Abstract

This research discusses the role of higher education institutions in community service as the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the fields of education and social welfare. Through the community service activities in Kota Pari Village, this study explores the interaction between students and the community in identifying and seeking solutions to social problems. The results of the study indicate that this service not only strengthens social relationships but also provides valuable experiences for students in understanding social realities. Additionally, this activity serves as an effective means for the application of knowledge and the development of leadership character and social awareness. This research is expected to serve as a basis for the development of more effective and sustainable community service programs in the future.

Abstract

This article discusses the management of Islamic boarding school-based madrasa at MTs Al Falah Jatirokeh Brebes, which aims to integrate religious education with the formal education system in order to create graduates who are competent in both academic and moral aspects. In facing the challenges of modern education, this research wants to explore the management model applied in this madrasa. The research method used is qualitative research with a field approach, which involves interviews, observation and document analysis to collect in-depth data regarding madrasa management practices. The research results show that the Islamic boarding school-based madrasa management at MTs Al Falah Jatirokeh Brebes has succeeded in integrating the Islamic and general education curriculum, with an emphasis on active learning through interactive methodology. Apart from that, the implementation of digital classes has improved the quality of education and attracted students' interest in learning. However, the challenge of social stigma towards Islamic boarding schools is still an obstacle that needs to be overcome so that community support for these madrasas can increase.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode imitasi dan hafalan (Mimicry Memorization) terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan (pra eksperimen (one group pretest-posttest desain). Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan paired sample test dengan bantuan SPSS Statistics 22. Hasil mean pre-test sebesar 50 dan hasil post-test sebesar 77,2 terdapat pengaruh. Secara alamiah hasil akan didapatkan 213,0 lebih besar dari 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh antara pre-test dan post-test terhadap hasil keterampilan berbicara. Dari tabel Paired Sample Test yang telah dipaparkan di atas diketahui bahwa nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,5 (sig. 0,000< 0,05). Dengan nilai t_hitung SPSS Statistics 22 sebesar 23,497 dan t_(tabil) diperoleh nilai sebesar 2,30600 sehingga t_hitung > t_(tabil) sehingga H_o ditolak. dan 〖 H〗_a dapat diterima. Hal ini berarti penerapan metode meniru dan menghafal efektif terhadap keterampilan berbicara di Lembaga Baituridhwan Tangah Sawah Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Adapun hasil penelitian penerapan ejaan bergerak serta pengaruh dan hasil pendidikan penerapan ejaan bergerak dalam pengajaran bahasa arab khususnya pada keterampilan menulis. Hasil pre-test antara 34,07 dan post-test 73,33 terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan. Ada hasil yang alami. Akibat wajarnya mendapatkan 0,183 lebih besar dari 0,05. Hasil homogenitas mendapatkan 0,022 lebih besar dari 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh antara pre-test dan post-test terhadap hasil pendidikan kemampuan menulis. Dari tabel Paired Sample Test terkait di atas diketahui nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 dan terkecil 0,05 (sig. 0,000< 0,05). Dengan nilai t_hitung SPSS Statistics 22, 11,640 dan t_(tabal) diperoleh nilai sebesar 2,30600 sehingga t_hitung > t_(tabel) sampai dengan H_o ditolak, dan 〖H〗_a diterima.

Abstract

Scouting education management plays an important role in the formation of students' character, especially through the Scout Group (Gugus Depan) activities in schools. This study aims to analyze the implementation of scouting education management and its impact on the formation of students' character based on the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach and literature study. The SLR method is used to collect and evaluate literature related to the implementation of scouting management, while the literature study supports the analysis of relevant concepts and theories. The results of the study indicate that scouting education management includes planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising structured scouting activities, with a focus on character values ​​such as discipline, responsibility, and leadership. These findings confirm that scouting education makes a significant contribution to the formation of students' character. This article provides strategic recommendations for optimizing Gudep management in supporting character education in schools.

