The Dharma Andalas Community Service Journal is a Community Service Journal published by the LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service) Dharma Andalas University. Is a scientific journal from the results of community service activities (PkM) lecturers. This journal is packed densely and contains, so that it is easily understood by readers from academia and the general public. This journal is an implementation of research results. Abstract

Generasi muda yang baik akan menghasilkan bangsa yang baik pula. Perkembangan zaman yang sudah semakin maju akan mempengaruhi kehidupan penerus generasi. Mencermati berbagai perubahan yang dibawa oleh revolusi industry 4.0 menuju era society 5.0 serta tuntutan kemajuan abad 21 dapat diidentifikasi bahwa untuk menghadapinya setidaknya diperlukan kecakapan yang berhubungan dengan fleksibilitas dan inisiatif adaptif serta kecakapan diri secara social dalam interaksi serta bertanggungjawab (Trilling& Fadel, 2009). Ini menjelaskan untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan yang terjadi di abad 21, maka hard skill atau pengetahuan melalui core subject dalam kurikulum saja tidaklah cukup, tetapi harus dilengkapi dengan berbagai kemampuan yang dapat mengaktualisasikan dan mengorganisir berbagai hard skill pada masing-masing individu dalam suatu keteraturan sistematik pada pencapaian suatu tujuan seperti kemampuan kreatif, berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, komunikasi dan berkarakter kuat serta manajemen waktu. Kemampuan inilah yang disebut dengan soft skill. Memberikan generasi Z atau I-Generation tantangan tentunya tidak semudah yang dibayangkan, banyak tantangan yang harus dilalui oleh para generasi ini untuk membentuk karakter mereka agar memiliki jiwa fleksibel yang bisa mmeberikan berbagai pemikiran untuk mengwujudkan cita-cita negara. Peran pemuda yang sentral dalam pembangunan nasional apalagi menjelang puncak bonus demografi tahun 2030, pemuda yang jumlahnya mencapai 64,19 juta jiwa bisa sangat menentukan keberlanjutan pembangunan ekonomi bangsa. Hasil dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah, berdasarkan identifikasi terhadap kurikulum yang ada sekarang ini, penting sekali para siswa untuk mendapatkan pelatihan dan Pendidikan yang lebih mendalam terhadap pengembangan soft skill dan hard skill untuk pembentukan karakter entrepreneur bagi generasi muda.

Abstract

Peningkatan pengetahuan dan informasi teknologi dalam masyarakat menuntut perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama di bidang pendidikan. Meskipun teknologi informasi telah berkembang pesat, metode pembelajaran konvensional masih dominan. Akses teknologi, terutama internet, telah membuka peluang baru dalam pendidikan, memungkinkan pembelajaran daring yang fleksibel. Pendidikan saat ini tidak terlepas dari perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK), namun tidak semua anak memiliki akses yang sama terhadap pendidikan. Panti asuhan menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi anak-anak yang membutuhkan pengasuhan di luar keluarga Kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan internet secara efektif di Panti Asuhan Putra Darul Ma’arif Al Karimiyah Padang dilakukan melalui dua sesi. Sesi pertama berfokus pada penjelasan tentang cara memanfaatkan internet dalam pembelajaran daring, sementara sesi kedua melibatkan tanya jawab dan kuis untuk memastikan pemahaman materi. Tim PKM turun langsung ke lapangan untuk memberikan pelatihan, namun beberapa kendala teknis seperti keterbatasan perangkat dan jaringan internet menyulitkan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Meskipun demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada siswa Panti Asuhan tentang penggunaan internet dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Counseling or counseling on gastrointestinal disorders by pharmacists can include a variety of services that focus on pharmaceutical aspects and drug management. Pharmacists play an important role in ensuring patients receive optimal pharmaceutical care in a home environment known as Home Care, in accordance with the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi vision and mission of Universitas Dharma Andalas which makes its students Interpreneur. The purpose of this service is for students to be able to develop interpreneurship talents in themselves, with counseling and education techniques that will later become provisions when graduating into business opportunities and are able to create jobs. This counseling was carried out at SMK Kartika 1-2 and SMK Pratama Padang. It is hoped that through this counseling, students will be wise in managing their own health, especially those related to gastrointestinal disorders

