Abstract

This community development activity aims to help MSMEs penetrate the digital market. Team provided digital marketing training to the home dishwashing soap industry on December 17, 2023, at Gemintang Café and Resto. Fifteen participants, all dishwashing soap producers from Kebumen Regency, attended. The training aimed to increase product sales through lectures, practice sessions, and Q&A. The one-day event covered product photography, online marketing techniques, and market expansion strategies. Participants were highly enthusiastic and actively engaged with the material. They learned to take attractive product photos, identify suitable marketplaces, and use marketing tricks on platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The training also highlighted new cooperation opportunities with agencies and institutions, contingent on having legal and accountable permits.

Abstract

Limited information on higher education for people living in rural areas results in a lack of information about teenagers' interest in continuing their studies to a higher level. This problem causes higher education to experience a decrease in the number of new students every year. The village's advanced economic level does not support the education of its people, so that the average population still has secondary level education. The aim of this community service activity is to provide motivation and education about higher education. The techniques used in this activity are survey, face-to-face and discussion techniques. From educational sharing and discussion activities, it was found that high motivation for higher education was not supported by an attitude of agreeing to continue higher education. Sharing education about higher education at the end provides enlightenment that higher education can be achieved by all levels of society by choosing universities that provide low funding schemes and scholarship schemes.

Abstract

Desa Pedagangan merupakan desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Tiris, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Desa Pedagangan terletak di kaki Gunung Argopuro yang menyimpan kekayaan alam yang berlimpah. Potensi dan daya tarik pada Desa Pedagangan diantaranya hasil pertanian, perkebunan dan peternakan. Populasi desa cukup tinggi sejumlah 5.895 jiwa. Potensi yang tinggi menjadikan desa mempunyai produk UMKM seperti keripik singkong. Pemasaran produk UMKM masih dalam lingkup yang terbatas. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat bertujuan untuk menaikkan lingkup pemasaran UMKM melalui Digital Marketing. Metode yang dipakai menggunakan ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). Pengabdian ini meningkatkan pemahaman edukasi Digital Marketing UMKM di Desa Pedagangan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate use of finger protection PPE in process of sorting plastic glass at SiHatin Waste Bank. The waste sorting process with high risk is the process of cutting plastic cup ring. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach, interviews, and observations to identify problems and find solutions to improve comfort and safety. PPE used for three months was proven to increase safety officers by 80.95%. However, there is discomfort experienced by 18 out of 20 officers due to several factors, namely: precision movements difficulty by 90%, sweat on fingers by 60%, inappropriate size by 45% and skin irritation by 35%. The proposed solutions include using more comfortable materials and ergonomic, setting break times, and training use of PPE to increase its effectiveness. In addition, development of cutting ring tool was developed to reduce the risk of injury and increase worker productivity.

Abstract

Helping the government to solve TB disease, the community service team organized community service activities by providing material about TBC Toss. The activity was carried out on May 27, 2024 in Grogolan Hamlet, Jatimulya Village, Suradadi District, Tegal Regency. This activity provides education to the public related to the Toss TBC program from the government so that people avoid TB disease. The activity is to expose TBC Toss material, lung examination, and correct cough Ethics. The enthusiasm of the community was very pronounced, shown by the many people who asked the dedication team. With this education, it is expected that the incidence of tuberculosis in Tegal Regency can decrease.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the quality of Biru Lancor Batik in Probolinggo by producing print batik and more variation in batik motifs. Batik craftsmen were also given training to improve their knowledge and skills in the batik business. This activity provides positive results in term of increased quality, production capabilities and managing the performance of batik businesses. To achieve a sustainable business, further service can be focused on developing knowledge and skills in processing batik waste, using dyes from environmentally friendly materials such as twigs, leaves, stems and flowers collected from surrounding, creating batik motifs that reflect environmental conservation and creating a work environment that is safer and more comfortable.

Abstract

One effort to control Aedes aedes. mosquitoes is by knowing the entomological index. The entomological index is an indicator of the density of Aedes aegypti larvae in a particular settlement which is an important consideration in determining effective vector control efforts. The success of larva monitoring is seen from the House Index (HI), Container Index (CI), Breteau Index (BI) and Larval Free Rate (ABJ), because these entomological indices are used to monitor the population density of Aedes spp in the spread of the dengue virus. The problem in this service is how to reduce the high number of dengue fever cases. This community service is to determine the larval density of the House Index, Container Index, and Breteau Index. The service methods used are surveys and observations. The results of the larval survey in Pampang subdistrict showed that the HI, CI and BI values ​​in Pampang subdistrict were respectively 26% (DF=4), 14.36% (DF=4) and 27.45 (DF=4) in the density category. moderate, while the larvae free rate (ABJ) is 79%, which still does not meet the Environmental Health Quality Standards standards in an area described as having an ABJ of less than 95%.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) is a place of education that prepares its students to be ready to face the world of work. Drug tests are often carried out targeting prospective employees as a requirement to enter the workplace in an agency. Knowing about drug tests is very important for Vocational High School (SMK) students who will enter the world of work. Education about false positive results in drug tests is very important for SMK students who will enter the world of work. The right education program can increase efforts to prevent false positives in drug tests when entering the world of work for SMK graduates. To increase knowledge related to drug tests and false positive detection, health education is carried out and also a demonstration of drug tests on urine. Before and after education, each student takes a pre-test and post-test through a questionnaire to see the increase in their knowledge. After community service was carried out, with education about drug tests, there was an increase in understanding about drug tests, the drug test process with immunochromatography (ICT) and the detection of false positive results in drug tests.

Abstract

One of the businesses that is affected by changes in times and technology is purun crafts . Based on observations, it shows that the biggest problem with the existence of this business is the inability to access the market in a sustainable manner. On the other hand, there is a limited amount of raw materials taken directly from nature in swamp areas that have been converted into housing, and a limited number of craftsmen. Other problems are related to the availability of skilled labor, product durability and the involvement of creativity in producing the product.

Abstract

The implementation of this community service aims to educate and increase the understanding of the people of Sampe Cita Glugur Rimbun Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency about one way to market a product produced.  This special target in community service seeks to socialize and educate that marketing strategies to introduce products produced by business actors have changed patterns along with the development of technology that continues to increase, including online using the internet network called digital marketing which is interpreted as digital marketing. This method of implementing community service is by making presentations, lectures and questions and answers to the participants.  The topics of the material presented include: what is digital marketing (understanding digital marketing), what facilities can be used as a place for digital marketing, what are the benefits of digital marketing. The results obtained from this community service show that the participants, namely business actors in Sampe Cita Glugur Rimbun Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency can know and understand the concept of digital marketing of a product produced by business actors, in an effort to introduce and market existing products easily, cheaply, quickly and efficiently.
