Abstract

Sidoharjo Village has local potential in the form of abundant cashew fruit, but it is often wasted due to the lack of knowledge and skills of the community in processing it. This condition is both a problem and an opportunity for the economic empowerment of residents, especially housewives. This training activity aims to improve participants' skills and knowledge in processing cashew fruit into high-value snacks. The method applied involves hands-on practice and theory, including material selection, production techniques, and packaging. In addition, participants were also given training on marketing strategies, such as social media utilization and participation in local bazaars. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in participants' skills, with 70% of them successfully selling their products and recording an average income increase of 30-50%. The formation of joint business groups was done to ensure the sustainability of the program and encourage collaboration. The training not only had an impact on improving the family's economy, but also gave participants the motivation and confidence to be active entrepreneurs. Support from the government and local community is needed to expand the impact and ensure the sustainability of this local potential-based micro-enterprise. Overall, the program contributes to the optimization of local resources and strengthening the role of women in the community economy.

Abstract

One phenomenon that really attracts our adult attention in the world of education is bullying. Every year there are always new cases of student behavior which is categorized as deviant behavior, whether carried out deliberately with the intention to weaken the victim, humiliating, and carried out repeatedly so that bullying behavior is considered frightening and commonplace among students. Muhammadiyah, as the oldest religious community organization in Indonesia, has made many contributions to this nation in various fields. Of the many business charities initiated and owned by this association, this is a charity business in the field of education. It is recorded that Muhammadiyah has established many educational institutions in almost all regions of Indonesia totaling 3,334 with details of 1,904 elementary schools, 1,128 junior high schools, 558 high schools, 554 vocational schools, and 172 tertiary institutions consisting of 83 universities, 28 institutes, 54 high schools, 6 polytechnics and 1 academy. This shows that the problem of bullying or bullying is certainly also a classic problem faced by this organization. Therefore, various kinds of efforts are needed in order to overcome and minimize the occurrence of bullying in schools or educational institutions under the auspices of the Muhammadiyah Association. The efforts carried out in this community service program include: outreach about bullying, the trigger factors and its impact on students, and the preparation of a curriculum to create a child-friendly school and eliminate bullying in the school environment. Furthermore, the establishment of a "Character House" was initiated to handle various kinds of actions and impacts of bullying, aimed at victims and perpetrators of bullying.

Abstract

MSMEs in Poreh Village, Lenteng District, Sumenep Regency face challenges in fulfilling business legality and market access, especially related to the lack of understanding of halal certification procedures and low digital literacy in marketing. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of MSME actors through assistance in the halal certification process and digital marketing strategy training. The methods used include socialization of halal regulations, technical training in managing Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and the SiHalal application, and introducing digital platforms for product promotion. The participatory approach involved MBKM students and the Halal Center of Trunojoyo University, Madura. The activity significantly increases business actors’ understanding of halal certification procedures. Two MSME actors succeeded in obtaining halal certificates through the self-declare scheme after following all stages. In addition, business actors began implementing digital marketing strategies by creating business social media accounts, uploading product content, and reaching consumers outside the village area. Reflections from the activity showed that the combination of practical training and intensive mentoring effectively increased the awareness, skills, and motivation of MSME actors in increasing product competitiveness. Major obstacles, such as low digital literacy and the absence of business legality, were successfully overcome through direct assistance and technical simulations. This activity proves that integrating halal certification and digital marketing is a relevant, applicable, and sustainable empowerment strategy in developing village MSMEs

Abstract

This community engagement program aims to enhance the understanding and capacity of teachers and parents in developing a child-friendly learning environment in Manyar District, Gresik. The main issue addressed is the lack of knowledge regarding Child-Friendly School (CFS) principles and the persistence of non-humanistic educational practices. A participatory seminar method was employed, combining educational and reflective approaches across three key sessions: material delivery, case discussions, and the development of school-based action plans. The results indicated a significant increase in participants’ understanding, with post-test scores improving by 37.4% compared to pre-tests. Furthermore, 86.7% of participants developed follow-up action plans, and two partner schools implemented safe zones and children’s expression corners in classrooms. This program demonstrates that collaborative educational strategies are effective in promoting school ecosystems that respect children’s rights and support their holistic development.

