Jurnal Pengabdian Pendidikan Masyarakat (JPPM) merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh LP3M Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo. Jurnal Pengabdian Pendidikan Masyarakat (JPPM) bertujuan untuk mempublikasikan artikel hasil kegiatan pengabdian dan pemberdayaan di masyarakat yang menerapkan berbagai bidang ilmu diantaranya pendidikan, teknik, pertanian, sosial humaniora, komputer dan kesehatan. <![CDATA[Kegiatan safari ramadhan ini dilaksanakan di masjid Al-falah Dusun Rantau Pandan kec. Rantau Pandan Kab. Bungo. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar masyarakat dapat memahami makna dan hakikat imsak dalam berpuasa, selain itu masyarakat juga mengerti tentang pentingnya pengendalian diri dan hawa nafsu agar tidak terjadi perbuatan yang tidak diinginkan dan dapat merugikan orang banyak. Metode pelaksanaan PKM yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah dengan menyampaikan isi materi, metode tanya jawab dilakukan setelah selesai menyampaikan isi ceramah dan metode Praktek atau latihan, dimana masyarakat mengimplemantasikannya pada puasa ramadhan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang makna dan hakikat imsak dalam berpuasa, Dan juga meningkatkan kualitas iman dan takwa tentang tujuan hidup manusia yang sebenarnya. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan survei, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pembuatan laporan. Sasarannya adalah seluruh masyarakat dusun rantau pandan khususnya jamah Masjid Al-Falah. Kegiatan ini akan terus dilanjutkan pada ramadhan berikutnya dengan tema yang berbeda dan lebih menarik lagi, agar kedepannya kita mengerti bahwa tujuan dari hidup ini adalah hanya untuk mengabdikan diri kepada Allah SWT.]]>

<![CDATA[Gombengsari digital home website is a technology-based tourism system that is integrated with MSMEs, lodging and travel agencies. This system is the result of the collaboration of the matching fund activities of a team of lecturers and students at STIKOM PGRI Banyuwangi with Pokdarwis Gombengsari as the coordinator of tourism, MSMEs, lodging and travel agencies in Gombengsari. The existence of this system is intended to provide solutions to the problems of Pokdarwis Gombengsari which have difficulty in introducing tourism potential, MSMEs, lodging and travel agencies in Gombengsari to local and international tourists. After the system was completed, another problem arose, namely that human resource knowledge related to the use of technology and digital information was still lacking. The gombengsari digital home website that has been created has never been updated. To overcome this, we as system developers will carry out community service activities, especially to the Gombengsari pokdarwis regarding how to use and operate the Gombengsari digital home website admin. The technical implementation of the service is devoted to conducting socialization, training and practicum to prospective gombengsari digital home web admins. In the implementation of training and practice, prospective gombengsari digital home web admins are provided with a manual for using the gombengsari digital home website. The results obtained during the Gombengsari digital home web admin training service activities are that the Gombengsari Pokdarwis already has a special operator that handles and manages the Gombengsari digital home website.]]>

<![CDATA[This service activity aims to socialize the competence of Continuous Professional Development (PKB) for elementary school teachers. The method of implementing this activity is by using lectures and discussions. The activity was carried out at SD Negeri 90/II Muara Bungo. The results of the evaluation of service activities show that the implementation of service activities is able to provide solutions to existing problems of 3.5% in the very good category. participants' satisfaction with the delivery of material that meets their needs is 3.35%. Satisfaction with the PkM implementation method is 3.64% with very good criteria. Overall satisfaction in implementing this PkM is 3.21% with good category. Thus, service activities make teachers increase their knowledge and abilities in preparing Continuing Professional Development (PKB) in the form of classroom action research, changing research results in scientific journal articles. In addition, the teacher's ability is also able to find and examine scientific references well.]]>

<![CDATA[Literacy is a person's ability to understand information processed through reading and writing activities. The results of a study conducted by Alibaca obtained that the National Literacy Index is included in the category of low literacy activity, including the province of North Sumatra with a value of 35,73. To improve the literacy of the community which is still low, the introduction of literacy must be done from an early age in addition to habituation, the introduction of literacy from an early age also provides many benefits, one of which is that children are easier to process, receive and respond to all information he receives. One way to foster an interest in early childhood literacy is to use the Ice Cream Educational Game Tool (APE). This community service is located in Botung village, precisely in Najihah Kindergarten. The purpose of this community service is to foster an interest in early childhood literacy. The method used participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The implementation of this service is carried out through four stages, namely: analysis of the situation, program planning, implementation, and evaluation. After this community service activity was carried out, the results were obtained that by using the Educational Game Tool (APE) ice cream the interest in early childhood literacy in Botung village increased.]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Service activity aims to improve the quality and motivation of mathematics learning, especially the addition and subtraction of integers for PKBM Budi Luhur Pekaja Banyumas students. This learning activity is carried out offline at the beginning of the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year by involving 7 (seven) graders. The learning method used is lectures and demonstrations of the use of teaching aids called 'algebra boards'. Algebra board teaching aids are concrete teaching aids resulting from the development of semi-concrete teaching aids, namely the number line that is used to explain the addition and subtraction of integers. The evaluation of the success of the learning activity results is based on the pre-test and post-test scores given to students before and after using the algebra board props. The results of the evaluation showed that the average score of students increased by 64.7% for the material of adding integers and 39.1% for the material of subtracting integers.]]>

