Abstract

This study evaluates the quality of public services at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Surabaya by focusing on two SERVQUAL dimensions: responsiveness and empathy. The research is motivated by public complaints related to slow service processes, unclear information delivery, and insufficient empathy from service officers. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected through surveys distributed to 45 service users. The analysis involved validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 24. The results indicate that responsiveness and empathy positively influence public satisfaction, accounting for 59.8% of the variance, while 40.2% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. Among the two dimensions, empathy has a more dominant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.596 and a significance level of 0.001 (p < 0.05), compared to responsiveness, which shows a coefficient of 0.270 and a significance level of 0.099. These findings suggest that personal attention, friendliness, and effective communication from service officers have a greater impact on satisfaction than service speed alone. The study implies that improving public service quality should prioritize strengthening empathy, interpersonal communication skills, and a human-centered service culture. This research also contributes theoretically by emphasizing service quality evaluation based on users’ direct experiences, providing a strategic foundation for developing more responsive and citizen-oriented public services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between meaning in life and career anxiety among final-year students in Bekasi City. This study involved 164 respondents who were final-year students, both those domiciled and studying in Bekasi City and those domiciled in Bekasi City and studying in the Greater Jakarta area. The study used a quantitative approach with a non-probability sampling technique through a purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out using two measuring instruments, namely the meaning in life scale and the career anxiety scale arranged in the form of a Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out with the help of JASP software version 0.19.3.0. A correlation test was used to examine the relationship between the two research variables. The results of the analysis showed a significance value (p > 0.05), which indicated that there was no significant relationship between meaning in life and career anxiety in final-year students. This finding suggests that students' career anxiety levels are not always influenced by their sense of meaning in life.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of students’ interest in Social Studies (IPS) learning. Grade VII students often experience difficulties in understanding and remembering Social Studies material. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using flash card learning media for Social Studies learning in Grade VII at MTs Darussalam Aryojeding Tulungagung. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D), employing the Borg and Gall development model.  The flash card learning media developed in this study were validated by subject matter experts, media experts, and Social Studies teachers. The research subjects were 26 students of Grade VII B at MTs Darussalam Aryojeding Tulungagung. The results of the validity tests showed a score of 83% from the subject matter expert, 86% from the media expert, and 85% from the teacher. The effectiveness test of the media product using the Paired Sample T-test showed a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than the 0.05 threshold, indicating that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. This demonstrates that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes before and after using the flash card learning media. In conclusion, this study confirms that the flash card learning media on the topic of environmental pollution for Grade VII B at MTs Darussalam Aryojeding Tulungagung is considered valid by experts and effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Academic stress, such as the burden of assignments, exam pressure, and the obligation to complete a thesis, can potentially cause various negative impacts, one of which is sleep quality issues. This study aims to examine how academic stress affects students' sleep quality based on empirical findings from various previous studies. The method used was a qualitative approach with a literature study design. Data sources were drawn from national scientific journals and reference books relevant to the topic of academic stress and students' sleep quality. A literature search was conducted through the Google Scholar database, and the collected data were analyzed using content analysis methods to determine the interrelationships between variables, the patterns of relationships found, the trends in the results, and the main conclusions of the studies reviewed. The results of the study showed that the majority of students fell into the medium to high academic stress category and had poor sleep quality. Academic stress was significantly associated with various sleep disorders, including difficulty initiating sleep, insufficient sleep time, and the habit of waking up at night. Physiologically, stress triggers increased activity of the sympathetic nervous system and stress hormones, while psychologically, it causes significant anxiety and rumination that contribute to decreased sleep quality in students. Therefore, it is recommended that students adopt stress management and healthy sleep habits, and that educational institutions provide support programs to improve students' well-being and quality of life.

Abstract

Antisocial behavior is a psychosocial phenomenon that has a significant impact on individual development and the educational climate in schools. This behavior is characterized by violations of social norms, aggressiveness, low empathy, and withdrawal from the social environment. This article aims to comprehensively examine the causes, manifestations, and counseling intervention strategies in dealing with antisocial behavior in students. The method used is a literature review by examining 15 scientific articles that meet the research relevance criteria. The results show that antisocial behavior is influenced by internal factors such as depression, low moral identity, and moral disengagement, as well as external factors such as parenting patterns, peer interactions, and social media use. Effective intervention strategies include group counseling services, religious approaches, collaboration between schools and families, and character education reinforcement. These findings emphasize the importance of guidance and counseling in the early detection, prevention, and comprehensive management of antisocial behavior in educational settings.

