Community Service Activities is a manifestation of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education as well as sharing and contributing ideas as well as the transfer of knowledge and technology for teachers and students at SMA Masehi GBKP, Brastagi. This service activity was carried out for a day, with the material Introduction of Several Alternative Online Learning Media During the COVID-19 Pandemic. The material for the activities carried out included an explanation of several alternative online learning media commonly used in education, including Google Classroom, Edmodo, Easy Class, Moodle, Schoology, Cisco Webex, CloudX and Zoom. This topic is very much needed, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and provides various alternative online learning media for teachers and students so as to reduce obstacles in the face-to-face learning process.

The purpose of community service activities is to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and provide learning how to use Table of Figures (TOF) and Insert Captions to create a list of tables and a list of pictures of papers automatically at SMK PAB 8 Sampali. A paper is a work that is written, has a scientific nature and contains a discussion on a particular topic. In a paper, a table of contents, a list of tables and a table of figures is one of the components that must be present. Generally, students often make lists of tables and lists of pictures manually. As a result, sometimes the results obtained are not neat and not in accordance with the rules of writing the correct picture list. Even though Microsoft Word has provided the Insert Table of Figures feature that makes it easy for users to create a list of images or a list of tables automatically. Through training for SMK PAB 8 Sampali students, it is hoped that they will be able to use Table of Figures (TOF) and Insert Captions to write papers correctly as a support in the teaching and learning process.

This community service aims to improve English language skills for teachers and elementary school staff at SDN 104211. The method applied is the provision of materials and practice. This service uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Which aims to describe learning the introduction of English. Collecting data using observation techniques, interviews, documentation with data collection tools, namely interview guides, observation guidelines, field notes, and documents. The research subjects were teachers and elementary school staff at SDN 104211. The results showed: (1) in planning language recognition learning there were themes, indicators, main activities, media adapted to students' needs (2) in implementation, teachers carried out language recognition learning English is in accordance with the lesson plans, (3) the supporting factors for learning English introduction are the availability of learning media for the introduction of English provided by institutions and teachers. (4) the inhibiting factor in learning the introduction of English is not the main language for children so that teachers must be creative in teaching; classroom teachers do not have sufficient knowledge of English; Child development is a consideration so that children are not depressed.

This community service activity is one of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi by providing learning to students at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta YPI Batang Kuis in training on making job applications and student business cards using Mail Merge. Mail Merge is a facility in Ms. Word that is used to deal with correspondence problems such as job application letters, invitation letters, sales promotion letters, business cards, and various other types of document creation, which can be sent to multiple recipients/destinations using the information stored in the list, database, or spreadsheet. The advantage of using mail merge is that it makes it easier for the letter/document maker because it only creates one type of letter/document that can be sent to several different recipients. Through this training, Madrasah Aliyah Swasta YPI Batang Kuis students are expected to be able to take advantage of the Mail Merge feature to make job application letters and student business cards more easily and more efficiently as a support in the teaching and learning process.

This community service activity is one of the manifestations of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, which is to provide benefits to the community in this case to taxpayers who are domiciled at the Tax Service Office (KPP) in the working area of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of North Sumatra 1. Several KPPs that were appointed partners were KPPs of Medan Timur, Medan Petisah, Binjai and Lubuk Pakam. These activities include serving taxpayers, discussing, helping to calculate, and determining the amount of income tax deposits that must be fulfilled by taxpayers along with filling and reporting their annual SPT online (e-SPT). For the Indonesian Methodist University, especially the Faculty of Economics, this activity is a role to support the Government, especially in the inclusion of tax awareness which is being activated and programmed by the Directorate General of Taxes as well as to better foster relationships with the surrounding community. This activity begins with a meeting to explore the needs of partners, in this case, the DGT/KPP. Then the Tax Volunteer recruitment process is carried out in the form of written tests and interviews. Next, we compiled soft skills material for Tax Volunteers, namely FE UMI students who had been trained as volunteers, and coordinated the timing of this activity.

As we all know that the application of information technology, especially websites, has touched all aspects of human life such as business, education, government, health, and other fields. Therefore, skilled personnel is needed in the field of web design in order to meet market needs and employment needs. This community service activity was carried out for fifteen days with training materials on web design and digital marketing. This PkM was carried out in collaboration with partners, namely the Labor Agencies Office of Medan City and with PT. Hagatekno Mediata.

The UMI tax center cooperates with the Regional Office of DJP Sumbagut 1 to assist MSME actors in improving and developing their products through appropriate marketing, namely digital marketing, recording transactions clearly, completely, and correctly, and in the future, MSME actors can make tax payments. As a result of this assistance, a win-win solution is created for the three parties; namely, MSME actors can gain knowledge and skills to increase sales and record transactions that are useful for decision making. The North Sumatra Regional Tax Office I can increase tax compliance. At the UMI Tax Center party, students have knowledge that directly handles tax cases at the time of tax reporting.

The purpose of community service activities is to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and provide learning how to make and replace conventional cover colors with Microsoft Word at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Yayasan Pendidikan Islam (YPI) Batang Kuis. A paper is a work that is written, has a scientific nature and contains a discussion on a particular topic. In making a paper, it is necessary to have a good cover so that it can attract the interest of the reader. A conventional cover is a cover that is made attractively using features from Microsoft Word. There are still many who think that Microsoft Word can only be used to type documents. In fact, the latest Microsoft Word update can be used for other things too, one of which is for making conventional covers. Through training for MA YPI Batang Kuis students, it is hoped that they can use Microsoft Word to make conventional paper covers as a support in the teaching and learning process.

Community service aims to provide guidance to teachers in carrying out the tasks of the teaching and learning process. In this case, the method used is the lecture, discussion, and question and answer method. Through this, many inputs were obtained, including the characteristics of quality schools and of course quality human resources are needed, especially with the Covid 19 pandemic that has hit the city of Medan and the world in general. Quality school management starts from the principal, teachers, investment in finance and adequate infrastructure.
