Jaliye : Jurnal Abdimas, Loyalitas, dan Edukasi merupakan jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Al Washliyah (Univa) Medan. Jurnal ini memuat publikasi hasil kegiatan pengabdian dan pemberdayaan masyarakat berupa implementasi berbagai bidang ilmu diantaranya pendidikan, teknik, pertanian, sosial humaniora, dan ekonomi. Dalam satu tahun Jaliye diterbitkan sebanyak 2 (dua) kali yaitu pada bulan Juni dan Desember. Abstract

Sistem pemasaran yang masih monoton yakni berupa pemasaran produk yang hanya dilakukan dari pemilik usaha saja tidak dapat menaikkan angka penjualan yang signifikan. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman, pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran produk bisnis melalui konsep WOM (World of Mouth) atau dikenal dengan pemasaran produk dari mulut ke mulut yang berguna menjangkau cakupan konsumen yang lebih luas lagi sehingga dapat meningkatkan keuntungan usaha. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan berupa sosialisasi kepada pemilik usaha karyawan pada Usaha Dagang Doni Permana Desa Sukaraya Kecamatan Pancur Batu Deli Serdang dengan jumlah peserta 25 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini ditemukan bahwa sosialisasi yang dilakukan tentang peningkatan strategi pemasaran melalui WOM mampu memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan bagi peserta dalam meningkatkan strategi untuk minat beli konsumen (daya beli) dan volume penjualan produk termasuk juga laba usaha.

Abstract

Most RA teachers still face challenges in developing online learning tools that suit children's needs. Technological skills and appropriate pedagogical approaches are determining factors for the success of online teaching at the RA level. The aim is to increase teacher competency, increase student involvement and change learning approaches. The methods that will be used are Initial Information Collection, Training Design, Training Implementation, Learning Tool Development, and Learning Tool Testing. an overview of the results that have been achieved as well as a discussion regarding the impacts and changes that occurred after attending the training. Community service in the form of online learning tool development training for RA teachers has had a significant impact in improving competence and skills in online learning. concluded that this training had a positive impact on the student learning experience, encouraging more active and interactive involvement. The results of the implementation are, More than 90% of RA teachers actively participate in all training sessions. The training modules are designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the basic concepts of developing online learning tools. RA teachers have developed online learning tools based on the modules provided. have been studied, the learning tools developed are tested with students. The results of the trials are used to make improvements and adjustments, producing devices that are more effective and suit the characteristics of young children.

Abstract

The use of technology is inseparable from the daily lives of students in Indonesia, but many still overlook the importance of possessing good digital well-being. This community service activity aims to raise students’ awareness of digital well-being through slogans in English. The community service was carried out at MAS Alwashliyah Gedung Johor for the tenth-grade students, involving 5 lecturers and 1 university student. The survey shows that most students are not yet aware of the importance of performing good digital well-being practice. In this workshop, students received information about digital-wellbeing and contributed to raising awareness among the community through slogans about digital well-being in English. The community service activity received positive feedback from students, as evidenced by the positive notes shared by students after participating in this workshop.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta Muhammadiyah 1 Medan pada tanggal 16 September 2025 dengan tujuan memperkuat literasi kritis dan kesadaran gender siswa melalui unit pembelajaran Voice and Visibility. Unit ini dirancang sebagai respon atas minimnya integrasi isu kesetaraan gender (SDG 5) dalam buku ajar Bahasa Inggris Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis genre (GBA), problem-based learning (PBL), dan project-based learning (PjBL) dengan durasi 90 menit, melibatkan 30 siswa kelas XII. Aktivitas meliputi analisis teks diskusi, penulisan teks argumentatif, serta proyek kreatif berupa kampanye digital tentang kesetaraan gender. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu memahami isu gender secara kritis, menyampaikan pesan aksi nyata melalui poster dan kampanye digital, serta menunjukkan keterlibatan kolaboratif dalam proyek. Respon siswa positif, dengan ketertarikan pada isu gender sebagai hal baru yang belum pernah mereka pelajari sebelumnya, meskipun mereka menyarankan adanya aktivitas warm-up untuk meningkatkan suasana belajar. Kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai keberlanjutan dan kesetaraan gender dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris sebagai dukungan terhadap pencapaian SDG 5.

