Abstract

Writing articles aims to explain the concept and mainstreaming of gender in Islamic education. In the world of education, there is still a gender gap that needs to be overcome by strengthening and implementing gender equality. This research is a qualitative type, collecting data using literature studies by collecting data and taking ongoing discussions with research. The analytical method used is content analysis of content. The results of the study show that Islam highly values ​​gender equality which is reinforced in the explanation of the verses of the Koran. The Qur'an implies gender equality between men and women, namely that women and men have equality in terms of humanity, taklif, rewards, and rewards as well as opportunities for achievement. Gender mainstreaming in Islamic education can be carried out by implementing gender equality through curriculum correlation, incorporating gender-based issues into learning, using teaching materials that are not gender-biased, and providing opportunities for all students to participate in the learning process. The application of a gender mainstreaming strategy in Islamic education is very appropriate to be applied as an effort to reduce the level of discrimination and gender gaps in society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the way female students of Al Fattah Tarbiyah College of Science fight hoax news circulating on social media accounts owned by students and analyze the contributions that have been made to prevent hoax news from spreading. This research is qualitative descriptive. This type of research is a case study. The source of the data was obtained from interviews with all female students regarding ways and strategies to fight hoax news on social media. The data collection technique used is through observation and interviews. The analysis used in this study is the Miles Huberman Theory. Based on this research, female students fight hoax news in the following ways; 1) Analyze news by reading titles carefully, Comparing news from one media to another, Checking the veracity of photos, Checking website addresses, Reading the whole news, and Rereading the news that appears repeatedly 2) Strengthen character with literacy education, critical thinking and logical thinking 3) Determine attitudes by initiating control Attitude, do not forward news, activate the report site and block news.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the concept of using mobile learning applications and social media in Islamic Religious Education learning. Along with the increasingly rapid development of information and communication technology and the availability of various social media, this can be used as an effective and efficient learning media in learning Islamic Religious Education. The type of research in this article is included in library research, where the data sources come from books and articles. Meanwhile, the research method used is descriptive analysis. The data analysis technique used in this research is content analysis, in the form of opinions from trusted sources. The results of this research show that there are many applications that can be used as mobile learning-based PAI learning media, both in the form of interactive visuals and interactive audio-visuals through various applications. The use of social media, especially Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube as media in learning has proven effective and successful. The use of mobile learning applications and social media as learning media for Islamic Religious Education not only makes the learning process more interesting and communicative but can also be a solution for achieving learning goals.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the role of schools in shaping moderate awareness in young people as an effort to prevent radicalization and identity-based conflicts. This research highlights the importance of schools as educational institutions and social environments in shaping students' attitudes, values, and behaviors. This type of research is a literature study. In carrying out data collection techniques, it is carried out by reviewing literature and relevant library materials in the form of books and articles. Meanwhile, analysis of the data is done in three steps, First, the determination of the design or model; second, the disbursement of main data or primary data, namely individual texts; and third, the search for contextual knowledge so that the research carried out is not in a vacuum, but relates to other factors. The result of this research is that the school is not only a place for the transfer of academic knowledge but also an institution that plays a role in shaping the personality and character of students. Teachers and teaching staff have a central role as role models who guide students toward moderate understanding and behavior. Through daily interactions with students, schools have the opportunity to teach values such as tolerance, mutual respect, and inclusivity.

Abstract

Character is an important element in the progress of a nation's civilization. The term character was initially introduced by the Western world. But actually in Islam, character has been studied by Muslim intellectuals with the term akhlak. The book of morals is still used as a learning resource in pesantren as a support for character education. So that problems arise regarding the fulfillment of national character education standards through character education from these books. Departing from this background, this study aims to examine the relevance of the concept of character in the book of Taysir al-Khallaq with Permendikbud No. 20/2018. The research was conducted using the literature method with a qualitative approach. The data were analyzed using typology analysis techniques. The results showed that there were 31 character values in the book of Taysir al-Khallaq which included morals towards Allah SWT, morals towards self, morals towards others, praiseworthy traits, and telrcella traits. Meanwhile, Permendikbud No. 20 of 2018 stipulates 18 character values that are based on aspects of religion, Pancasila, buldaya, and national education goals. After the character values from the two research objects were analyzed for linguistic and conceptual relevance, 12 relevant character values were found. Based on the results of this analysis, the concept of character in the book of Taysir al-Khallaq is relevant to Permendikbud No. 20/2018. So character education in the Taysir al-Khallaq book meets the national character education standards and is suitable as a learning resource to support character education in pesantren that use it in their internal curriculum.