Abstract

This study examines the language development of children aged 3-4 years. The purpose of this research is to understand how language development occurs in this age group. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with the primary informants being the child’s immediate family members, including parents and siblings. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study indicate that language development in 3-year-old children encompasses five main aspects. First, the phonetic aspect, which refers to the sounds of language. Second, the morphological aspect, which involves changes in word forms and their relation to meaning and word groups. Third, the syntactic aspect, which concerns the arrangement of words including Subject, Predicate, Object, and Complement to form meaning. Fourth, the semantic aspect, focusing on the understanding of meaning in each word. Fifth, the pragmatic aspect, which involves the polite use of language in accordance with the context of the situation. Overall, almost all indicators of language development in 3-4-year-old children were achieved very well. Only in the pragmatic aspect did the child’s development reach an adequate or moderately developing stage. However, in general, the language ability of 3-4-year-old children can be categorized as excellent or meeting the expected developmental indicators.

Abstract

This research focuses on the problem of students' low ability to write narrative essays. The aim of this research is to help students develop narrative writing skills by applying the PWIM (Picture Word Induction Model) learning model. This approach involves the use of an outline of the essay as well as proper use of capital letters and punctuation. The PWIM model is specifically designed to improve the narrative writing skills of students in class IV of SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research subjects consisted of 30 class IV students. Preliminary test results showed that only 2 students (9.09%) achieved the minimum integrity standard (KKM) of 66.7 in writing narrative texts, while 27 other students (90.91%) did not meet this standard. The research was conducted in three cycles and the tools used included observation, interviews, field notes and tests. Research findings show an increase in the aspects of main ideas, essay outlines, and the use of capital letters and full stops. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the PWIM model effectively improves narrative writing skills in fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta.

Abstract

Speaking is a vital linguistic skill as it is used in everyday life. However, research indicates that students' speaking abilities remain low, primarily due to limited resources to practice speaking in class and a lack of confidence. One solution to enhance this skill is by implementing the role-playing method in the learning process. This study aims to evaluate how well the role-playing approach can improve elementary school students' speaking skills. The study utilizes a literature review by analyzing eleven relevant articles published in the last five years, sourced from Google Scholar. The findings reveal that the role-playing method is an engaging and innovative teaching approach that effectively helps students develop their speaking abilities, particularly at the elementary level

Abstract

The component of language development in children that is uninteresting and less fascinating is what prompted this research to be conducted. In addition, kids frequently struggle when it comes to effectively communicating with their peers, instructors, and the world around them. The approach of role playing is the answer that will allow you to overcome this obstacle. This study will use the approach of role playing to investigate the speaking abilities of primary school pupils in order to determine how well they can communicate. Learning materials may be mastered via the use of the role playing approach, which involves students acting out the roles of inanimate objects and living things. This helps students develop their imaginations and appreciation for the subject matter. The research is conducted using a procedure known as a literature review, which involves looking at a variety of library sources that are pertinent to the subject of the study. According to the findings of the research, the method of role acting has the potential to enhance the acquisition of Indonesian by primary school pupils in terms of their speaking abilities. For the purpose of this study, a literature evaluation of publications published during the past five years was conducted, and a total of fifteen articles that fulfilled the requirements were collected.

Abstract

This study's objective is to provide a description of one approach to enhancing reading abilities, namely through the utilization of the phonics technique. In addition, the purpose of this research is to investigate the efficacy of the phonics approach in improving reading abilities in the context of language acquisition. Phonics is a teaching strategy that places an emphasis on the connection between individual letters and the sounds they represent. This method assists pupils in better comprehending the structures of words and how they should be spoken. All of the participants in this study are elementary school pupils, and the research is conducted using a quantitative methodology and an experimental design. This strategy was implemented, and the findings of the study demonstrate that students' reading skills significantly improved after it was implemented. This development was notably noticeable in the areas of letter recognition, pronunciation, and word comprehension. Data collection tools in this study involved searching journals online through platforms like Google Scholar. This study aims to analyze how the phonics method can enhance students' reading skills in the context of Indonesian language learning. This study investigates the efficacy of the phonics approach in increasing students' reading abilities, including decoding skills and reading comprehension, by conducting a literature evaluation of fifteen research publications that have been published over the past five years. The findings of the review suggest that the phonics technique is an excellent means of enhancing the reading abilities of kids, and this holds true for students who have normal reading abilities as well as students who are trying to improve their reading abilities. This makes the phonics method a relevant approach for implementation in Indonesian language learning.
