Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and explain the effect of multiple roles on employee performance through work stress. This research approach is quantitative with a positivist paradigm. Data collection were carried out in a cross-sectional manner using a questionnaire. The population of this study were 54 female employees at the regional development planning agency of the province of southeast sulawesi office. The analytical tool used is Partial Least Square.The results of the study indicate that : (1) multiple roles have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) multiple roles has a positive and significant effect on work stress, (3) work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (4) multiple roles has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work stress

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the mediation effect of readiness for change between transformational leadership and employee performance relationship in a manufacture industry in Tangerang. Data collection was done by simple random sampling technique and the returned and valid questionnaire results were 195 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that transformational leadership have not significant effect on the employee performance, but transformational leadership have a positive and significant effect on readiness for change. This study conclude also that readiness for change have a positive and significant effect on relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. Readiness for change as fully mediator. This new research proposed a model for building employee performance among the employee of a manufacture industry in Tangerang through enhancing transformational leadership practice with readiness for change as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve employee readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the effects of service quality, food quality and environment on customer loyalty of Padang cuisine in Sederhana Restaurant, Kendari and the role of brand image as a moderating effect of service quality, food quality and environment on customer loyalty of the restaurant. The sample of this study was 110 customers and used purposive sampling as sampling technique. Applying Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis, the results show that service quality has no significant effect on customer loyalty, while food quality and environment have a significant effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, brand image acts as a moderating effect of service quality on customer loyalty. However, in terms of food quality and environment, it cannot act as a moderating variable.Keywords: Service Quality, Food Quality, Environment, Brand Image, Customer Loyalty

Abstract

This study aims: (1) to determine the effect of Knowledge Management, Motivation, and Quality  of Work Life on Employee Performance  of PT. Indrabakti Mustika In Kendari; (2) to determine the effect of Knowledge Management on Employee Performance  of PT.  Indrabakti  Mustika  In Kendari;  (3) to determine  the effect  of motivation on employee performance at PT. Indrabakti Mustika In Kendari; and (4) to determine  the  effect  of  Quality  of  Work  Life  on  Employee  Performance  of  PT. Indrabakti  Mustika  In  Kendari.  The  sampling  technique  used  in  this  study  was purposive sampling. In this study, samples were taken with the characteristics of male and  female  employees,  all  employees  with  permanent  employee  status  at  PT. Indrabakti  Mustika.  So  the  number  of samples  in this  study  were  50  permanent employees.The results showed that: (1) Knowledge Management, Motivation, and Quality of Work Life simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT. Indrabakti  Mustika  In  Kendari;  (2) Knowledge  Management,  partially  positive  and significant effect on Employee Performance of PT. Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze empirically the effect of job ability, work involvement and work motivation on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency. This research is explanatory which intends to explain the position of the variables studied and the relationship and influence between one variable and another variable.The results showed that: (1) Ability to work, work involvement and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency. (2) Job ability has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency. (3) Work involvement has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and explain the effect of work discipline, work environment and leadership simultaneously on the performance of the employees of the Investment and One Stop Service Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province (DPMPTSP Prov. Sultra). This research approach is a survey with an explanatory research design. Data collection was carried out in a cross-sectional manner using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The population and sample of this study were 56 employees of the Office of Investment and One Stop Services of Southeast Sulawesi Province (DPMPTSP Prov. Sultra). The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, namely sampling based on objectives or criteria. The analytical tool used is Multivariate Regression Analysis.The results showed that work discipline partially had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Office of Investment and One Stop Services of Southeast Sulawesi Province (DPMPTSP Prov. Sultra). The work environment partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Office of Investment and One Stop Services of Southeast Sulawesi Province (DPMPTSP Prov. Sultra). Leadership partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Office of Investment and One Stop Services of Southeast Sulawesi Province (DPMPTSP Prov. Sultra). Simultaneously work discipline, work environment, and leadership have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Investment and One Stop Service Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province (DPMPTSP Prov. Sultra).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and explain the influence of leadership behavior on employee performance mediated by organizational commitment and job satisfaction in the Konawe District PPKB Office. This research approach is a survey with explanatory research design. Data collection is done cross-section using instruments in the form of questionnaires. The population of this study is a Vertical ASN at the Konawe Regency PPKB Office with a sample of 63 people. The analysis equipment used for hypothesis testing is Partial least square (PLS). The results showed that leadership behavior have a positive and significant effect on commitment and job satisfaction, but on employee performance have not significant effect. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, organizational commitment and job satisfaction serve as a perfect mediation on the influence of leadership behavior on employee performance. This means that good leadership behavior contributes significantly to improving organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Then organizational commitment and high job satisfaction then employee performance is significantly improved. However, direct leadership behavior does not contribute significantly to improving employee performance, unless it first increases organizational commitment and employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research intends to find the simultaneous and partial effect of service quality and marketing communication on redit taking decision among PNS at PT. BPD Bank Sultra, Branch Wakatobi. This research is one of explanatory researches, with the population of all civil servants as customers who take multipurpose credits at PT. BPD Bank Sultra, Branch Wakatobi in 2018 with a total 1,849 employees, the sample size was 95 respondents collected by the Slovin method. Then, respondents were taken by accidental sampling. The analytical tool used is multiple regression. The result showed that service quality and marketing communication had significant effects on PNS credit taking decision at PT. BPD Bank Sultra Branch Wakatobi, both simultaneously and partially.Keywords: service quality, marketing communication, purchasing decision

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and explain the effect of Quality of Work Life (Quality of Work Life), Emotional Fatigue and Competence on the Performance of Midwives at the Muna Regency General Hospital. This research approach is a survey with an Explanatory Research design. Data was collected using instruments in the form of data analysis, namely descriptive analysis and inferential statistics, namely Multivariate Regression Analysis. The results of this study state that (1) Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on the performance of midwives, (2) Emotional exhaustion has a positive and insignificant effect on the performance of midwives, (3) Competence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of midwives, (4) Quality of Work Life, Emotional exhaustion and competence simultaneously affect the performance of midwives

Abstract

This research aims to figure out and analyze the effects of Brand Community Optimization, which is formed by 4 dimensions (namely: Brand Affect, Brand Trust, Brand Self-Congruity and Brand Social Identification) and Dependence towards Brand Community Commitment and Repurchase Intention. The research was done on Inter-city Inter-province (Antar Kota Antar Propinsi – AKAP) bus transportation services. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 300 AKAP bus community members as the samples by using the Purposive Sampling technique.. The research discovered that Brand Community Optimization is formed by 3 dimensions, which are: Brand Affect, Brand Trust and Brand Social Identification. It was found that Brand Self-Congruity is not part of the dimension that formed the Brand Community Optimization. Brand Community Optimization, in the context of the AKAP bus community, is a new variable that is proposed to take part in optimizing a certain brand to be on top of the mind of the community and create its members’ commitment to that AKAP bus brand. This study found that Brand Community Commitment acted as the Mediating Effect in the relationship between the Brand Community Optimization, Dependence with Repurchase Intention.
