Abstract

The purpose of the service is to socialize the use of the mind-mapping learning model in social studies learning content. Method of implementation with lectures and discussions. Stages of implementation: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Equipment: laptop, LCD projector, and consumption. Participants: school principals and teachers. Implementation results: the implementation of the socialization was successful through the provision of material on the use of mind mapping models and procedures for using mind mapping models. Implementation of socialization can provide a choice of solutions to solve problems in learning activities by applying the mind-mapping learning model. Socialization activities can facilitate increasing understanding of the use of learning models by educators of the Technical Implementation Unit of the Gili Anyar Bangkalan Public Elementary School Service.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase the understanding, participation and knowledge of the younger generation about politics in the era of general elections, especially students at the Bintang Sembilan Vocational School, Indramayu. This PKM activity carried out visits, Focus Group Discussions, and voting simulations by students. The equipment used is material books, office stationery, boxes and voting simulation paper. Based on the results of the implementation of this service activity, it can be explained that there has been an increase in students' political participation, knowledge, understanding and awareness and they have become more aware of the importance of political participation, both in the general election process and in overseeing regional development.

Abstract

The aim of mentoring scientific articles is to improve the structure and content of articles owned by lecturers or students. The implementation method is face to face for 5 hours using laptop equipment, LCD projector, sound system, materials. Implementation results: the first material regarding the title is written in a maximum of 15 words, the abstract is written briefly and the keywords are written in a maximum of 5 words or phrases. The second material regarding the introduction must explain the specific research objectives and research methods that meet a minimum of 4 qualitative elements and 6 quantitative elements. The third material concerns the results and discussion which must be prepared based on the subject matter and conclusions which must be prepared without repeating the research results. The fourth material is about citations and bibliography which must be prepared by memorizing a form of citation. The overall conclusion was that the implementation of the service was successful and had a positive impact, namely that participants better understood how to write good articles according to national accreditation journal standards.

Abstract

Community service is carried out with the aim of preaching religious values ??to generation-Z in the digital era. Da'wah is carried out using podcast media at the Ash-Shomad mosque in Banten. The results of the dedication show that da'wah through podcast media runs well and smoothly. Material about the importance of religious values ??in generation-Z in the digital era has been conveyed well by the implementers. These values ??are ethics, morals, social relationships, the importance of personal character, self-control, social ethics and so on.

Abstract

The research aims to explain Islamic religious education as a solution in addressing the moral decadence in the millennial era. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing literature review. The results indicate that moral decadence in the millennial era is occurring due to the influence of the advancements in science and technology (Iptek). The development of Iptek has a significant impact, bringing about both positive and negative consequences. Despite its positive effects, the development of Iptek has also raised numerous negative issues, particularly the decline in the morality of the nation's generation (moral decadence). As a result of Iptek's progress, consumeristic, hedonistic, and secularistic attitudes are the embryos of moral decadence in the generation. This is further exacerbated when moral decadence becomes evident among the nation's young students. Threats that may be underestimated by the current generation are related to violence in the educational environment, bullying, conflicts, and sexual harassment, all of which contribute to the moral decadence of the nation. Islamic education plays a crucial role in addressing these issues. Therefore, religious education, being a strategic point in moral development, must reform and reassess its role in addressing these problems. This emphasizes the importance of revitalizing strategies for Islamic religious education to minimize the increasingly concerning moral decadence.

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to enhance teachers' creativity in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in teaching activities. The service method was conducted in-person, utilizing LCD Projectors and sound systems to support workshop activities. The results of the implementation show that teachers have gained an understanding of creating instructional media using Canva and CapCup. This is evident as teachers can operate both AI applications and produce instructional media that are sufficiently good and diverse. In conclusion, the workshop proceeded smoothly as scheduled, providing a positive impact on teachers.

Abstract

The aim of motivational seminars is to build positive character and provide enthusiasm and encouragement to students in achieving their goals and dreams. The service was carried out face to face with a duration of 4 (four) hours at the Mts Rahmania Islamic School, South Tangerang. Participants are students in grades 7, 8 and 9 who are currently referred to as Gen Alfa. The methods used are lectures, discussions and practice individually and in groups. Practices include saying positive words and positive characters, making self-quotes and writing down dreams and aspirations. The equipment used includes: stationery, laptop, LCD projector, microphone and sound system. The seminar material consists of 4 (four) themes; build your positive character, achieve your dreams, you are great and life is beautiful. Service results: the seminar ran satisfactorily based on the results of the impression sheet and messages written by participants and parents.

Abstract

The research aims to explain and describe the role of training programs (diklat) in enhancing teachers' competencies. The research methodology employed is a qualitative literature review. Data collection involves documentation, and data processing includes reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results indicate that pedagogical competence training encompasses teachers' skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and evaluating student learning outcomes, with the goal of enabling teachers to gain a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies. Professional competence training involves teachers' understanding of curriculum development, educational innovation, and profound knowledge of the subjects they teach. Personal competence training for teachers, encompassing emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills, can create a conducive learning environment. Meanwhile, social competence training establishes a positive classroom climate and supports the development of students' character.

Abstract

Thesis writing remains one of the most feared tasks among students, with many lacking an understanding of how to produce a well-structured thesis. This training was conducted to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how to quickly and effectively compose a high-quality thesis. The training employed a PAR (Problem-Action-Result) approach using Zoom meetings, laptops, and educational materials. Training outcomes include: creating a good title involves selecting a relevant and innovative topic, identifying the problem, and crafting a title that reflects both the topic and research methodology. The background section should explain the relevance of the topic, problem context, and literature review to identify research gaps. Research focus should include understanding variables, choosing relevant theories, and determining supporting variables. The literature review involves understanding variables X and Y, research location, and both main and supporting theories. Finally, the research methodology must describe the type and approach of the research, data collection and processing techniques, data validity, and hypothesis testing for quantitative research

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain teacher regulations in enhancing student discipline at SDN Tlonto Raja VIII. The study was conducted qualitatively using a case study approach. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that teacher mastery of regulations is crucial for improving student discipline. Teachers need to understand and implement school, national, and classroom management regulations to create an organized learning environment and foster positive student behavior. Teacher role modeling affects student behavior both in and outside of school. Cooperation among the principal, teachers, and other educational staff is essential for consistent discipline implementation. Regulations include general rules (such as punctuality, uniforms, and prohibition of banned items) and specific rules related to classroom management. The categorization of rules and the application of varying sanctions (light, moderate, severe) support orderliness and effective discipline.
