Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa Pelajar Mahasiswa Damal (APMD) Kabupaten Puncak Papua yang berada di Kota Jayapura pentingnya pembangunan di wilayah Tanah Papua. Berdasarkan data bahwa Papua masih digolongkan sebagai 10 daerah termiskin di Indonesia. Generasi muda di kalangan pelajar maupun mahasiswa merupakan harapan bangsa dalam hal Pembangunan, terutama di wilayah Papua. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, tim pengabdian dari Program Studi Antropologi memberikan pemahaman kepada seluruh penghuni asrama APMD Kota Jayapura agar setelah lulus menjadi sarjana dapat mengimplementasikan ilmu terhadap Pembangunan di daerah masing-masing. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Gedung Asrama Pelajar Mahasiswa Damal (APMD) Kabupaten Puncak Papua pada tanggal 30 Juli 2024 dengan metode pemberian materi dan diskusi mengenai permasalahan yang terjadi di wilayah Kabupaten Puncak Papua. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini yaitu, seluruh mahasiswa sangat antusias ketika diskusi mengenai papua dan pembangunan pada masa yang akan datang. Pembangunan di Papua dalam berbagai aspek sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakatnya, karena Pembangunan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya.

Abstract

The rise of digital technology is characterized by the speed and ability to access information for the business world and society (Shepherd, 2011). The digital era can be seen as a rapidly developing system where people's knowledge not only grows, but also becomes more complex, making it difficult to change their lives. Social capital is abundant in the digital age and will only increase as the technological capabilities of our knowledge base expand. The rapid development of science, technology and knowledge in the world today demands the use of humans everywhere. These changes have implications for the education sector which needs to be improved at the local, national and international levels. Character education is very important in preparing students to face the world of work and politics. It cannot be denied that technology has changed the field of education dramatically. Currently there are many concerns about the challenges of learning in the digital era, from cyberbullying to identity theft.

Abstract

Survei telah dilakukan tim di (Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah) UMKM Pembuatan Minyak Gaharu di Lubuk Begalung, Kota Padang. Saat survei, tim melakukan wawancara dengan pelaku UMKM dan mengamati kondisi tempat kerja. Ditemukan bahwa penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di UMKM ini masih minim. Hal ini berisiko terhadap keselamatan pekerja. Oleh karena itu, tim kami memutuskan untuk melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM), yaitu edukasi tentang K3 kepada pelaku di UMKM ini. Langkah awal yang dilakukan adalah identifikasi potensi bahaya dan risiko kerja yang ada di proses produksi minyak gaharu, serta menyusun solusi untuk mitigasi risiko tersebut. Selain itu, dilakukan juga pelatihan mengenai prosedur keselamatan kerja, penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), serta penerapan standar K3 yang sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku. Diharapkan, dengan adanya kegiatan PkM ini, pekerja UMKM Pembuatan Minyak Gaharu dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran K3, serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan sehat, yang pada akhirnya berdampak positif pada peningkatan produktivitas.

Abstract

Reading interest among high school students in Indonesia is still relatively low, which can impact academic achievement and the development of critical thinking skills. Factors such as the dominance of social media use, lack of interesting reading materials, and ineffective time management are often the main causes of low reading interest. This activity aims to provide strategies to increase the reading interest of SMA N 8 Padang students through the implementation of effective time management. These strategies include developing a regular reading schedule, applying time management techniques such as the Pomodoro method, and limiting excessive screen time. In addition, the school's role in providing attractive reading facilities, such as reading corners or digital libraries, is also an important factor. Support from teachers and parents is needed to build a sustainable reading habit. This activity was conducted at SMA N 8 Padang on January 23, 2025.