Abstract

Mayangan Village has great potential in the catfish cultivation sector; However, low selling value and dependence on local markets result in unstable farmers' incomes. This problem needs to be overcome so that the community can improve their economic welfare. Therefore, community empowerment activities are carried out through training on the processing of halal catfish shredded fish as a value-added product. The purpose of this activity is to provide skills to housewives in a hygienic production process and in accordance with halal principles, so that they can increase family income. The method used is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach, which emphasizes the utilization of local potential and active community participation. These activities include the identification of potential natural and human resources, as well as technical training in product processing and marketing. The results of this activity showed that participants were able to understand and carry out the production process of shredded catfish independently. With these new skills, it is hoped that the community can develop sustainable businesses, increase income, and expand the product market to a wider area. This program is expected to be an empowerment model that can be replicated in other areas with similar conditions.

Abstract

Setiap wilayah suatu daerah selalu menyimpan potensi Aset yang sangat besar sekali, begitu juga dengan desa Tanggul Rejo Manyar Gresik. Setiap aset yang dimiliki suatu daerah dalam kenyataan belum seluruhnya dapat dimanfaatkan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Kegiatan pendampingan di desa Tanggul Rejo dengan pemanfaatan ikan gatul yang selama ini terabaikan menjadi suatu potensi yang dapat menjadikan sumber ekanomi bagi masyarakat sekitar bahkan menjadi rantai perekonomian bagi masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Pendekatan Asset Base Community Development atau lebih dikenal dengan metode ABCD dalam mengeplorasi aset yang terpendam menjadikan perubahan tatanan sosial dan bahkan tatanan ekonomi menjadi lebih baik. Pendampingan bagi ibu- ibu rumah tangga di desa Tanggul Rejo telah menciptakan pemanfaatan sumber-sumber perekonomian yang dapat menjadikan salah satu sumber alternatif dalam pengelolaan ikan gatul menjadi lebih bermafaat melalui pengenalan dan pengungkapan aset yang terpendam. Pengungkapan aset yang terpendam dalam Forum Group Diskusi mengapresiasikan mimpi- mimpi sukses yang pernah dialami oleh msyarakat desa Tanggul Rejo Manyar Gresik akan menjadi suatu kenyataan melalui pengungkapan kesuksesan yang pernah dialami oleh masyarakat sebelumnya

Abstract

Merawat kecantikan bagi setiap kaum hawa merupakan kegiatan yang setiap hari hamper pasti dilakukan. Kegiatan tersebut merupakan bagian dari mempercaya diri dalam setiap penampilan. Dalam suatu kenyataan kebanyakan bagi setiap remaja putri dan ibu-ibu rumah tangga pengetahuan tentang hal perawatan wajah atau lebih dikenal dengan merias wajah diperoleh dari pengalaman dari teman, atau melihat di media masa. Pendampingan yang dilakukan bagi ibu-ibu dan remaja di desa Terjan Kragan Rembang telah memberikan pemahaman dan perubahan dalam kreatifitas merias wajah dan perawatan diri untuk kehidupan sehari-hari. Pemahaman merias wajah bukan sekedar merawat wajah, atau mempercanti diri namun juga sebagai bagian dari usaha kreatif untuk membuka usaha baru dalam bidang salon kecantikan. Kegiatan pendampingan dalam perawatan kecantikan melalui pelatihan telah menimbulkan efek positif dalam kehidupan rumah tangga yang lebih baik dan lebih harmonis dalam kehidupan keluarga. Pemanfaatan bahan- bahan alami yang diperoleh dari lingkungan sehari-hari telah menjadi bagian dalam perawatan kecantikan secara tradisional sejak nenek moyang tetap dilestarikan