Abstract

Program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bertujuan pada penguatan pembelajaran geometri dalam matematika di SD Negeri No. 067249 Medan, berdasarkan pendekatan MBNK, yang menggabungkan matematika dengan nilai-nilai nasionalis dan kemerdekaan. Program ini mencakup empat kegiatan: pertama, memperkenalkan dan menjelaskan cara menggunakan geometri MBNK, kedua, membahas topik geometri dan menyelesaikan soal matematika terkait MBNK, ketiga, membuat lembar kerja pembelajaran geometri MBNK (LKS), dan keempat, pelatihan cara menggunakan aplikasi Geogebra. Program ini menggunakan beberapa metode pengajaran, seperti ceramah, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, tanya jawab, dan pemberian tugas. Program ini berlangsung selama empat pertemuan, masing-masing dengan fokus khusus dan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Empat puluh guru dari SD Negeri No. 067249 Medan berpartisipasi dalam program ini. Hal ini berdampak positif pada para guru. Sebelum program, para guru merasa pelajaran matematika membosankan dan merasa stres. Mereka kurang terampil dalam menggunakan aplikasi pendidikan matematika. Setelah program, dilakukan evaluasi, dan para guru menunjukkan minat yang lebih besar dalam mengajar. Kemampuan mereka dalam menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran matematika, khususnya Geogebra, meningkat secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of audiovisual media as a differentiated learning strategy at MTs Nurul Islam Indonesia. The background of this research is based on the diversity of students’ characteristics in terms of learning styles, abilities, and levels of understanding, which requires adaptive and inclusive learning strategies. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. The results indicate that audiovisual media were systematically utilized in the learning process as an introduction to the material, a means of concept explanation, and a tool for reinforcing students’ understanding. The integration of audiovisual media with group discussion activities was able to accommodate differences in students’ learning abilities, increase learning motivation and classroom participation, and enhance conceptual understanding. Furthermore, the role of teachers was found to be crucial in the successful implementation of differentiated learning, particularly in managing media use, facilitating discussions, and providing constructive feedback. This study concludes that the use of audiovisual media as a differentiated learning strategy can serve as an effective alternative to create meaningful, participatory, and equitable learning experiences in madrasah education.

Abstract

Technological developments require teachers to integrate interactive digital media to improve the quality of 21st-century learning. However, early observations at SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Beringin showed that the utilization of web-based learning media was not optimal despite the availability of supporting facilities. This community service activity aims to introduce the Wordwall platform as an interactive learning media solution and to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence in operating its features. The implementation method uses a learning-by-doing approach, which includes the preparation stage, workshops through lectures and demonstrations, independent practice in content creation, and evaluation. The results show a significant increase in teachers’ understanding and technical skills in developing digital learning media. Teachers were able to explore quiz features, games, and even printable formats (PDF) to overcome network constraints. In conclusion, this activity successfully narrowed the digital literacy gap and increased teacher motivation to create a more dynamic and student-centered learning environment at SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Beringin.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve knitting skills among students of Rumah Tahfidz Al-Fazz as an effort to develop creativity and economic independence. The main problem faced by the partner institution is the limited productive skills that can support students’ life skills beyond Qur’an memorization activities. The implementation method consisted of planning, training, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The training was conducted through the introduction of basic knitting concepts, tools and materials, fundamental knitting techniques, and hands-on practice in producing simple knitted products such as wallets and bags. The activity was carried out directly using a participatory approach to encourage active involvement of the students throughout the training process. The results showed that the students were able to understand basic knitting techniques and produce simple knitted products with a satisfactory level of neatness. In addition, the activity increased students’ creativity, self-confidence, and interest in entrepreneurship. In conclusion, knitting skills training is effective as a means of developing students’ life skills and has the potential to become a sustainable productive activity at Rumah Tahfidz Al-Fazz.
