Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of self-efficacy as a mediator in the influence of achievement and learning interest on the practical ability of engine tune-up in eleventh grade students of the Light Vehicle Engineering Expertise Program at Muhammadiyah Seputih Raman Vocational High School. This study used an ex post facto method with a population of all students totaling eighty-four students and the sampling technique was carried out saturated. The research instrument was prepared in the form of a questionnaire, then tested for validity with product moment correlation and reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient so that the instrument is suitable for use in obtaining data. The results showed that learning achievement has a positive influence on practical ability, as well as learning interest is proven to have a positive influence. Simultaneously, both variables contribute significantly to the practical ability of engine tune-up, while self-efficacy plays an important role in strengthening the relationship between learning achievement and learning interest with students' practical ability, so that the higher the self-efficacy, the more optimal the practical ability achieved..

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between digital transformation factors (innovation culture, digital leadership, and digital transformation of human resources) and organizational resilience in Indonesian higher education institutions. The research method employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach using SmartPLS 4, involving validation of the measurement and structural models through bootstrapping procedures. The findings indicated that all seven hypotheses for direct effects were accepted with statistical significance (p < 0.05), with innovation culture having the strongest influence on organizational adaptive capability (β = 0.356). Mediation analysis confirmed the significant role of organizational adaptive capability as a partial mediator in the transmission of digital transformation's effects on organizational resilience, with indirect effects ranging from 0.079 to 0.108. This study's theoretical contribution enriches the digital transformation literature by validating the dual pathway mechanism and introducing organizational adaptation theory in the context of higher education. Practically, the findings provide a strategic roadmap for higher education institutions to implement a holistic digital transformation strategy by strengthening innovation culture, digital leadership, and human resource digitalization as a foundation for building sustainable organizational resilience.

Abstract

Gender inequality remains a pressing global issue. Amid the rise of social media, microfeminism emerges as a form of digital activism rooted in personal narratives and everyday resistance. This study aims to examine the impact of microfeminist content on gender awareness among Generation Z in Indonesia, with online social engagement and digital social norms as mediation variables. A quantitative explanatory approach was used, involving 384 respondents recruited through purposive sampling. Data were collected via online questionnaires and analyzed using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). The findings indicate that microfeminist content influences gender awareness both directly and indirectly. Online social engagement proved to have the strongest mediating effect, while digital social norms also contributed significantly. These results underscore the importance of participatory interaction and collective norms in shaping gender equality values in digital spaces.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth how gender equality values are integrated into Buddhist Religious Education (PAB) at the junior high school level, based on the Merdeka Curriculum. Through a content analysis approach to character representation, women's roles, language, visual illustrations, access to Dhamma education, gender equality values, role models of female characters, students' critical reflections, and narrative-visual consistency, this study identifies significant gaps in gender representation. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through content analysis of PAB textbooks for grades VII–IX and interviews with three Dharma teachers in Jakarta. The results show that the representation of female characters in the textbooks is very limited and the learning narratives tend to be normative without addressing structural aspects of gender inequality. The findings indicate the dominance of male characters, the lack of functional narratives about nuns and women, and the use of language and illustrations that tend to reinforce traditional gender stereotypes. Although there are attempts to mention gender equality in some chapters, the integration is not comprehensive and consistent across the materials. This article recommends the development of a more inclusive curriculum and teaching materials, encouraging balanced gender representation, and integrating gender equality values holistically in Buddhist religious education to form a more equitable and comprehensive understanding for students, as well as teacher training based on critical pedagogy and revision of learning content to reflect gender equality in Buddhist teachings.

Abstract

This research explores the narrative of racism and violence in Angie Thomas’s novel The Hate U Give. Using a qualitative expressive approach, this study analyzes how the author portrays these issues through the novel’s characters, events, and narrative structure. The findings reveal that the narrative of racism and violence is not only depicted through the direct actions of police brutality and social injustice but also through the internal conflicts experienced by the protagonist, Starr Carter. The study shows that the author uses a first-person narrative to convey the complexity of identity, racial discrimination, and resistance against systemic oppression. The narrative not only exposes the physical violence faced by the black community but also highlights the structural violence that reinforces racial inequality. This research contributes to the understanding of how literature can function as a medium to critique social issues and raise awareness about racial discrimination and violence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of group counseling services using the cognitive therapy technique on improving students’ self-efficacy at MTs Negeri Pematangsiantar. The research was motivated by initial findings that several students had low self-efficacy levels, which negatively impacted their learning motivation. This quantitative research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 16 eighth-grade students with low self-efficacy, divided into an experimental group (8 students) and a control group (8 students), selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a self-efficacy scale with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.975. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney test. The results revealed a significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental and control groups (Asymp. Sig. = 0.005 < 0.05). The experimental group’s mean score increased from 39.375 (low category) to 53.5 (moderate category), while the control group only increased from 40.143 to 44.143 (remaining in the low category). These findings indicate that group counseling services using cognitive therapy are effective in enhancing students’ self-efficacy. The study recommends that school counselors apply this technique sustainably to help students develop positive thinking patterns, increase motivation, and strengthen confidence in facing academic and personal challenges.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of service quality and product quality on marketing performance, with market penetration and product innovation serving as intervening variables in expedition companies. Guided by the Service-Dominant Logic (SDL) framework, the research underscores the role of value co-creation between companies and customers in driving competitive advantage. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from employees involved in operational and marketing functions and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that service quality and product quality do not significantly affect market penetration. Conversely, market penetration positively influences product innovation, which in turn strongly enhances marketing performance. However, when not managed effectively, market penetration can negatively impact marketing performance. These results highlight the need for companies to adopt integrated and innovative strategies that align with customer value creation to achieve sustainable improvements in marketing performance within the expedition industry.

Abstract

This study evaluated drug inventory management in a primary hospital pharmacy using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. A descriptive quantitative design was applied with secondary data collected from January to December 2024, covering annual demand, purchase price, ordering cost, and holding cost. The analysis revealed inefficiencies, as several drugs simultaneously faced overstock and stock out risks, indicating weaknesses in procurement planning. EOQ calculations suggested lower and more frequent procurement, reducing storage costs and improving stock control. The findings demonstrated that applying EOQ could minimize financial risks, optimize resource allocation, and ensure continuous access to essential medicines. This research highlights the relevance of structured inventory models in supporting hospital efficiency and sustainable pharmaceutical logistics, particularly in resource-limited primary hospitals.
