Abstract

This study aimed at developing the learners’ ability of the English language. Seen from the successfulness of one in studying the language, Non-formal English Course has much contribution to the English language teaching. The Non-formal English course is denoted as the enrichment toward the students that is studying English in junior, senior high school and event in the university. This research constitutes casual comparative study with the main objective is the English students at Hamzanwadi University, Lombok, Indonesia. The numbers of accessible population in this study are 40 students who follow and did not follow Non-formal Course of English. Data was collected using semi-structure interview. The result revealed that the mean score of students’ speaking performance who followed Non-formal English was 78.25. It proved students’ speaking performance who followed Non-formal English course was high. However, after calculating the comparison of the students’ speaking performance who follow and do not follow it, the researcher found only 3.55 of t-test which means the degree of comparison between them was high comparison. In conclusion, this analysis found the students’ speaking performance who followed Non-formal English Course and those who did not has high comparison.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: 1. (Al Isro:110. 2. Determine the relevance of ethics education in worship. 3. To clarify the background of the concept of ethics education in contemporary worship."This study is a descriptive study, which means that questionnaires or literature searches were used to collect data. both primary and secondary data were used to gather study material. The Qur'an Karim and some of our commentary serve as the primary sources of knowledge. Books, newspapers, journals, internet media, and other materials that are relevant to the thesis subject serve as secondary data sources. The Al-Quran, the Tafsir, and other significant texts are employed as documents as part of the documentation data collecting approach. Textual information is analyzed using both content analysis and discourse analysis. The goal of content analysis is to make the book's contents clear. Discourse analysis, a different approach owing to the constraints of content analysis, studies the meaning of communications with an emphasis on covert (latent) meanings.The following conclusions may be drawn from the author's research findings: (1) Moral instruction in worship is regarded as one of the most crucial aspects of human existence, according to the interpretation of QS. Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to improve teachers' ability to manage ICT-based learning. data collection tools using interviews, documentation, observation and literature review. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. Teachers are currently required to have the ability to carry out ICT-based learning. The obstacles faced by teachers in developing ICT-based learning include: the diverse conditions of students and factors of teaching experience, ability to operate learning media; the availability of school facilities is for teachers in implementing ICT-based learning. Teachers must be able to utilize information from the internet as well as teacher discussion forums as an effort to overcome problems in the preparation of a new ICT-based learning paradigm.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the teacher's attitude is in dealing with students with special needs in class 2 at SDN Jelegong 01 Rancaekek. This research was conducted at SDN Jelegong 01 Rancaekek. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. For data collection techniques in this study using classroom observations, interviews with grade 2 teachers, reviewing from literature studies by searching from book, articles, journals, theses, etc. related to the research being conducted. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that in dealing with grade 2 students with special needs at SDN Jelegong 01 Rancaekek the teacher's attitude is painstaking in providing special treatment according to what the student needs but the teacher also tries so that these students and their families do not feel discriminated against and do not make Other students feel that there is something special in the class.

Abstract

The Independent Teaching Platform (PMM) is a technology platform that accommodates teachers to obtain references, inspiration and understanding of the independent curriculum. This platform also helps teachers to develop their own creativity, because the learning features on the Independent Platform provide independent training facilities with unlimited access. This study aims to analyze the use of the Independent Teaching Platform (PMM) in increasing teacher competence in elementary schools. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through questionnaires indirectly through the Google form. The research results showed that the benefits of the Independent Platform were felt by 90.5% of teachers in West Sumatra played a role in increasing the competence of teachers in elementary schools.

Abstract

Language is a tool used by humans in communicating. The theory of language develops and becomes the talk of experts. Pragmatics, as a linguistic discipline, has clear differences from other linguistic disciplines, both in terms of terminology and research focus. Pragmatics focuses on the goals that speakers want to achieve through their communication. Pragmatics has another derivative, one of which exists. The research entitled “Analysis of Diexis in Writing Opinion Columns on the Mojok.co Site aims to analyze the use of diexist in the form of persona diexist, place or space diexist, time diexist and discourse diexist. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique used in this study was reading and taking notes. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there is the use of persona diexis, place or space diexis, time diexis and discourse diexis in writing uploaded in the Opinion Column of Mojok.co

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations and experiences of researchers, that in a lesson you will definitely find various student characters. One of them is learning to write cursive letters. This study aims to analyze the character of class I students when learning to write cursive letters at SDN Jelegong 01 Rancaekek. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection using literature study as well as direct observation when learning to write cursive letters took place in class I SDN Jelegong 01 Rancaekek. Based on the results of observations, researchers found various characters shown by students when learning to write cursive letters took place. Among them, there were those who refused to write cursive letters and chose to write in printed letters, some did not even want to write at all and not a few students were happy when this learning was carried out. The need for teacher guidance to students who do not master these skills is one reason that needs more attention. Because one of the characteristics of low grade students is to think something is not important when they are unable to master or solve it. Therefore, guidance from the teacher is very important so that students are able to catch up and are willing to do something that they think is not important because the student cannot.

Abstract

Online games are a form of advancement in technological development. In its development, online games have had several impacts on today’s generations. Some of the effects are changing the behavior of a child, feeling lazi to learn, reducing social life, and stretching closeness to parents. The purpose of this study is to determine changes in behavior that occur in elementary school children due to online games. This research is a type og qualitative research using qualitative descriptive methods The subjects of this study were grade V students of SDN Tamanasri 2, Pringkuku sub-district, Pacitan regency. Data collection in the study was carried out using observation methods and distributing questionnaires to resource persons. Also by linking previous research. The results of the study showed that all students were users of online games and felt the negative impact of the game.

Abstract

Comparison of Deiksis of Gantarang Dialect and Kajang Dialect of Bulukumba Regency. The purpose of this study was to describe the deixis use of the Gantarang dialect and the Kajang dialect of Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, which produces descriptive data in the form of written words strung together in a sentence into a single language unit. The data used as the basis for this research is in the form of words or sentences expressed by speakers. The source of the data collection came from native speakers of the Gantarang dialect (Bugis language) and the Kajang dialect (Konjo language). The data collected in the qualitative descriptive analysis is in the form of words, and sentences are not in the form of numbers. Qualitative descriptive research aims to build a natural perception of an object, so researchers get closer to the object as a whole. Based on the data, the results of the research in analyzing the deixis comparison of the Gantarang dialect (Bugis language) and the Kajang dialect (Konjo language) have the same words in terms of sound, pronunciation and meaning, namely the words puang and mate, meanwhile, apart from the words puang and mate, other data have differences both in terms of sound, meaning, pronunciation or pronunciation besides that both languages pay great attention to the level of politeness when speaking especially if the speech partner is an older person, and also if the speech partner has a certain social stratum or degree in society such as someone from royal lineage. Gantarang dialect (Bugis language) found five deixis namely persona deixis, time deixis, place deixis, discourse deixis, and social deixis. Meanwhile, in the Kajang dialect (Konjo language), five deixis are found, namely persona deixis, time deixis, place deixis, discourse deixis, and social deixis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of reward and punishment for students at SD Negeri 08 Sarilamak. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. The method used is the method of observation and interviews. The research location was carried out at SD Negeri 08 Sarilamak. The results of the study show that student learning motivation is related to the teacher giving rewards and punishments to students on the condition that they are given properly and appropriately. Giving rewards is related to how the teacher teaches students about good values in which students are given awards if they do good or positive things. Conversely, the teacher will give punishment if students do something that is not good or negative. This is so that students do not repeat the negative actions or violations that they have committed.
