Abstract

The rise of TikTok is particularly relevant in the food industry, where engaging visual content communicates product appeal. This study analyzes how halal food is represented in the TikTok account @amiirahanugrah, specifically regarding 7-Eleven Thailand products. The purpose is to identify the main themes and strategies used in presenting halal food. Using qualitative content analysis on three selected videos, the study reveals that the creator effectively acts as a "micro-halal ambassador" by integrating Islamic values into lifestyle content. The main findings indicate that halal perception is co-constructed through three key strategies: (1) the use of verbal religious expressions (e.g., Bismillah, Alhamdulillah) in non-ritual contexts; (2) visual transparency by displaying halal logos and ingredients; and (3) the demonstration of Islamic etiquette (adab) such as handwashing. Furthermore, audience analysis shows a mechanism of "social halal validation," where followers rely on trust in the creator's consistent persona and emotional tone rather than demanding formal verification, thereby effectively promoting cross-cultural halal tourism.

Abstract

With an emphasis on information system quality, information quality, and self-efficacy, this study investigates how accounting professionals and students perceive the function and effects of artificial intelligence (AI) in the accounting field. Data was gathered using a combination of methods, including questionnaires and in-depth interviews with a range of stakeholders, such as banking analysts, financial managers, and auditors. Multiple regression analysis shows that system and information quality have a significant impact on user satisfaction while self-efficacy does not.  User satisfaction is the primary factor influencing the use of AI.  Qualitatively, AI is believed to be useful for routine tasks, but its application to challenging decisions is restricted, and it faces challenges pertaining to technical, financial, and human resource readiness.  These results highlight the significance of human-AI cooperation, efficient training methods, and the moral application of digital transformation in accounting.

Abstract

Leadership in government requires skills not only in technical and rational aspects, but also in managing complex emotional and social dynamics. Emotional intelligence is one of the key factors determining leadership effectiveness, because it plays a role in building communication, managing conflict, and strengthening employee trust and motivation. This study aims to conceptually analyze the role of emotional intelligence in shaping leadership effectiveness in government environments, by reviewing relevant empirical research. The results of the review indicate that emotional intelligence has a significant influence on employee performance, affective commitment, moral behavior, and innovation. The discussion highlights the five main dimensions of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-control, empathy, motivation, and social skills that contribute to ethical decision-making and the creation of a harmonious work climate. Furthermore, the integration of emotional intelligence in leadership has been shown to strengthen integrity and minimize the potential for bureaucratic conflict. In conclusion, emotional intelligence is not only a personal ability, but also a strategic competency necessary to realize government leadership that is adaptive, has integrity, and is oriented towards humanistic public service.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of strategic leadership through the leadership practices of Kang Dedi Mulyadi as Governor of West Java. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study method, through searching various scientific sources and public policy documentation related to Dedi Mulyadi's leadership style. The analysis was conducted by comparing strategic leadership theories from various experts, such as Hughes, Yukl, and Suhardono, with the strategic practices and policies implemented by Dedi Mulyadi during his leadership. The results of the study show that Dedi Mulyadi's leadership is highly relevant to the characteristics of strategic leadership. This is reflected in his ability to formulate a long-term development vision, reprioritize pro-people budgets, implement innovative policies in the fields of infrastructure, education, and culture, and utilize social media as a means of public communication and social education. In addition, his leadership approach based on Sundanese local wisdom makes his public policies more humanistic, participatory, and rooted in the social values of the community. The conclusion of this study confirms that the strategic leadership practices implemented by Dedi Mulyadi are relevant to contemporary strategic leadership theory, particularly in terms of courage in decision-making, ability to manage change, focus on long-term results, and integration of cultural values into governance strategies. This leadership model can serve as an example of the application of contextual and locally-oriented strategic leadership in regional governance in Indonesia.

Abstract

Education and training programs for civil servants (ASN) have been intensified, yet bureaucratic performance, particularly in mining supervision, remains suboptimal. This study aims to examine the effect of education and training on ASN performance with competence as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM analysis on 41 respondents from the Inspector of Mines Office in North Maluku Province. This study found that education does not have a significant effect on either the competence or performance of civil servants. In contrast, training has a significant effect on competence but not directly on performance. Competence was proven to have a significant effect on performance and mediates the relationship between training and performance, but does not mediate the relationship between education and performance. These findings indicate that improvements in civil servant performance in the mineral and coal subsector are more strongly influenced by competencies gained through training rather than formal education, highlighting the strategic role of competency-based training programs in enhancing performance.

Abstract

This study examines the discourse of digitalization within Indonesia’s Merdeka Belajar education reform through the lens of critical theory and postmodern philosophy. Using Critical Discourse Analysis on three key policy documents, the 2020–2035 Indonesian Education Roadmap, Ministerial Decree No. 56/2022, and the Merdeka Mengajar Platform Guide—the study uncovers underlying power dynamics and ideological assumptions embedded in the national digitalization agenda. The analysis identifies three dominant themes: (1) the hegemony of technological-efficiency narratives, reflected in notable lexical disparities (for example, “digital” appears far more frequently than “character” in the Roadmap); (2) disciplinary mechanisms enforced through legal obligations to access state-mandated digital platforms; and (3) an instrumental rationality that narrows education to the development of digital talent. The study concludes that digitalization in Merdeka Belajar is not merely a technological transition, but a contested arena where power relations shape and potentially marginalize humanistic educational values.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly transformed public relations practices within government institutions. Social media has emerged as a strategic instrument for disseminating public information, emphasizing transparency, interactivity, and community participation. This study aims to analyze the role of the Public Relations Office of the West Java Provincial Government in managing the Instagram account @humas_jabar as an instrument for public dissemination. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2019), while Rogers’ (2003) Diffusion of Innovations theory served as the conceptual framework to understand the communication strategies implemented by Humas Jabar. The findings reveal that the @humas_jabar account is managed systematically through stages of planning, production, and content distribution, emphasizing message relevance, visual strength, and participatory public engagement. The communication strategies adopted reflect the five key attributes of innovation diffusion: relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability. Through a visual and interactive approach, Humas Jabar successfully establishes two-way communication between the government and the public, enhances public trust, and strengthens the image of the regional government as a transparent and responsive institution. Therefore, Instagram functions not only as an information medium but also as a strategic platform for realizing accountable and human-centered public communication governance in the digital era.

Abstract

Stress is a negative reaction that arises when an individual experiences excessive pressure resulting from demands, difficulties, or situations that exceed their ability to cope. This study aims to describe the level of stress among women who serve as Posyandu cadres in Pasir Angin Village, Megamendung District, Bogor. This research uses a quantitative approach with univariate analysis. The population consists of all Posyandu cadres in Pasir Angin Village, totaling 31 individuals, and the entire population was used as the sample. Data collection was conducted using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). The results show that most Posyandu cadres experience moderate stress, with 23 respondents (74.2%), followed by mild stress experienced by 6 respondents (19.4%), and severe stress by 2 respondents (6.5%). These findings indicate that the majority of respondents experience stress at a moderate level, reflecting psychological pressure that is still manageable but requires attention to prevent progression to severe stress. Psychological support and capacity building through stress management training, more equitable task distribution, and routine monitoring of the cadres’ psychological