<![CDATA[The Teaching Campus program is a form of Freedom to Learn Campus Merdeka, which provides opportunities for students to become partners of elementary and secondary school teachers who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Public Elementary School 091640 Bandar Masilam Simalungun Regency is one of the targeted schools for the campus teaching program batch 3 of 2022 due to experiencing learning loss during the pandemic. Students who experience learning loss have low literacy and numeracy skills, some are even unable to read at all. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The teaching campus program at SDN 091640 Bandar Masilam consists of activities to improve literacy and numeracy, teacher and school administration, technology adaptation, character development according to Pancasila values, and environmental health education. With the teaching campus program from February to June 2022, there has been an increase in students' literacy skills, numeracy skills. The existence of a reading corner makes students who have not been able to write and read at all be able to write and read fluently. The results of the class minimum competency assessment (AKM) were also very satisfying. In addition, school administration is getting more organized, implementing various online learning media applications, using electronic media in learning, as well as a clean and healthy school environment as a follow-up to school environmental health education. The Teaching Campus has provided space for students to contribute as agents of change/innovators so that it has a positive impact on all elements involved in the school environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic has changed various aspects of human life today, especially in the world of education. This pandemic era requires all elements of education to adapt in carrying out learning activities at the elementary, junior high, high school up to university levels. This study aims to review the strategy for implementing KKN for STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, community service activities regarding optimization strategies for the implementation of KKN are considered important for field supervisors. The method used in the implementation of community service is the lecture and discussion method. Activities are carried out in the following stages: 1) preparation of the required documents, 2) implementation of activities, and 3) evaluation of the achievement of objectives. The results of this activity are as follows: 1) preparation of required documents, 2) implementation of activities, and 3) evaluation of goal achievement. The results of this activity are as follows: 1) the required documents are completed according to plan, 2) the activity is attended by all KKN DPLs, and 3) KKN DPLs are very enthusiastic in receiving an explanation of the concept of optimizing the implementation of KKN and 4) KKN DPL gain knowledge about strategies for optimizing the implementation of STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo KKN during the Covid 19 period.]]>

<![CDATA[Health promotion is the process by which a community makes efforts to improve its ability to optimize the factors that affect health. In addition to positive impacts, advances in science and technology in the pharmaceutical industry also have negative impacts, one of which is obtaining, using, storing, and disposing of drugs in the wrong way. “Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, Buang” (DAGUSIBU) is a Drug Awareness Family Movement initiated by the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) in an effort to provide public understanding and awareness of the correct use of drugs. This community service was carried out with the aim of socializing and educating the housewives' community group in Dau sub-district, Malang Regency, about DAGUSIBU. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest and posttest with active and participatory learning methods through door-to-door socialization activities with media leaflets. The results show that most respondents are aged 31–35 years (23.8%), and the distribution of DAGUSIBU drug knowledge among respondents has increased by 66.6% after socialization and education activities.]]>

<![CDATA[Kondisi kini menunjukkan bahwa materi uji kompetensi atas skema sertifikasi dari Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Pihak ke-3 (LSP P3) Perdagangan dan Ritel Semarang belum aktual mengakibatkan potensi tidak relevan penguasaan kompetensi dalam dunia kerja. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk penyusun materi uji kompetensi pada LSP P3 Perdagangan Riset secara valid dan aktual. Pendampingan yang dilakukan tidak saja memberikan pemahaman namun juga motivasi untuk melakukan peningkatan kualitas uji kompetensi secara umum. Pendampingan dilakukan pelatihan teknis, evaluasi dan pengawasan untuk mengefektifkan materi uji yang akan divalidasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari Maret sampai September 2022 dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan mencapai tujuan menyusun lima materi uji kompetensi baru. Selain itu, pemahaman proses validasi materi uji kompetensi yang meningkat dapat mendukung proses telaah materi uji kompetensi yang telah disusun agar lebih berkualitas. Kegiatan yang sama dapat memperhatikan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara ekstensif untuk memudahkan proses kerja sekaligus pendampingan secara intensi.]]>
