Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of teacher competence and compensation on student satisfaction and its impact on school performance at senior high schools in Pamulang District, South Tangerang City. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to student respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that teacher competence has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction, with a coefficient of 0.223, a T-statistic of 3.176, and a P-value of 0.002. Teacher competence also has a positive and significant effect on school performance, with a coefficient of 0.593, a T-statistic of 7.145, and a P-value of 0.000. Furthermore, compensation has a highly significant positive effect on student satisfaction, with a coefficient of 0.747, a T-statistic of 11.050, and a P-value of 0.000. Compensation also has a positive and significant effect on school performance, with a coefficient of 0.472, a T-statistic of 3.257, and a P-value of 0.001. However, student satisfaction shows a significant but negative effect on school performance, with a coefficient of -0.426, a T-statistic of 2.781, and a P-value of 0.006. The findings also reveal that student satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between teacher competence and compensation and school performance, but with a negative direction. These findings indicate that improving student satisfaction needs to be balanced with academic quality standards to maintain overall school performance.

Abstract

The increasing dynamics of the business environment driven by globalization, digitalization, and economic uncertainty have intensified the complexity of strategy implementation within organizations. The high rate of implementation failure indicates a significant gap between strategic planning and execution. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the key factors influencing strategy implementation through the integration of organizational structure, strategic leadership, organizational culture, resource allocation, and management control systems. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using data sourced from Google Scholar, SINTA-indexed journals, and other accredited publications within the 2020–2025 period, with a total of 25 selected articles analyzed using thematic synthesis. The findings reveal that successful strategy implementation is not determined by a single variable but by the synergy among organizational elements, where strategic leadership and organizational culture act as primary drivers, while organizational structure and management control systems function as operational enablers. Furthermore, appropriate resource allocation strengthens the overall effectiveness of strategy implementation. These findings indicate that an integrative and system-based approach is essential for enhancing the success of strategy implementation in modern organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competence of the ideal Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) teacher based on the perspective of grade IX students at SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda. Teacher competence is an important aspect in supporting the success of the learning process and improving the quality of education. The ideal PJOK teacher is expected to have four main competencies, namely pedagogic, personality, professional, and social competencies that are integrated in daily learning practices. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of 45 students in grade IX. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling to provide equal opportunities to each member of the population. Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study showed that the profile of PJOK teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda was in the good category. This can be seen from students' assessments of teachers' abilities in managing learning, showing a good attitude, having professional competence, and being able to interact socially well in the school environment. In addition, PJOK teachers are also considered to be able to be role models in their daily attitudes and behaviors. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that PJOK teachers have met the criteria as ideal teachers according to the student's perspective. However, competency improvement still needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis to support a more optimal quality of learning in the future.