Abstract

The Faculty of Law at Dharma Andalas University will conduct a community service activity in the form of a legal education campaign focusing on "Stop Bullying" to create a bullying-free school environment. This campaign aims to raise awareness about bullying, which is a repetitive aggressive behavior intended to harm or weaken individuals who are physically or mentally weaker. Bullying can occur physically, verbally, socially, or even online. According to data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) and the Federation of Indonesian Teachers' Unions (FSGI), bullying cases in schools are on the rise, underscoring the urgency for preventive measures. The campaign will be conducted through lectures using laptops and projectors at several schools in Pesisir Selatan. This program aims to help school communities better understand and take preventive actions against bullying, thereby fostering a safe and conducive learning environment for students.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang cara swamedikasi tanaman hias beracun pada masyarakat kelurahan Piai tangah, kecamatan Pauh, kota Padang dalam bentuk penyuluhan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam 3 tahap selama 1 bulan. Tahap persiapan yang terdiri dari rapat dengan pihak terkait, penyusunan proposal, dan survey ke lokasi telah dilakukan. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pelaksanaan yang merupakan agenda utama, antara lain penyuluhan. Dari kegiatan pengabdian ini, diharapkan masyarakat di SD N 11 Padang kelurahan Piai tangah, kecamatan Pauh, kota Padang memperoleh edukasi pertolongan pertama keracunan tanaman hias yang tepat sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai swamedikasi di saat mendesak. Kesimpulan; Adanya kesesuaian materi dengan kebutuhan warga kelurahan Piai tangah, adanya respon yang positif dari peserta mengingat kegiatan pengabdian merupakan kebutuhan warga dalam rangka peningkatan kesehatan terutama pada pemilik tanaman hias beracun. Sebanyak 75% peserta telah memahami masalah terpapar tanaman hias beracun, cara pertolongan pertama yang tepat, dan pengobatan yang dapat diberikan di sekolah

Abstract

Green View Lake Singkarak is one of the tourist attractions located in Solok regency, West Sumatra with a breathtaking and interesting view with view of the mountains and Lake Singkarak that stretches widely, the number of tourists who visit this place is still small due to the lack of information spread on social media (Sosmed) such as Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok. So far, the dissemination of information about the beauty of this tourist attraction has only come from tourists who have visited this place. This community service was carried out by the Lecturer Team of Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang to increase the number of visitors to this tourist attraction so that people with a sales business and lodging around Green View Lake Singkarak can increase their income. After conducting socialization and training for the community who participate as participants in this service, they can use social media well by making content videos and other information about the natural beauty of Green View Lake Singkarak.

Abstract

Founding at the MSME Sus Tenun Lintau located in Jorong Seroja, Nagari Lubuak Jantan, Kecamatan Lintau Buo Utara, Kabupaten Tanah Datar. This UMKM was founded in 2022. This MSME produces based on orders because constrained in terms of capital and marketing, difficult to sell because this product is too expensive even though price of the raw materials is also expensive. Based on these obstacles, guidance with management accounting techniques is very important to increase the efficiency and productivity of these MSMEs, Cost of production (HPP) is the cost incurred to produce one unit of product. COGS can be calculated by considering raw material costs, weaving costs, administrative costs, and other costs related to production. By calculating COGS, MSMEs can find out the costs required to produce products, so they can make better decisions in setting selling prices and better optimize production and distribution processes to increase efficiency and profits.

Abstract

At SMAN 4 Padang, the process of determining the best students is still carried out manually, does not use a computerized system and there is no decision-making method for analyzing data. As a result, this process is often very long and the results of decisions are not precise and accurate. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) is to provide socialization to SMAN 4 Padang in making decisions appropriately and accurately using the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method, this method combines two models, namely the weighted sum model (WPM) and the weighted product model (WCM). The system implementation into the application uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The assessment criteria used are Attendance (C1), Personality (C2), Achievement (C3), Extracurricular (C4), and Final Report Value (C5). Several samples of data have been tested, where students with code A2 get the highest score, which is 0.7566 are declared the best students. After socializing and implementing the new system design, it can make it easier for SMAN 4 Padang schools to make decisions quickly, precisely, and accurately.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one way for someone to work towards a career for their future life, besides that entrepreneurship also helps the government's task in reducing unemployment growth in this country. Opening a business or business is something that requires sincerity and maturity of steps. One form of sincerity that needs to be shown by someone who is an entrepreneur is to make a business plan. But unfortunately not everyone understands how to make a good and correct business plan. comprehensive understanding and able to influence a well-designed business and can form MSMEs to clarify the vision and mission, identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis), develop strategies to utilize strengths, reduce weaknesses, take advantage of opportunities, and overcome threats (SWOT analysis), allocate resources effectively and efficiently, monitor progress and adjust strategies as Understanding the best strategies and practices of planning in entrepreneurship can provide significant benefits for MSMEs in the era of globalization. The involvement of human resources who understand the field makes the preparation of a business plan that is made only based on needs not a mature plan. To stay relevant and competitive with fellow MSMEs, it is important to think about a strategic and solid business plan, this is a management tool used to manage the current situation and project future conditions. A business plan is very important in guiding MSME business owners towards success.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the graphic design and digital marketing skills of members of UMKM Rezki Berkah Sehati in West Sumatra. Through Canva application training, participants are expected to create more attractive and effective promotional materials and strengthen their products' visual identity. In addition to the training, the Pusat Studi Pengembangan Nagari (PSPN) of Universitas Dharma Andalas also facilitated the UMKM to showcase their products through a booth at a mini UMKM bazaar. The results of this training showed a significant improvement in graphic design understanding, as well as the use of social media for product promotion. Despite some challenges related to the limited time for intensive mentoring, this activity successfully enhanced the competitiveness of UMKM and opened broader market opportunities. Moving forward, the development of training materials and the expansion of collaboration with various stakeholders will further strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in West Sumatra.
