the nutritional status of Indonesian children. One of them is through the KADARZI (Keluarga Sadar Gizi) programme, which is defined as a family's awareness to detect, anticipate, and resolve any nutritional issues in each of its members. This research objective is to examine the association between the application of KADARZI behavior and the nutritional status of young children, using cross-sectional analytical approach. The participants in this research consist of 100 mothers and toddlers who are in the age range of 6 to 59 months, and live in the operational area of Puskesmas Mengwi I Badung. The respondent selection is done by using a consecutive sampling technique. After the data collection procedure was completed, each variable will be processed by using univariate and bivariate methods. Findings from this study reveal that the majority of toddlers are male (59%) in the age range of 36 to 47 months (35%), and do not experience any nutritional issues according to the TB/U and BB/U index (100% and 69%), also BB/TB index (88%). In addition, 54 out of 100 families did not implement the KADARZI behavior comprehensively. According to the result of chi-square analysis, p-value obtained is 0.005 (p ≤ 0.05). It indicates a significant correlation between the application of KADARZI behavior and the nutritional status of toddlers in the operational area of Puskesmas Mengwi I Badung. The value of prevalence ratio (PR) obtained is 9.370 with a 95% confidence interval between range 1.257 to 69.863. After this research is done, it is recommended to enhance collaboration between POKJA (Kelompok Kerja) IV and government institutions to raise public awareness regarding the implementation of KADARZI behavior.

Abstract

Workplace burnout manifests as a psychological syndrome stemming from a protracted reaction to chronic interpersonal stressors. Burnout can lead to long-term fatigue and inability to work. The burnout phenomenon affects occupations of all professions, but a large number of studies show that people with jobs that involve helping others or social workers are particularly vulnerable to burnout. Work motivation is linked to individual behavior in suppressing stress in work situations. Work motivation functions as a form of encouragement that directs a person's behavior in a challenging problem. The present investigation aimed to ascertain the correlation between burnout and work motivation in Civil Servants stationed at the Office of Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, and Residential Areas (DPUPRPKP) of Bali Province. This research is an analytic descriptive research with cross sectional design. The subjects in this study were 150 civil servants at the DPUPRPKP of Bali Province. The sampling technique employed was stratified random sampling. Data manipulation shall be carried out using Microsoft Excel, encompassing both univariate and bivariate analyses. The instruments utilized comprise the Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS) questionnaire to gauge the extent of burnout, alongside the Abraham Maslow Model questionnaire to assess work motivation levels. The findings from this inquiry unveil a significant association between burnout and work motivation (p=0.000), with the correlation coefficient measuring at -0.959. This robust correlation indicates an opposing direction, wherein heightened burnout levels among civil servant correspond to diminished work motivation.