Abstract

The second-hand import shoes business is currently growing quite rapidly so that people do not need to buy it at a high price. Genesis second shop sells various brands offline and online. The turnover of Genesis second shop per month is around IDR 10 million - IDR 12 million per month, the shop rent is IDR 11 million per year and is assisted by 1 employee. The priority problem of the Genesis second shop business is about market share and marketing strategy. The method of implementing counseling activities using lectures, discussions and practices. The purpose of the activity is for partners to know about market share and marketing strategies. The market share of Genesis second shop is all levels of lower and upper economic society of various ages. The Genesis second shop marketing strategy is carried out by paying attention to the 4P elements and improving existing marketing strategies and alternative marketing channels.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to provide education for the prevention of drugs, provide information about drugs, the dangers of drugs, and facilitate the prevention of drug abuse in Piai Tangah sub-district, Lubuk Begalung sub-district, Ganting Parak Gadang sub-district, Padang city in the form of counseling carried out in 3 stages during 1 month. Starting from the beginning of May until the 2nd Sunday of August 2023, the preparation stage consisting of meetings with related parties, preparation of proposals and site surveys has been carried out. The next stage is implementation, which is the main agenda, including socialization and counseling. From this service activity, it is hoped that the community and environment of Piai Tangah sub-district, Lubuk Begalung sub-district, Ganting Parak Gadang sub-district, Padang city will receive education to avoid drugs and the majority 75% of participants will understand drugs, the dangers of drugs, preventative measures and rehabilitation facilities.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) is one of the forms of the Tridharma of Higher Education that must be carried out by a lecturer. This PKM is proposed to conduct activities that focus on socialization and education in Nagari Talu. The Digital Literacy Program for the Youth of Nagari Talu aims to improve digital literacy skills among teenagers to face the challenges and opportunities offered by the era of technology and information. In recent years, the rapid development of information technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including education, economy, and socio-culture. Therefore, it is important for teenagers to master adequate digital skills so they can use technology positively and responsibly1. This program is implemented through a series of training and workshops that cover safe internet usage, utilizing social media for educational purposes, and basic information technology skills such as data management and information retrieval. Through this digital literacy program, it is hoped that the youth in Nagari Talu will gain sufficient knowledge and skills to quickly adapt to technological developments, as well as use information technology to improve their quality of life and contribute to the development of their region2.

Abstract

Digital marketing activities are an important element in entrepreneurial promotion activities, considering that all forms of activities, especially in the business sector, have gone through the digitalization stage, so that understanding in the digital marketing process must be improved and not to be left behind then goals can continue to be achieved. The use of digital marketing is needed to improve entrepreneurial marketing skills in students of SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman, and students can implement digital marketing and are able to increase their business potential.Digital marketing is an effort to market products with digital media and internet networks, such as Google Business, WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Tiktok, Canva and other platforms. One of the applications of digital marketing in business is the use of Canva. This activity provides guidance on the use of digital marketing with the Canva platform, from designing to utilizing it in student business activities.

Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan remaja, termasuk siswa SMP. Meskipun memiliki berbagai manfaat, media sosial juga membawa dampak negatif, seperti penurunan konsentrasi belajar, risiko kecanduan, dan paparan informasi yang tidak sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa SMP Kartika terhadap dampak media sosial melalui kegiatan sosialisasi yang terstruktur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 100 siswa sebagai sampel. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan penyebaran materi edukasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap dampak media sosial, yang diukur melalui pre-test dan post-test. Rata-rata nilai kesadaran siswa meningkat sebesar 35%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terkait penggunaan media sosial yang bijak.

Abstract

Saat ini tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa Pasar Modal memiliki peran penting bagi perekonomian satu negara karena pasar modal menjalankan dua fungsi, pertama sebagai sarana bagi perusahaan untuk mendapatkan dana dari masyarakat pemodal (investor). Dana yang diperoleh dari pasar modal dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan usaha,ekspansi,penambahan modalkerja dan lain-lain, kedua pasar modal menjadi sarana bagi masyarakat untuk berinvestasi pada instrument pasar seperti saham, obligasi, reksadana,dan lain-lain. Dengan demikian, masyarakat dapat menempatkan dana yang dimilikinya sesuai dengan karakteristik keuntungan dan risikomasing-masing instrumen.Tingkat pemahaman (literasi) masyarakat Indonesia terhadap pasar modal dan tingkat utilitas produk pasar modal masih sangat rendahdan yang terkecil dibandingkan dengan lima industri jasa keuangan lainnya (keuangan, asuransi, perbankan, pegadaian, pensiun) diIndonesia. Olehkarena itulah Lembaga Penelitian Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM)UNIDHA) memberikan edukasi awal kepada siswa-siswi dengan tujuan turut merubah pola pikir saving society menjadi investing society. Metode yang dilakukan dengan memberikan pengenalan teori dasar Pasar Modal oleh Tim dosen dan GISBEI dan praktik stocklab games oleh mahasiswa Pengurus GISBEI UNIDHA. Dari pengenalan pasar modal kepada siswa siswi SMAN 1 AMPEK ANGKEK dan SMAN 1 Baso sejak dini dan dikenalkan nabung saham, agar kedepan generasi milenial Indonesia menuju investing society.
