Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of assessment within the Kurikulum Merdeka at the elementary school level, with a particular focus on the application of diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments in science learning at SDIT Al-Furqan Palangka Raya. Assessment in the Independent Curriculum is designed not only to evaluate learning outcomes but also to provide a comprehensive understanding of students’ abilities, learning needs, and development potential. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method, involving the school principal and sixth-grade science teachers as participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that assessment practices at SDIT Al-Furqan Palangka Raya have been aligned with the principles of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Diagnostic assessments are conducted at the beginning of the semester to map students’ initial competencies as the basis for differentiated instruction. Formative assessments are implemented continuously during the learning process and function as feedback for improving instructional strategies. Summative assessments are carried out at the end of the semester to measure learning achievement. These findings indicate that assessment serves as an authentic and meaningful learning instrument that supports competency development, reflective learning, and holistic student growth.

Abstract

This qualitative-comparative case study aims to analyze and compare the traditional practice of land pawn (rahn) in Padureso Village, Kebumen, from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) according to the Imam Abu Hanifah and Imam Syafi'i Schools of Thought (Madzhabs). This study is relevant as it highlights the unique customary aspects concerning the utilization of the pledged object (marhun). Primary field data indicate a deviation in practice, where the pledged land is entirely managed and utilized by the creditor (murtahin), who also takes all the produce without any revenue sharing with the landowner (rahin), despite receiving permission for use. The analysis reveals fundamental differences in the juristic views. The Imam Abu Hanifah Madzhab generally prohibits the murtahin from benefiting from the marhun as it is deemed potential usury (riba), even with the rahin's permission. Conversely, the Imam Syafi'i Madzhab tends to prohibit utilization by the murtahin if it is stipulated in the contract (akad), but may permit it if there is genuine consent from the rahin outside the contract. Therefore, the practice in Padureso Village, which grants full profit to the murtahin, is categorized as a void pledge (rahn fasid) because it contains an element of usury or violates the essential nature of the collateral contract.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Islamic philanthropy management within Muslim minority communities in Landak Regency, West Kalimantan, focusing on its practices, challenges, and development potentials in Ambarang and Tebedak Villages. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving community leaders, religious figures, and Muslim residents actively engaged in zakat, infak, and sadaqah activities. The data were analyzed interactively through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal distinct characteristics in philanthropic management between the two villages. Tebedak Village demonstrates a more transparent and participatory management system supported by an institutional structure that ensures planned and accountable implementation of philanthropic activities. In contrast, Ambarang Village is characterized by strong social capital, particularly solidarity and mutual cooperation, yet lacks formal governance mechanisms. Both villages illustrate that Islamic philanthropy serves not only as a means of social assistance but also as an instrument for economic empowerment, interfaith harmony, and social cohesion within minority settings. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening community based institutions and Islamic philanthropy education to sustain social development programs in minority Muslim areas

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of the social and academic roles of H. Muhammad Basuni Imran in the development of Islamic education and community empowerment. As one of the most influential scholars in West Kalimantan, Basuni Imran made significant contributions to advancing Islamic education and shaping the socio-religious character of the Sambas community. This research employs a qualitative method with a historical approach through the examination of archives, documents, his published works, and relevant supporting literature. The findings indicate that Basuni Imran successfully integrated these two strategic roles in a harmonious manner. As an academic and Islamic thinker, he promoted curriculum reform, strengthened scholarly traditions, and emphasized the balance between rational knowledge and spiritual values. In his social role, he actively nurtured religious life, reinforced social solidarity (ukhuwah), and mobilized community initiatives grounded in Islamic values. The synergy between these dual roles positions Basuni Imran as a transformational scholar who contributed not only to intellectual development but also to the moral, cultural, and socio-economic empowerment of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to identify concepts and patterns of digital learning integration in Islamic education at the elementary and secondary school levels. The approach used is a systematic literature review. The procedures used include: (1) searching for sources using Harzing's or Perish, (2) filtering literature using PRISMA software, (3) mapping research findings with data tabulation, (4) narrating with the help of AI ChatGPT and DeepSeek, and (5) analyzing with constructive-humanistic learning theory and relevant research results. This study found a concept of digital learning in Islamic education called the adaptive Islamic digital learning (AIDL) model. This model offers a conceptual synthesis that integrates the theory of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) with a constructivist-humanistic approach and Islamic character values in Islamic Religious Education. Teachers must be present as facilitators in learning to ensure the realization of Islamic character values. The implications of this research can serve as a guide for teachers in the use of digital media in Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary and secondary schools.

