Abstract

A low understanding of digital financial management, the risks of online fraud, and the legal aspects of digital transactions prompted the Community Service Program themed “Smart Finance, Risk-Free: Workshop on Financial and Digital Legal Literacy for PKK Mothers in Sui Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency.” The main objective of this activity is to enhance the understanding and skills of PKK mothers in managing finances digitally in a safe and efficient manner, to raise awareness about the dangers of online fraud and prevention methods, and to provide knowledge about personal data protection and digital legal aspects. The method used is an interactive workshop that includes material presentation, discussions, and hands-on practice with financial applications. The targeted outcomes include an increase in participants' understanding, as measured by pre-test and post-test results, with a minimum improvement of 20% in financial literacy and 15% in digital legal literacy. Additional outcomes include documentation of the activities in the form of a video uploaded to online mass media platforms and the publication of the results in a scientific journal on PKM. This program equips participants to be able to optimally utilize digital technology and avoid financial and legal risks.

Abstract

Office activities are closely related to various equipment needed. Office Stationery (ATK) is an important need that must be met for an agency and its use needs to be properly supervised because it acts as the main supporting facility in carrying out the administration process. The ATK inventory management system at PLN PUSHARLIS has been computerized, but there are still several weaknesses in terms of data input and preparation of inventory reports so that there is no automation process and there is no certainty of recording accuracy. This project aims to (1) Determine the initial condition of office stationery inventory management, (2) Design and create an application, and (3) Implement the application at PT PLN PUSHARLIS Main Office. This project uses the waterfall method. Data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation and conducting interviews, and are supported by data obtained from actual field conditions. The application is designed and created using Microsoft Excel Visual Basic. This application has several main features in the form of a goods database, interactive dashboard, recording of incoming and outgoing goods, and automatic reporting of goods inventory. Based on the test results using the blackbox testing method and supported by the results of the usability testing questionnaire, the application runs well without any errors and can be used as a tool in managing office stationery more efficiently. In addition, the informative interface makes this application easy to understand and use by users.

Abstract

Adoption of digital financial services has the potential to empower women farmers and increase their financial inclusion. This community service provides simple digital financial literacy to women farmer groups (KWT) in Durian Demang Village through socialization, training, and introduction of the SiApik application. The training includes digital money management, online security, digital payments, savings, investments, loans, insurance, as well as fraud prevention and digital budgeting. Participants were enthusiastic because they actively managed household and group finances. However, the digital literacy gap is still a challenge. With the support of appropriate financial products and the right policies, simple digital finance can significantly improve the financial management skills of women farmers.

Abstract

This activity was motivated by the low level of understanding and skills among high school students in managing personal finances, which may hinder their preparedness to face future financial challenges. School cooperatives, as platforms for student economic activities, play a strategic role in enhancing students’ financial literacy and planning capabilities. The primary objective of this program was to provide effective financial planning training, enabling students to manage their personal finances wisely and prepare for a better future. The method employed was a participatory training approach, actively involving students in both theoretical and practical sessions, including budgeting, saving, and basic investing. Data were collected through pretest and posttest questionnaires to measure the improvement in students’ understanding, as well as through observations during the training sessions. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ financial knowledge and skills, as evidenced by an increase in the average percentage of correct answers from 67% in the pretest to 84% in the posttest. Therefore, the training proved effective in equipping students with fundamental financial management skills that support their independence and readiness for future financial responsibilities.

