Teknovokasi : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar (JTIK UNM) adalah peer-reviewed journal yang memuat artikel-artikel ilmiah dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang diadopsi dalam berbagai aktivitas pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan penelitian terapan lainnya. Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di Teknovokasi meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di Teknovokasi : maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. Teknovokasi menerima manuskrip atau naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan hilirisasi hasil penelitian ilmiah kuantitatif maupun kualitatif berbasis komunitas kedalam format pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan mencakup: (1) Sosial, (2) Kependidikan, (3) Sains, (4) Bisnis dan Ekonomi, dan (5) Teknik dan Kejuruan.

<![CDATA[This training aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of elementary school teachers in planning and implementing the Independent Curriculum in Soppeng Regency. This training was carried out offline and attended by 24 participants, consisting of six schools, 12 teachers, six principals, and six school supervisors. The training activities were held on June 27, 2023, at SMP Negeri 3 Soppeng Regency. Based on the results that have been obtained, the target school has implemented an independent curriculum for one year and has planned and implemented the independent curriculum well. In preparing the school's operational curriculum, the entire school community has been involved, consisting of all teachers and principals, parents of students, and student representatives. In the learning process in the classroom, differentiated learning has been implemented and is based on the achievements, characteristics, and needs of students.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity takes the form of socialization, education and counseling targeting inmates at the Class IIB Takalar Prison. This community service aims to provide knowledge and understanding to residents of the Class IIB Takalar Prison regarding the use of digital marketing. The location of this service was carried out at the Class IIB Takalar Prison. The method used is to give a lecture in the first session, then the second session is a discussion with questions and answers, then the last session is an evaluation. The evaluation results obtained were by brain color tests from 20 prison inmates. The evaluation results showed that 7 people met the criteria for the yellow brain type, 2 people met the criteria for the blue brain type, 4 people met the criteria for the green brain type, and 7 people met the criteria for the orange brain type. This test shows the personality type related to entrepreneurial character based on thought patterns and ways of acting. By knowing the multi-faceted nature of personality, it allows people to accept, respect and appreciate others more easily. The result of this service activity is to increase the understanding of the inmates of Class IIB Takalar Prison regarding the use of digital marketing so that they can produce output and master digital marketing.]]>

<![CDATA[The community service activity carried out is training to build effective communication between parents and children in the digital era. This service targets parents of early childhood at TK Negeri Pembina Makassar. There were 17 parents who participated in the training activities to build effective communication between parents and children in the digital era. The purpose of this service activity is to develop the ability of parents of early childhood at TK Negeri Pembina Makassar to develop effective communication with early childhood in the digital era. This service wants to increase the knowledge of parents of early childhood in building effective communication with their children in the digital era. The location of this service was carried out in the hall of TK Negeri Pembina Makassar. This activity involves cooperation with related parties. The implementation method used in this service is the lecture and discussion method on 17 parents of early childhood as participants in this activity. The results of this service activity were measured using a questionnaire that was directly distributed to parents and filled in after attending the training. The results of the service showed an increase in parents' knowledge of the characteristics of children in the digital era by 94%, an increase in parents' knowledge of appropriate parenting in the digital era by 82%, and also an increase in parents' knowledge on strategies for building effective communication with early childhood in the digital era by 88%.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) play an important role in supporting their own country's economy, but often face challenges in managing and reporting their finances. This community service activity aims to introduce digital-based financial reporting to PMIs with the aim of improving their understanding of financial management and facilitating more accurate reporting. The method used in this community service involves counseling and training to PMI on the use of digital-based applications to record their financial transactions. In addition, they were also given a better understanding of the importance of reporting their finances routinely and accurately. In this process, PMIs are taught about basic accounting concepts and how to apply them in recording their personal finances. The results of this service showed an increase in PMI's understanding and skills in managing and reporting their finances. They are able to record transactions in a more structured manner and report their finances more accurately, which can support better financial planning and wiser decision-making. This service activity makes a positive contribution to the economic welfare of PMI and encourages the use of digital technology as an effective tool to improve their financial literacy and financial independence. In addition, this service can be the basis for further program development that supports PMI in their financial aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[Improper utilization of electricity due to control that is not in accordance with PUIL standards, will cause great losses to consumers of electricity users. The objectives to be achieved in this PKM are: (1) to increase the knowledge of students and teachers of SMK Darussalam Maros (Partners) in making Raspberry-based electrical energy saving device software using a smartphone, which functions to control the use of electrical energy in a house / office, (2) to improve Partner skills in making and utilizing Raspberry-based electrical energy saving devices using smartphones, according to the software that has been made, (3) to improve Partner skills in making interfaces and applications for Raspberry-based electrical energy saving devices using smartphones. The methods used in this Workshop training are lecture, discussion, question and answer and demonstration methods. The results of this PKM are (1) Partners' knowledge in making Raspberry-based electrical energy saving device software is more improved, (2) Partners' skills increase in terms of making and utilizing Raspberry-based electrical energy saving devices, (3) Partners' skills are more improved in making interfaces and applications for electrical energy saving devices, so that these devices can be controlled through smartphones, both from close range, and from a distance.]]>