Abstract

The concept of kafaah (compatibility or equality) in Islamic jurisprudence serves as a foundational principle to maintain marital harmony by ensuring balance between prospective spouses in religious, social, and economic aspects. However, contemporary social transformations and the growing participation of women in education and public life have reshaped the interpretation and application of kafaah, particularly in Egyptian society. This study aims to analyze the relevance and transformation of kafaah in modern contexts through the perspectives of Arab female students at Al-Azhar University, Egypt. Employing a qualitative approach, the research utilizes in-depth interviews with two participants Afnan (Shafi‘i school) and Aya (Hanafi school) to explore their views on kafaah in selecting a life partner. The findings indicate that while kafaah remains essential, its meaning has shifted from emphasizing social and economic status toward moral integrity, character, and shared responsibility. Afnan considers financial readiness and stable employment sufficient for marriage, while Aya emphasizes higher economic stability and social preparedness, including home ownership, jewelry (shabka), and completion of military service. The study concludes that kafaah has evolved from a marker of social legitimacy into a moral framework that reinforces equality and mutual responsibility in the formation of modern Islamic families

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Bin-Nazhar Method in the Tahfidz Munjiat extracurricular program at MA Al-Khadijah, Pamekasan. The Bin-Nazhar Method is an approach to memorizing the Quran through repeated readings while still consulting the Mushaf. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews with the supervising teacher (Ustad Hermawan), and documentation studies. The results indicate that the implementation of this method proceeded systematically through three main stages: (1) preparation by determining a memorization target of at least 5 verses, (2) the core process of repeating the readings (muroja'ah) until fluent, and (3) evaluation through memorization (tasmi') accompanied by a repetition of previous verses. The main supporting factors include students' religious commitment, institutional support through the habit of Dhuha prayer, and the active role of the supervising teacher. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors were time constraints due to busy academic schedules and differences in absorption and concentration among students. This study concludes that the Bin-Nazhar Method is effective in building strong and structured memorization of the Munjiat Surahs, with its success highly dependent on discipline in the muroja'ah process and consistency in tasmi'.

Abstract

The use of electronic wallets (e-wallets) is increasingly popular among Generation Z, known for their high-tech skills and strong propensity to adopt digital innovations in various aspects of daily life. E-wallets offer a fast, efficient, and practical means of financial transactions. However, it is important to evaluate their compliance with the principles of Maqashid Sharia, which include the protection of religion, life, intellect, descendants, and property. This study uses an interdisciplinary approach between Islamic Economics and Financial Technology (Fintech) to analyze the implementation and impact of e-wallet use among Generation Z in Indonesia. This approach allows for a more comprehensive understanding of the impact of e-wallets not only economically, but also socially and spiritually, within the framework of Islamic values. The results show that the majority of Generation Z utilizes e-wallets due to their efficiency, ease of access, and transaction security, where encryption and double verification systems are considered capable of protecting user data and maintaining the hifz al-mal (protection of property). From a hifz al-din and hifz al-'aql perspective, e-wallet use is considered legally neutral as long as it is not used for transactions that conflict with Sharia principles, such as online gambling or the purchase of illicit goods. Research also found that awareness of Sharia and digital security aspects remains relatively low, necessitating more intensive Sharia financial education and literacy for Generation Z.

Abstract

The decline in students’ motivation in learning Arabic at MTs Darul Ulum Pasinan is caused by the limited variety and interactivity of learning media. This study aims to develop an interactive learning medium called “MAQIY” to improve reading skills (maharah qirā’ah) and to test its validity and effectiveness. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 26 seventh-grade students (class VII A). Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative approaches with a one-group pre-test and post-test design.The results showed that the MAQIY media achieved a very good level of feasibility from media experts (86%), material experts (96%), and learning experts (76%). The students’ average score increased from 60.00 to 82.69 after using the media, with the results of the Paired Sample T-Test showing a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes. In conclusion, the MAQIY media is effective in improving students’ Arabic reading skills and implies the importance of developing interactive digital media in Arabic language learning at the madrasah level

Abstract

This study seeks to describe the implementation of community-based tourism management principles at the Beringin Kembar Dam Tourism Object in Marente Village, Alas District, Sumbawa Regency, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its development. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of village officials, tourism managers, and community members directly involved in tourism activities. Data analysis followed the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through triangulation of sources and methods. The findings reveal that the tourism management in Marente Village has applied the four main management functions: planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. The village government, local community, and Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) actively collaborate in each stage of tourism activities. Supporting factors include the village’s natural potential, strong community participation, and the government’s facilitative role, while inhibiting factors consist of limited infrastructure, low visitor awareness of cleanliness, and inadequate digital promotion. Overall, the implementation of CBT in Marente Village contributes to economic empowerment, cultural preservation, and the realization of inclusive and sustainable tourism at the local level.