Abstract

Jembar Wangi Village, located in Tomo District, Sumedang Regency, West Java, holds significant potential as a center for gedong gincu mango production. However, a large volume of rejected mangoes that do not meet market standards leads to environmental problems due to fruit spoilage. This study aims to identify solutions for processing rejected mangoes through community empowerment based on micro-enterprises. The methods employed include community service by university students (KKN) and training programs funded by the 2024 DRTPM PKM Grant and the 2025 Competitive Grant from Sangga Buana University. The training covered mango chip production, packaging, business administration, and marketing. The results indicate an increase in production capacity through the provision of equipment such as vacuum fryers, slicing machines, and storage facilities. Furthermore, active participation of local women’s groups in the production process increased significantly. The discussion focuses on community empowerment—particularly among women farmers—and the challenges in marketing, which still rely on conventional methods. Product development strategies involving digital marketing (e-commerce and village websites) and trademark registration show potential to expand market reach and strengthen local product identity. This program has had a positive impact on women's economic empowerment and has contributed to sustainable community welfare. The findings can serve as a replicable model for local economic empowerment in other.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strengthening of MSMEs that have a positive impact on the environment in Batusari Village through collaborative training focused on sustainable economic development. In this context, strengthening MSMEs involves local entrepreneurs, village governments, and local communities, with the aim of increasing understanding and capabilities in running businesses that are oriented towards environmental sustainability. The training programme covers increasing awareness of environmentally friendly technology, sustainable business management plans, and the importance of cooperation in local economic development. For the research approach, a qualitative method with a case study design was used in Batusari Village, as this area has great potential in the SME sector that needs to be strengthened with environmentally friendly principles. The research results indicate that this training is effective in improving the management and technical skills of SME actors, as well as strengthening the relationship between business actors and the village government. These findings provide an important perspective for the development of more effective SME empowerment policies in other places, as well as encouraging the implementation of similar programmes that can support sustainable economic development in local communities.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) among school-aged children in Indonesia faces significant challenges, as found: the low awareness of PHBS at SDN 16 Benteng Jaya, Batu Bara Regency. The objective of this activity is to identify, and formulate efforts to address school environmental health issues to enhance students' knowledge about personal and environmental hygiene. The method includes coordination with the school authorities, socialization of PHBS to 32 students in grades 4 and 5, assistance in problem identification through a Panel Discussion with the principal and teachers, and evaluation of students' knowledge using pre-test and post-test. The results of problem priority identification using the Bryant method show "damaged sanitation facilities and unclean school environments" as the main issue with the highest score. The improvement efforts include increasing cleaning staff, developing hygiene SOPs, repairing infrastructure, allocating special budget, planting natural fences, and providing continuous PHBS education. The evaluation shows an average increase in student knowledge scores from 4.78 to 8.75 after socialization, indicating significant 83% improvement in understanding PHBS. This program increased students' awareness, knowledge and encouraged positive attitudes.

Abstract

This community service initiative conducted an OBS Studio workshop to enhance teenagers' technological competencies in broadcasting and multimedia production. With the rapid growth of digital content creation, many youths in Pontianak lack technical skills to produce quality content. The workshop aimed to: (1) introduce OBS Studio's basic functions, (2) develop practical streaming and recording skills, and (3) foster creativity in multimedia production. Using hands-on training methods, 30 participants learned scene composition, audio-visual configuration, and live streaming techniques through direct practice and mentoring. Results showed significant skill improvement, with participants successfully creating basic broadcasts and expressing interest in content creation. The activity also formed a peer-learning community for ongoing development. This program demonstrates the importance of digital skills training for youth empowerment in the creative economy era.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting the Indonesian economy; however, they continue to face fundamental challenges, particularly in financial management and digital marketing strategies. These issues are also encountered by the partner of this community engagement program, Dodol Al Arabi in Samarinda City, which has been operating conventionally without systematic financial recording, a written business plan, or digital-based promotional strategies. This program aims to strengthen the business capacity of the partner through the improvement of financial management and the optimization of digital marketing. The methods applied include socialization, training, workshops, individual mentoring, and evaluation. The interventions cover the implementation of a basic bookkeeping system, the development of a written business plan based on the Business Model Canvas (BMC), and assistance in utilizing digital media for product promotion. The results indicate that the partner is now able to conduct financial recording in a more systematic manner, calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and design a more structured business plan. In addition, the partner has begun to utilize social media platforms for product promotion, although further mentoring is required to ensure consistency and professionalism. Overall, this program provides tangible contributions to strengthening the managerial and marketing capacity of the partner while potentially generating broader socio-economic impacts, such as the creation of new job opportunities, the reinforcement of local supply chains, and the preservation of Samarinda’s traditional culinary heritage. This program also offers novelty by integrating financial management strategies and digital marketing into real implementation at the micro-business level based on local products.

Abstract

Dragon fruit downstreaming through farmer empowerment is one of the important strategies in increasing added value and competitiveness of agricultural products in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This research aims to identify challenges and opportunities in the downstream process of dragon fruit through farmer empowerment by utilizing digital technology. This approach emphasizes the use of smart technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, and automation to improve production efficiency, distribution, and market access for dragon fruit farmers. Through digitally integrated supply chain optimization, it is expected that farmers can be more empowered in managing crops, improving product quality, and expanding access to local and international markets. The results showed that with technological innovation, farmers have great potential to increase productivity and competitiveness of dragon fruit products in the global market. However, the implementation of this technology also faces challenges, especially in terms of farmers' digital literacy and technological infrastructure. Therefore, collaboration between the government, academia, and the private sector is needed to provide assistance and training to farmers in order to optimize the use of technology in the agricultural sector
