Abstract

Giving alms is an obligation for all those who are able, directed towards those in need. This community service was conducted to provide a strong understanding to the community about the importance of sharing and to assist those who are economically disadvantaged. The service activity was carried out using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The results of the service included the lecturers delivering material to the community about the importance of alms, the forms of alms, the benefits of giving alms and concluding with the distribution of gifts to the community by the lecturers and students. Conclusion: This community service activity was successfully conducted and had a positive impact on the community, both in terms of their knowledge and their economic situation.

Abstract

Ethics and morals among teenagers are still considered to be low, as evidenced by many of them not adhering to or ignoring the advice of their parents or teachers at school. The goal of this community service is to provide a deep understanding of ethics and morals simultaneously. The service is carried out using the PAR approach with the aid of laptops, LCD projectors, and sound systems. The results show that the activity proceeded very well and was attended by all students present at the service location. The service began with providing specific material on ethics and morals. The students were able to provide good feedback to the presenters and understand the material provided. In conclusion, the community service ran smoothly and had a very positive impact on the students specifically and the school in general.

Abstract

The implementation of character education focused on discipline at MTs Tanwirul Ulum involves the enforcement of school regulations such as morning flag ceremonies, complete uniforms, punctuality, and the active role of guidance counselors in addressing students' behavior that is not yet optimal. The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the support provided by parents and guidance counselors in disciplining students. This research uses a qualitative approach and case study method, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis includes condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that parental support in improving the guidance counseling program and student discipline includes open communication with counselors regarding the child's development and issues, involvement in counseling activities, and creating a conducive learning environment at home. Additionally, parents collaborate with the school through regular meetings with the guidance counselors. In improving student discipline, parents set an example of disciplined behavior, participate in school activities, maintain communication with teachers, provide guidance or reprimands when necessary, offer encouragement, praise achievements, establish clear rules at home, and teach empathy and the importance of discipline in life.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge of educators and education personnel regarding teacher protection using an empowerment-based approach. The activity is conducted in three stages: Preparation, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the preparation stage, the researcher identifies issues and intervention needs based on input from teacher respondents, collects data on teacher victimization cases, schedules activities, and designs webinar promotional materials. The implementation stage involves delivering webinar sessions, including material presentations and interactive discussions. At the end of the session, participants provide feedback through an instrument to assess the webinar and suggest improvements. The evaluation stage focuses on the implementation process and participants' comprehension of the material. The results indicate that 98% of participants positively evaluated the webinar process, 95% rated the material clarity highly, 85% expressed satisfaction with the resource persons' responses and committee services, and 95% reported improved insight into teacher protection issues.

Abstract

The Batch 3 Entrepreneurship Workshop aims to improve participants' entrepreneurial competencies, especially in mastering B2B negotiation skills and affiliate marketing. This workshop was held on November 30, 2024 at STIE Ganesha by the implementation team from LPPM and Ganesha LabPreneur. The method of activity with a PAR approach that includes interactive material delivery, hands-on simulations, and participatory discussions. There were 150 participants from MSME players and students who brought gadget devices. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the material taught, with most participants able to practice negotiation techniques and digital marketing strategies. The implication of this activity is to encourage the development of resilient entrepreneurs who are adaptive to digital market changes and strategic business collaboration. This activity provides a practical reference for future entrepreneurship training.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia contribute 60% of regional income and absorb 97% of the workforce, yet many do not have a Business Identification Number (NIB). This activity aims to support government programs by improving capacity, access to capital, and business legality. The community service activity was conducted at the Market Day of SMK Nusantara, Ciputat, using the Participatory Action Research approach, involving 15 lecturers and students from STIE Ganesha. Results showed: 85% of participants were satisfied, but 40% faced difficulties using OSS, and 30% desired additional sessions. Participants' suggestions included follow-up programs, digital training, longer activity duration, and collaboration with financial institutions. Recommended follow-up includes continued assistance, digital literacy training, extended activity duration, and broader collaboration to strengthen the impact of the community service for business actors.

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to enhance the skills and mastery of teachers in applying differentiated learning at state elementary madrasah 1 Cilegon, Banten. The method of community service used is PAR (Participatory Action Research) with the use of an LCD projector, sound system, and educational props to support differentiated learning activities. The results show that the teachers were able to understand and master differentiated learning. This was proven by the results of simulations and practices conducted by the teachers in applying differentiated learning in the Islamic Elementary class. In conclusion, the training session ran smoothly and successfully had a positive impact on improving the competence of the teachers at state elementary madrasah 1 Cilegon.

Abstract

This study aims to explain and describe the discipline of school principals, its implementation, and its impact on teachers' motivation. The research was conducted qualitatively using a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data processing: condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity: technique triangulation and source triangulation. The research results show that the principal demonstrates excellent performance in motivating teachers, conducting evaluations, serving as a role model, and creating a positive climate. The assessment of handling complaints, classroom supervision, and open communication achieved an average score of 3.87, reflecting good performance, but with room for improvement. Teachers feel that the principal's discipline supports their work, with an average score of 4.0, and they have respect and trust in the principal (score 4.4). However, the score of 3.6 indicates variation in opinions regarding the influence of discipline on teachers' professionalism.