Abstract

This article departs from the growing symptoms of intolerance among Indonesian Muslim students, especially at the high school (SMA/MA) and university levels. They seem to have difficulty appreciating differences in religious practices in society, both those shown by minority Muslim groups and other religious communities. Statistically, they tend to be very intolerant towards minority Muslim groups (51.1%), rather than towards followers of other religions (34.3%). This research is qualitative in type by adopting a library research approach. The main focus of this research is to analyze the factors that cause the emergence of symptoms of intolerance among Muslim students and how the inclusive paradigm is able to make the Islamic education ecosystem more open to diversity. The findings in this research indicate that the growing cases of intolerance among Muslim students originate from at least three factors. First: the increasingly intense dissemination of religious exclusivism in public spaces and social media by Islamist groups. Second: the style of Islamic literature in high schools (SMA/MA) and universities still does not emphasize the importance of tolerance in social life. Third: the tendency of educators toward religious learning patterns that are doctrinal-normative rather than contextual-progressive. Of these three factors, at least it emphasizes the need to bring an inclusive paradigm into the Islamic education ecosystem. This effort can be achieved by: 1). reformulate the Islamic education curriculum based on a multicultural paradigm, 2). carry out intensive dissemination of the understanding of national tolerance to educators, 3). designing PAI learning strategies that are responsive to diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the content in the upin ipin animated Ramadan strains episode can shape the religious and moral values ​​of early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out systematically, starting with data collection, semiotic analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are that the animation of upin ipin episodes of Ramadan strains has seven values ​​that help form children's religious and moral values ​​including politeness, prayer and recitation, things that break fasting, increase practice in the month of Ramadan, prayer for breaking the fast and intention of fasting, saying hello, and singing the Hijriyah month. This upin ipin episode of Ramadan strains is very appropriate to be used as an example and watched by a wide audience with the hope that moral and religious values ​​can be conveyed in a simple way and can be well received by early childhood, especially parents and families. The animated film Upin Ipin episodes of Ramadhan strains deserves to be watched by all groups, young people and adults alike in the hope that the impression of religious and moral values ​​from this animation can be conveyed and well received.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the foster teacher program and its implementation in shaping the character of students, describe the obstacles and solutions of foster teachers in shaping the character of students, and examine the relationship between the foster teacher program and Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are first, the foster teacher program in shaping the character of students at SMP Negeri 5 Batukliang is a program that builds teacher-parent relationships for students at school with routine interactions every day and weekly meetings in groups. Second, the implementation of the foster teacher program in shaping the character of students was manifested in the formation of characters developed at SMP Negeri 5 Batukliang namely honesty, discipline, responsibility, religion, and courtesy. Third, the obstacles encountered in running the foster teacher program are the lack of concern for foster teachers in schools, the lack of quick response to guide and find solutions when problems occur with their foster children, the tight schedule of teaching and teaching in other schools, the lack of consistency in making or filling out weekly activity progress reports of foster participants. The solution is that students who often do not go to school are given an individual approach outside of the schedule for implementing the foster teacher program, building intense communication with student guardians including carrying out home visits, and maximum guidance

Abstract

This research discusses the paradigms of traditionalism, modernism and postmodernism in Islamic education. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a library study type of research. Researchers try to dig up information and knowledge from various existing literature and references. Literature that serves as a reference about educational paradigms takes the form of books, notes, newspapers, research journals, and comments from educational figures. After all the data has been collected, the step to analyze the data is content analysis. by comparing and analyzing phenomena with theory, then the researcher analyzes the data and draws conclusions. The results of this study reveal that the paradigm developed to the postmodern paradigm as part of the critique of the modern paradigm. Postmodernism is a style of thinking that was born as a reaction to modernist thought which was considered to have many shortcomings and caused various human problems. The postmodern education paradigm refers to a curriculum that can change at the implementation level because the object of implementation, namely students also participate in it (decentralization). On the other hand, the postmodernism curriculum gives students a role as key players in the curriculum. Students can think critically, freely, and be creative with the knowledge they gain. However, this creative thinking process must also receive guidance from teachers who serve as facilitators or consultation media for students so that they do not get off track

Abstract

This study aims to identify the use of app-based interactive quizzes in joyful learning. This study uses a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. Reference sources came from journal articles and books relevant to the discussion obtained from portals or official journal indexing websites. After obtaining the articles, the next step is to tabulate them based on the main discussion in the writing that has been compiled. The data analysis technique in this research uses content analysis. The results of this study show that joyful learning is urgent to be applied in learning, in order to produce optimal, participatory, creative and fun learning. Joyful learning is the answer to various learning problems. The use of application platforms for interactive quizzes can be integrated in joyful learning. There are several applications that support this, including kahoot!, quizizz and wordwall. These three applications can be used in learning, especially for interactive quizzes, to see students' learning progress and evaluation, train critical thinking and provide a more meaningful learning experience for students. These applications also have diverse and interesting features so that they can be organized to be more friendly and certainly relevant to the digital era as it is today.