<![CDATA[This activity was carried out as research literacy training for FEB UNM management students. The aim of this activity is to develop the skills and abilities of management students in compiling theses and to increase students' understanding and understanding of scientific articles. This activity took place on December 10 2022 at the BU Building of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University (FEB UNM) which was attended by 25 participants from the FEB UNM management study program. The method for carrying out this activity is lecture and question and answer. Assessment tools in the form of tests and observations. The team conducted tests in two stages, namely pre-test and post-test which aimed to measure and accept participants for this training. The pre-test score obtained before carrying out the literacy training was 65. Meanwhile, the post-test result displayed was 80. From these results it was found that there was an increase in ability to understand and manage the material studied during the training. This is shown by the average score of participants when answering the tests given by the service team.]]>

<![CDATA[Assistance activities for processing fish nuggets with the addition of moringa for the community in Limbua Village, Sendana District, Majene Regency with the hope of supporting government programs in improving people's welfare and obtaining healthy food preparations, increasing the knowledge and skills of participants in processing fish nuggets with the addition of Moringa as a healthy food ingredient. Implementation of activities carried out in three stages; stage one is observation of activity locations, stage two is the stage of implementing PKM activities, and stage three is the final stage of the activity, in this stage an evaluation is carried out. This activity was attended by 60 participants. After participating in this activity, the community, especially PKH women and housewives in Limbua Village, have a good understanding of how to process fish nuggets with the addition of moringa. The results obtained from this activity were prior to the activity, knowledge of processing fish nuggets, partners had never made their own nuggets. This is because partners do not know how to make it. After the counseling and practice activities, the respondents' knowledge about making fish nuggets and how to process them increased.]]>

<![CDATA[PKM utilization of refugia plants to control paddy pests is a simple technology implemented to answer the problem of difficulties in controlling pests without the use of pesticides in Maros Regency. The utilization of refugia plants in ecological engineering is a crucial component of integrated pest control (IPM) technology. Its primary objective is to establish a biological balance between pests and natural enemies, ensuring that pest populations remain below the economic threshold. Habitat engineering, achieved through the strategic planting of refugia in paddy fields, offers spatial and/or temporal shelter for natural enemies, such as predators and parasitoids. Additionally, it supports various components of biotic interactions in ecosystems, including vital pollinators. Furthermore, certain refugia plants possess the potential to serve as effective biological agents for controlling pests in paddy plants. The resulting products consist of knowledge regarding integrated pest control (IPM) and refugia planting in paddy fields. This PKM (Community Service Program) is carried out in two stages, namely the training stage, which lasts for one day, and the practical stage involving farmer groups and assistance. Zinnia flowers and kenikir flowers are types of refugia plants that were introduced to the partner group in Simbang Village, Maros Regency. The use of kenikir plants and ziinia plants in paddy fields is proven to minimize the use of synthetic pesticides. A group of partners will conduct rice planting with refugia plant pest control, starting with the cultivation of refugia plants to meet the needs of farmer groups.]]>

<![CDATA[Farmers in the Samangki Village area, Simbang Sub-district, Maros Regency are the target community for this community service activities. Samangki Village has an area of 43.62 km² and a population of 5,176 people with a population density of 118.66 people/km². Farmers' knowledge of environmental sanitation is still relatively low so it is necessary to provide guidance and guidance in improving the quality of the environment and housing in Samangki village. The purpose of this community service activities is that farmers in Samangki Village can make healthy household sewage drains. In addition, it is also hoped that smallholder families can improve the quality of their housing environment and overall quality of life. The implementation method includes the following stages: (1) Licensing and Site Preparation, (2) Socialization, (3) Counseling, (4) Introducing Materials and Tools, and (5) Program Monitoring and Evaluation. The results of this community service activities are: (a) Improved Farmer Skills: Through intensive training and mentoring, farmers in this area successfully improved their understanding of basic sanitation principles and simple construction techniques for sewerage, (b) Reduced Disease Risk: With the implementation of healthy sewerage, the risk of disease transmission caused by dirty water can be significantly reduced, (c) Improved Quality of Life: Farmer households that have participated in the program experience a marked improvement in quality of life, feeling safe and comfortable with a clean and healthy environment, and (d) Improved Quality of Life: Farmer households that have participated in the program experience a marked improvement in quality of life. This community service activities achieved a number of significant results. Intensive training and mentoring to farmers in the region has brought about tangible positive impacts.]]>

<![CDATA[This activity aims to provide counseling and training on entrepreneurship and marketing related to the sale of brick products. The target participants of this activity were brick-producing residents in Limbung Village, Gowa Regency. In general, participants can be expected to be very enthusiastic about following the provision of material as shown by their diligence and discipline in following each stage in the activity. Each participant was able to produce good quality brick products and was also able to market these products through both offline and online sales mechanisms. Through this activity, each participant feels the benefits of this activity and hopes that activities like this can be provided regularly and also bring new treasures to their knowledge and skills so that it will improve the standard of living of residents economically.]]>
