Abstract

General anesthesia is a commonly used anesthetic technique in various surgical procedures. One indicator of the success of anesthesia is the patient's recovery time after surgery. Recovery time can be influenced by several factors such as age, body mass index (BMI), type of surgery, and duration of surgery. This study aims to describe the recovery time of post-general anesthesia patients at Emanuel General Hospital, Banjarnegara. This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive design. The study sample consisted of 94 respondents selected using total sampling technique according to the inclusion criteria. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that most patients had a fast recovery time (≤15 minutes) as many as 89 respondents (94.7%), while patients with a recovery time of more than 15 minutes were 5 respondents (5.3%). Factors affecting recovery time in this study included age, body mass index, type of surgery, and duration of surgery. The conclusion of this study shows that most post-general anesthesia patients at Emanuel General Hospital, Banjarnegara have a fast recovery time.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is a key indicator for assessing the quality of pharmaceutical services in primary healthcare facilities. High-quality pharmacy services can improve patient trust, medication adherence, and therapeutic outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate patient satisfaction with pharmaceutical services at the Pharmacy Installation of Bergas Public Health Center, Semarang Regency. A descriptive quantitative study with a prospective approach was conducted involving 93 outpatients selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on the five SERVQUAL dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Responses were analyzed descriptively using a Likert scale. The findings showed that the overall patient satisfaction level reached 78.76%, indicating that patients were generally satisfied with the services provided. The highest scores were obtained in the empathy (81.81%) and reliability (81.70%) dimensions. Meanwhile, tangibles (78.18%), assurance (77.06%), and responsiveness (75.09%) were categorized as satisfactory. These results suggest that pharmaceutical services at Bergas Public Health Center have largely met patient expectations, particularly regarding staff competence, communication, and attention to patient needs. However, improvements in responsiveness and supporting facilities are still necessary to further enhance service quality and patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Hypertension is included in the group of non-communicable diseases and is a world health issue with a fairly high mortality rate. Individuals can be considered to have hypertension if their blood pressure rises above the standard limit, which is above 140/90 mmHg. The study was conducted to examine factors such as diet, physical activity, and family history with the incidence of hypertension at the age of 30-59 years at the Kebomas Health Center. The number of hypertensive patients in health centers is quite high and every year it increases so researchers want to conduct research to find out more about hypertension. The methods used are quantitative and cross-sectional design. The population and samples were taken from patients who visited the Kebomas Health Center within 3 days who met the criteria of 80 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling and chi square test to analyze the data. This study obtained a significant association with significant family history factors of <0.001, significant dietary level <0.001 and significant physical activity level 0.015 with the incidence of hypertension at the age of 30-59 years at the Kebomas Health Center, and hypertension patients are encouraged to check blood pressure consistently so that it can be controlled and do not cause other side effects and the health center is expected to be able to provide promotive and preventive services to patients hypertension.

Abstract

Background: Waste management remains one of the environmental issues requiring serious attention, particularly in the area surrounding the Rawa Kucing Final Disposal Site (TPA), Tangerang City. Although the Rawa Kucing Final Disposal Site has implemented a controlled landfill system, waste management practices in the surrounding residential areas remain far from optimal. Objective: This study aims to identify the factors associated with waste management among housewives living around the Rawa Kucing Final Disposal Site (TPA) in 2025. Methods: This study employed a cross-sectional design with univariate and bivariate analyses. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to housewives residing around the Rawa Kucing Final Disposal Site. The variables examined included age, education, income, knowledge, attitudes, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, and the waste management behavior of housewives. Results: The findings revealed that age, education, knowledge, and attitudes significantly influenced the waste management behavior of housewives. Housewives with higher educational attainment, better knowledge, and more positive attitudes toward health tended to demonstrate better waste management behavior. Conclusion: Age, education, knowledge, and attitudes were found to significantly influence the waste management behavior of housewives.