Abstract

Maksimalisasi sebuah aset yang dimiliki oleh suatu desa, merupakan sebuah hal yang masih jarang dilakukan. Oleh karena itu pendampingan ini dilakukan dalam upaya untuk menjadikan potensi yang ada di suatu daerah lebih maksimal, dari benda yang dianggap sudah tidak bermanfaat menjadi benda yang lebih bernilai ekonomis. Sehingga potensi tersebut bisa menjadikan masyarakat sekitarnya menjadi lebih mapan dan sejahtera secara ekonomi. Pendampingan penyadagunaan aset ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan ABCD (Asset Base Community Development) dengan beberapa tahapan antara lain: Preparing; Discovery; Dream; Define; Design; dan Destiny. Adapun langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam upaya meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Kranji Kecamatan Paciran Kabupaten Lamongan melalui Home industri dengan aset kain Perca, yaitu: kegiatan sosialisasi dan koordinasi; kegiatan wawancara; membentuk forum diskusi; pendampingan produksi; pendampingan pemasaran/marketing; dan pendampingan pemodalan. Hasil produk dari bahan kain Perca sangat bermacam-macam. Misalnya: kotak spidol; kotak pensil; keset; aneka hiasan dan media pembelajaran. Dengan program dampingan ini, diharapkan masyarakat akan selalu tergerak untuk lebih berinovasi memanfaatkan peluang dan aset lokal yang dimiliki sehingga ada sumbangsih ekonomi bagi masyarakat demi masa depan yang lebih sejahtera.

Abstract

Assistance for prospective madrasah diniyah teachers is part of the process of preparing cadres in Islamic symbols in the archipelago of the Republic of Indonesia. The mentoring that was carried out within a period of 1 month has inspired the students who have studied at the Madrasah Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat Lamongan. Learning through the sorogan, bandongan and batsul masa'il approaches is not just classical learning, but a lot of philosophical principles are obtained in the formation of the souls of students who are polite, tawadu' and have good character. Mentoring which aims to equip prospective madrasah diniyah teachers in both material and religious abilities also equips prospective teachers to have an educator spirit in conveying knowledge in the community. Ability testing is carried out in the sorogan, bandongan and discussion method approaches or better known as batsul masa'il. The results obtained in the mentoring activity are that prospective students have met the standards both in the ability to read the salafi book and the ability to convey the contents contained in the yellow book. The ability to study and read the yellow book is a must for every santri who will serve as a madrasah diniyah teacher.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sumber belajar penting dilakukan. Pengelolaan sumber belajar yang baik dapat membantu pembelajar untuk menggunakan sumber belajar dengan mudah dan mencapai tujuan belajarnya. Artikel ini menjelaskan proses pendampingan komunitas pengurus asrama dalam mengelola sumber belajar di Asrama Putri Pesantren Sunan Drajat Lamongan. Di pesantren ini tersedia perpustakaan dan mengizinkan mahasiswa menggunakan gadget dalam waktu terbatas. Pengelolaan sumber belajar dapat membantu mereka menggunakan sumber belajar digital dan non- digital secara efektif. Pendampingan ini menggunakan pendekatan Asset- Based Community Development (ABCD). Kegiatan pendampingan meliputi: komunikasi awal, identifikasi mimpi, merancang langkah, menentukan tujuan dan implementasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa identifikasi aset mendorong anggota komunitas menyadari kekuatan aset. Mereka punya mimpi. Mereka dapat membuat rencana dan merancang prosedur untuk mencapainya. Mereka menetapkan tujuan dan mulai memberdayakan komunitas. Mereka siap menjadi fasilitator dan motivator sebaya untuk mengoptimalkan pengelolaan sumber belajar di pesantren. Pendampingan ini bisa menjadi kegiatan pengembangan berkelanjutan dan melibatkan lebih banyak anggota komunitas.
