Abstract

This study traces the development of Christian religious education from its historical roots at Mount Sinai to its implementation in modern classrooms. This research explores the foundations of Christian religious education in the Old Testament, including the events of the giving of the Torah, the role of family and community in faith education, and the teaching methods used. This study also discusses how educational principles from the Old Testament are adapted and applied in the context of contemporary Christian religious education. The discussion includes the development of an Old Testament-based curriculum and teaching methods that are relevant for various levels of education. The challenges in translating ancient principles into modern practice are also analyzed. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of maintaining the essence of faith education while adapting to the needs of contemporary learners.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of product quality and attractiveness of alternatives on word of mouth given by customers through the role of customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Saba Indomedika faces challenges in maintaining product and service quality amidst intense competition. In this research, the population was 95 devices and the sample was 150 respondents from Saba Indomedika customers in West Kalimantan. To determine the research sample, a purposive sampling method was used. The data was processed using SmartPLS software version 4. This research found that there was a significant influence of product quality on customer satisfaction, then there was also an insignificant influence of the attractiveness of alternatives which influenced customer satisfaction, there was a significant and positive influence of product quality on customer recommendations. , there is an influence but not significant from the attractiveness of alternatives on customer recommendations, there is a significant influence from customer satisfaction on customer recommendations, then there is the role of customer satisfaction in indirectly influencing product quality on customer recommendations which is significant, on the contrary the research results reveal that there is no influence attractiveness of alternative to customer satisfaction and customer recommendations.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges faced by English teachers at vocational schools in East Kalimantan, Indonesia, amid the demands of the 21st century. It higlights the significant obtacles teachers encounter, including inadequate resources and facilities, which affect the quality of education. Using qualitative methods such as interviews, observations, and document analysis, the research provides an in-depth understanding of these challenges. The findings reveal that english teachers struggle with limited access to update learning materials and technology-based teaching tools. Purposive sampling was used to select experienced informants, ensuring the collecting of accurate and rich data. The study aims to offer insight and recommendations to improve the quality of English education in vocational schools, addressing resources limitations and fostering better learning outcomes for students in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of product quality, product price, and social media marketing on purchasing decisions for Wardah products. This research uses a quantitative method with a total of 58 respondents, using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria that consumers have purchased Wardah products at least twice. This research was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis method which was processed using SPSS version 21 software. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents. The results of this research show that product quality, product price, and social media marketing influence purchase decision for Wardah product.

Abstract

Promotion, pricing, and brand image synergistically influence purchasing decisions by capturing consumer attention, offering competitive value, and building trust and loyalty toward the brand. This study aims to analyze the influence of promotion, pricing, and brand image on purchasing decisions at Anna Cosmetics Online Shop in Palopo. The research was conducted on customers who shop at Anna Cosmetics Online Shop in Palopo, with a sample size of 30 people. The method used is non-probability sampling, specifically the saturated sampling technique, where all customers of Anna Cosmetics Online Shop in Palopo were used as samples in this study. Data were collected through interviews and observations using a questionnaire as the data collection tool, with a 5-point Likert scale to measure two main indicators. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression techniques. The analysis results show a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating that the independent variables collectively have a significant influence on the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.630 indicates that 63% of the variation in purchasing decisions (variable Y) can be explained by the promotion (X1), pricing (X2), and brand image (X3) variables, while the remaining 37% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

With the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), we need ti be able to use and deploy it as effectively as possible to avoid misuse. A chatbot is an AI system that simulates human conversation. If used correctly, chatbots could be integrated into the field of education. This study investigated the use and implementation of the PloyAI chatbot to improve the English learning of students in MAN 1 Samarinda. The purpose of the study was to investigate how high school students could be used to further the use of PolyAI in education field. The aim was to provice new perspectives that would enchane the current discussion on the integration of artificial intelligence in education. This study used a quantitative approach with questionnaires and English tests as research tools. The data obtained were analyzed using Statistical package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to discover the relationship between two variables. The results of the study show that the implementation of PolyAI has improved the perfomance of students in English courses.

Abstract

The objective of this research is describe the students problems in developing speaking skill at tenth grade SMA Darul Hijrah Putra Martapura In this research, the researcher uses descriptive qualitative as the research design. The population of this research is students at SMA Darul Hijrah Putra Martapura and the samples of this research are 36 students from class X SMA. the samples are selected based on the problem formulation. This research uses questionnaire and interview as the instrument. The finding shows that students problem: nothing to say 58,33, mother-tongue use 80,55, difficult to express ideas verbally 58,33, limited vocabulary 72,22, limited ability of grammar 72,22, focused on grammar 61,11.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media audio visual berbasis podcast terhadap keterampilan literasi pada mata pelajaran sejarah materi proklmasi kemerdekaan Indonesia kelas XI IPA di SMAN 1 Ciruas. Selain untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari media dalam penelitian ini jugadilakukan uji keefektifan dari media audio visual berbasis podcast sebagai bahan ajar dikelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuasi eksperimen dan pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan preteset dan posttest. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 0.05 dan Thitung = 8.621 Ttabel 1.687 maka H0 ditolak, Ha diterima maka dapat diartikan bahwa adanya pengaruh dari penggunaan media audio visual berbasis podcast terhadap keterampilan literasi siswa. Dan Nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 0.05 dan jika Thitung = 14.310 Ttabel 1.687 maka Ho ditolak, Ha diterima, bahwa dapat diartikan terdapat efektifitas terhadap penggunaan media audio visual berbasis podcast terhadap keterampilan literasi siswa. pengaruh yang diperoleh dari penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual berbasis podcast terhadap keterampilan literasi berdasarkan hasil jawaban peserta didik dan observasi pada saat penelitian yaitu peserta didik dapat menjawab peratanyaan dengan baik setelah diberikannya perlakukan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran audio visual berbasisi podcast. Selain itu, peserta didik aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dikelas sehingga terjadi proses diskusi yang panjang dalam proses pembelajaran, serta penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual berbasisi podcast ini memberikan kesan baru dalam proses pembelajaran yang diterima peserta didik.Kata Kunci : Media pembelajaran, Podcast, Keterampilan Literasi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of motivation and learning style to students achievement. This study employs a descriptive method using ex-post facto approach and a survey at university. The researcher will conduct 80 participants from 3 classes to answer the questionnaires. The data of motivation were collected by using questionnaire adopted from Gardners Attitude Motivation Test Battery (AMTB) and VARK Questionnaire version 8.0 which was adopted from Flemming to collect the influence of learning style. The studys findings clearly demonstrate that both learning style and motivation significantly influence students academic achievement. Based on the findings, several actionable suggestions can be made for educators, students, and institutions to enhance academic performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah kaitanm Penerapan Media Pembelajaran Canva Berbasis Picture Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Desain Pemodelan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) yang terdiri dari dua kelas. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik eksperimen semu, yang menjadikan sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket dan teknik dokumen berupa nilai Ujian Tengah Semester (UTS) siswa di semester ganjil dan genap untuk melihat tingkat minat yang dimiliki siswa. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tenik korelasi dan normalitas sehingga analisis datanya menggunakan analisis kuantitatif (inferensi) atau menggunakan formula statistic matematis.