Abstract

Human trafficking constitutes one of the most serious and systematic forms of transnational crime in the era of globalization. Indonesia, as a country of origin, transit, and destination for human trafficking, faces complex challenges in enforcing international criminal law. This study aims to normatively analyze the legal position of human trafficking as a transnational crime from the perspective of international criminal law, while evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of Law Number 21 of 2007 on the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons in Indonesia. Employing a statute approach and a conceptual approach, this study finds a significant gap between international legal norms as stipulated in the Palermo Protocol 2000 and Indonesia's domestic regulations, particularly regarding the definition of victims, recovery mechanisms, and inter-agency coordination. The novelty of this research lies in the identification of three structural weaknesses in the implementation of the Anti-Trafficking Law: (1) normative ambiguity in defining exploitation; (2) weak restitution and compensation mechanisms for victims; and (3) institutional misalignment between central and regional Anti-Trafficking Task Forces. This study recommends a partial revision of the Anti-Trafficking Law and strengthening of vertical-horizontal coordination among law enforcement agencies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze listeners’ interpretations of the songs Nina, O, Tuan, and Tarot by Feast based on Wolfgang Iser’s reception theory. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-reception design. The data consist of listeners’ comments on YouTube containing interpretations and emotional responses. Data collection was conducted through textual observation of song lyrics and digital document analysis using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed thematically through data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and conclusion drawing, guided by the concepts of gaps and aesthetic response. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that the meaning of song lyrics is dynamic and not fixed but constructed through interaction between text and listeners via a gap-filling process. Nina is interpreted as reflecting family relationships and motivation, O, Tuan as experiences of loss and emotional awareness, and Tarot as representations of uncertainty and existential search. These interpretations are influenced by listeners’ social backgrounds, experiences, and emotional conditions. This study confirms that song meaning is open and constructed according to the listeners’ horizon of experience in digital culture.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the contemporary era faces complex challenges in maintaining harmony amid the currents of pluralism and the potential for social polarization. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The novelty of this research lies in offering a synthesis between humanistic thought and Islamic transcendental values, which are practically manifested in PAI learning practices. The implementation of theocentric humanism values in PAI learning results in: (a) curriculum reconstruction from a textual approach to a contextual human-centered approach, (b) interactive dialogue that fosters constructive curiosity, and (c) teacher role modeling as humanistic educators. In the model of internalizing theocentric humanism values that effectively builds a tolerant character in society, there are three core stages: (a) the transcendence stage (orientation setting), (b) the humanization stage (empathy and action), and (c) the liberation stage (character independence). In conclusion, the implementation of theocentric humanism values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is proven effective in transforming students’ attitudes from passive tolerance to active tolerance. An effective model for internalizing theocentric humanism values in fostering sustainable tolerant character is the Three-Pillar Approach: Transcendence, Humanization, and Liberation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of inclusive education services in elementary schools by examining service profiles, learning interactions, innovative strategies, and the challenges arising during implementation. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to gain a profound understanding of inclusive education practices in schools. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with principals, teachers, and students, participant observation in classrooms, and documentation of instructional materials and school records. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with source triangulation to ensure validity. The results indicate that inclusive education services have undergone adaptive and collaborative transformations. Schools demonstrate a commitment to providing equitable learning opportunities, while teachers effectively adapt instructional methods to meet students' needs through verbal, visual, and kinesthetic approaches. Peer interactions have developed positively through mutual assistance, empathy, tolerance, and cooperation. Innovative learning strategies, such as educational games, group discussions, and collaborative activities, have proven effective in increasing student motivation and engagement. Despite obstacles such as limited facilities, diverse student abilities, and time constraints, schools and teachers have managed these challenges through schedule adjustments, creative media utilization, and individualized mentoring. This transformation supports the creation of a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable learning environment.

Abstract

This study conducts a comparative analysis of the financial performance of 17 property sector issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2022-2024,following the full implementation of PSAK 115 on Revenue for contracts with customers. Using a descriptive-comparative research design with secondary data source from annual financial reports, this study examines four key financial ratios: Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), Total Asset Turnover (TAT), and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR). The result reveal significant disparities in financial performance across issuers. PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA) recorded the highest ROA at 27% in 2023, while PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS) demonstrated the most balanced and consistent performance across all four indicators throughout the observation period. Industry wide averages indicate improving profitability (ROA rising from 4% to 6%) and declining leverage (DAR declining from 43% to 38%), suggesting a positive adaptation trend following the adoption of PSAK 115. Revenue recognition patterns varied considerably across issuers, reflecting differences in contract structures, project completion timelines, and product segment characteristics. These findings underscore the importance of olistic financial ratio analysis in evaluating property issuers under the new revenue recognition standard.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of separating personal and business finances and its implications for financial stability and transparency among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cipayung District, Depok City. The primary issue faced by MSME owners is a low understanding of basic accounting practices, particularly in segregating personal and business transactions, which leads to inaccurate financial reporting and difficulties in business decision-making. Methodology: This research employed a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation involving MSME owners. Findings: The results indicate that most business owners still mix personal and business finances, resulting in a lack of transparency, difficulty in measuring business performance, and limited access to external funding sources. Financial separation is proven to have positive implications for more systematic financial reporting, increased accountability, and ease of business performance evaluation. Furthermore, the implementation of accounting practices, such as separate transaction recording, the use of dedicated business bank accounts, and the preparation of basic financial statements, can enhance financial stability and external trust. Conclusion: Therefore, continuous education and assistance are required for MSME owners to improve accounting literacy, enabling them to consistently apply financial separation to support business sustainability and growth.
