Abstract

This study examines the influence of good governance principles and e-service quality on public satisfaction in using the Mobile JKN application at BPJS Health, Ambon City Branch. The rapid development of digital public services requires government institutions to ensure that technology-based services are supported by effective governance practices. This research aims to analyze how the implementation of good governance and the performance of digital services contribute to users’ perceptions and satisfaction with the Mobile JKN application. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis to assess the relationship between the independent variables and public satisfaction as the dependent variable. The results indicate that good governance has a significant positive effect on public satisfaction (β = 0.421; t = 5.701; Sig. = 0.000), as does e-service quality (β = 0.510; t = 6.909; Sig. = 0.000). Simultaneously, good governance and e-service quality significantly influence public satisfaction, as evidenced by an F-value of 145.328 with a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.861 indicates that 86.1% of the variation in public satisfaction can be explained by the two independent variables, while the remaining 13.9% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings highlight that the integration of sound governance practices and high-quality digital services is essential for improving user satisfaction in technology-based public health services. Strengthening governance mechanisms and continuously enhancing digital service performance are therefore crucial strategies for increasing public satisfaction with the Mobile JKN application.

Abstract

Marriage in Islam is a mitsaqan ghalizhan grounded in honesty and transparency. However, some husbands fraudulently claim to be “single” to conceal an existing marriage, facilitate siri marriages, or evade responsibilities. This study examines the legal construction of such fraud through the concepts of dharar and dhirar, and its implications for a wife’s divorce claim under the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). Using normative legal research with statutory and conceptual approaches, the study analyzes relevant legal norms and Islamic legal principles through a literature review. The findings indicate that false single-status claims are not merely administrative violations, but constitute dharar ma‘nawi (psychological and moral harm) that undermines marital integrity and violates the wife’s rights. In Islamic legal reasoning, this conduct falls under the maxim la dharar wa la dhirar. Juridically, it supports divorce claims through an expanded interpretation of Article 116 (f) and 116 (g) KHI.

Abstract

This study designs and tests the feasibility of a local history-based Social Studies (IPS) module on anti-colonial struggles in Aceh Besar Regency. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the module was developed through the Dick and Carey instructional design model adapted into a modified Borg and Gall procedure (problem identification, design-development, and dissemination). The study involved fifth-grade elementary students in Ingin Jaya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar, with trials conducted in four selected schools. Data were collected through expert validation (content, language, and presentation/design), practitioner assessments, student activity observation, and achievement tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques with percentage and rating-scale interpretation. The module achieved high feasibility, indicated by expert validation results of 86% (language), 88% (content), and 98% (presentation), while practitioner scores ranged from 86% to 97%. The overall feasibility mean was 90.14%, confirming that the module is valid and suitable for classroom implementation.

Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of the CORE learning model—Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending—in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at SMP Negeri 36 Bandar Lampung. The study was conducted in response to students’ relatively low performance in higher-order thinking skills, indicating the necessity for instructional approaches that are more contextual, interactive, and student-centered. A quantitative approach was applied using a quasi-experimental design with a post-test-only control group. The participants consisted of two eighth-grade classes selected through simple random sampling, in which the experimental group was taught using the CORE learning model, while the control group received instruction through conventional teaching methods. Data were collected using a multiple-choice achievement test that had been confirmed to be valid and reliable, with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.834. The results reveal that the CORE learning model significantly improves students’ learning outcomes, particularly in higher-order cognitive domains (C4–C6). The application of the CORE model promotes active participation, collaboration, and reflective learning, thereby enabling students to develop a deeper and more meaningful understanding of Islamic Religious Education concepts. Overall, this study offers both theoretical and practical contributions to the advancement of innovative, twenty-first-century-oriented teaching strategies in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Evidence-Based Policy Making (EBPM) is often presented as a rational and objective policy ideal, yet evidence is not neutral; it is constructed through power relations, interests, and epistemic frameworks. Using Critical Discourse Analysis grounded in social constructivism and Michel Foucault’s theory of power, this study examines poverty alleviation policy in Provinsi Banten. The analysis draws on provincial planning documents (RPJMD/RPD and RKPD), Bappeda Provinsi Banten policy documents, and BPS poverty releases and press statements. Findings identify a recurring EBPM discourse that privileges macro indicators and performance metrics to narrate “progress,” while marginalizing intra-provincial inequality and contested definitions of “the poor.” Evidence therefore does not “speak for itself” but is mediated by values, policy paradigms, and dominant actors’ interests. The article argues for EBPM that integrates ethical and epistemological reflexivity and local context so policy is not only scientific but also fair and inclusive.

Abstract

The increasing use of outsourcing employees in organizations requires strong work engagement to support organizational success, which may be influenced by perceived organizational support. The study aims to assess the contribution of perceived organizational support to work engagement among outsourced employees. A quantitative approach was employed, with a total of 92 outsourced employees selected through total sampling. A simple linear regression approach was applied to analyze the data. The empirical findings indicate that perceived organizational support contributes 54.4% to work engagement. Therefore, companies need to strengthen supervisory support and justice, while continuing to pay attention to rewards and working conditions in order to enhance employees’ engagement to the organization.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that affect Perceived Value (PV) among thrifting behavior. PV is understood as the consumer’s perception of product benefits compared to the sacrifices made, including price, time, and potential risk. The population in this study comprised all consumers who made purchases within the last six months, totaling 1,426 transactions. From this population, 201 respondents were selected using an accidental sampling technique. The analysis method used in this study is exploratory factor analysis with Principal Component Analysis extraction method. The findings revealed six main factors that affect PV based on extraction value, namely personal value (0.701), service value (0.655), shopping experience (0.627), image value (0.619), price (0.571), and perceived risk (0.520). Results indicate that consumers’ PV is more strongly shaped by psychological aspects, shopping experiences, and service quality rather than the physical attributes of products. These findings strengthen the understanding that consumer behavior in thrift stores is not only driven by price, but also by social identity, emotional satisfaction, and positive store image, which can serve as a basis for more targeted marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study examines the use of mind mapping in a collaborative learning model to strengthen Link-and-Match (8+i) partnerships in a Center of Excellence vocational school. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving school leaders and productive teachers in the Light Vehicle Engineering program at SMK Bhakti Loa Janan, Kutai Kartanegara, Indonesia. The findings show that mind mapping functions as an analytical and collaborative tool to visualize key partnership components, including curriculum alignment, guest teachers, internships (PKL), competency certification, teaching factory, and graduate absorption. The mapped analysis reveals that while partnerships with industry are established through MoUs and several programs have been implemented, gaps remain in the consistent application of project-based learning (PjBL), teaching factory utilization, technology updates, and teacher capacity building. Mind mapping supports stakeholders in identifying implementation gaps and prioritizing improvements to enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of industry collaboration in vocational education.