Abstract

The development of electronic systems is one of the consequences of the changing times. The development of electronic systems has encouraged the use of buying and selling platforms, which were initially conducted conventionally to shift to buying and selling practices conducted through e-commerce. This has encouraged sellers to comply with Indonesian law, which requires certification, one of which is identity registration However, unlike the visualization of electronic system security and privacy policies Trustmarks, there is no visualization of certification for identity registration, which hinders the provision of information to consumers regarding the authenticity of identity registration recognition given to sellers. The research method used is normative juridical with a qualitative approach, accompanied by data collection through literature study. This study shows that the visualization of identity registration certificates is urgent to implement because it will influence the running of electronic commerce, such as in terms of increasing consumer confidence in protection guarantees in accordance with security standards. In addition, the visualization of identity registration certificates will show compliance with existing regulations.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of teachers in the implementation of the joyful learning method in hijaiyah letter learning in Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al Muslihun. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of teachers in the application of the joyful learning method in hijaiyah letter learning, identify the form of implementation of the joyful learnig method, and identify obstacles faced in its implementation. The background of this research is based on the low ability of students to recognize and pronounce hijaiyah letters correctly, so a fun and effective learning method is needed. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that teachers have an important role as facilitators, motivators, and innovators in educational games, as well as interactive methods. The form of implementation of joyful learning in learning hijaiyah letters is carried out through letter card games and the use of interesting visual media. However, there are several obstacles such as limited learning media, students' abilities and limited learning time. Therefore, teachers' creativity and adequate support of facilities and infrastructure are needed to optimize the application of these methods.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in preventing bullying behavior among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Kadatua, South Buton Regency. Bullying, which is prevalent at the junior high school level, negatively impacts students’ mental health, learning motivation, and the overall school climate. PAI teachers play a strategic role in fostering students’ religious character through verbal strategies (advice, reprimands, motivation, dialogue) and non-verbal strategies (role modeling, religious practices, and a religious school culture). This research employs a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and seventh-grade students. The findings reveal that religious character development through activities such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, and moral reinforcement effectively reduces bullying behavior. Supporting factors include school and parental involvement, while inhibiting factors consist of students’ lack of awareness and limited facilities. The study concludes that the internalization of Islamic values through the role of PAI teachers is effective in creating a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment.

Abstract

The problem of poverty in the Johar Baru area remains a serious challenge for the Government. Based on Law Number 13 of 2011 concerning Handling the Poor and Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities, the state is obliged to provide protection and guarantee the rights of persons with disabilities. As an implementation at the regional level, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, through Governor Regulation Number 44 of 2022, implemented the Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ) program, which is a non-cash social assistance of IDR 300,000.00 per month for residents with disabilities. This study aims to describe the implementation of the KPDJ program and analyze the extent to which the Government is able to meet the basic needs of persons with disabilities in the Johar Baru area. The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach, with researchers as the main instrument. The results found that the implementation of the KPDJ program has not been running optimally, reflected in the amount of assistance that is still far below the standard of decent living needs, as well as the quota of beneficiaries and access to affordable food that is not evenly distributed. This research is expected to lead to a review of the amount of assistance, an expansion of recipient quotas, and strengthening cross-sector coordination so that people with disabilities can access all program benefits fairly and equitably.

Abstract

This study examines audience behavior in consuming career education content on TikTok as a form of nonformal learning. The rapid growth of social media has transformed how individuals access information, including career-related knowledge. This research aims to analyze user motivations, consumption patterns, and responses toward career education content. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving 54 respondents aged 20–30 years who have accessed career-related content on TikTok. Data were collected through open-ended questionnaires and content analysis of the TikTok account @Vinamuliana. The findings reveal that information needs are the primary motivation for content consumption, followed by self-improvement and inspiration. In terms of consumption patterns, most users access content through the For You Page (FYP), indicating the significant role of platform algorithms, although some users actively search for content. User responses vary, ranging from real actions such as improving CVs and applying tips, to understanding without action, and no response at all. These results suggest that TikTok functions not only as an entertainment platform but also as an effective nonformal learning medium that provides practical and relevant career information. The study implies that short-form, visual, and practical content can enhance user engagement and support learning outcomes in digital environments.
