Abstract

The digital revolution has presented challenges in the child education system, including gaps in access to digital infrastructure, limitations in teachers' competence in integrating technology, and concerns about negative impacts on children's socio-emotional development. This study aims to analyze the role of innovation and technology in education in the digital era, explore effective technology-based learning models, and identify strategies for developing children's intelligence to meet the demands of the 21st century. The method used was a systematic literature review with a thematic analysis of peer-reviewed journals from leading academic databases. The results show that technology plays a significant role in creating personal, collaborative, and inclusive learning through game-based learning, adaptive learning, and artificial intelligence-based applications. The effectiveness of technology integration depends on a blended learning approach, adequate infrastructure, educator training, and policies that support equitable access, thus requiring stakeholder collaboration in creating an optimal digital education ecosystem. Abstract

This study focuses on understanding the instillation of Islamic values ​​in the formation of early childhood manners through the habit of memorizing Asmaul Husnah and Short Letters. In Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah Gembuk I. The study used a qualitative method with a case study design. The results of the study showed that the habit of memorizing Asmaul Husnah and Short Letters can help children understand and internalize Islamic values, as well as improve their manners. This study recommends that the Asmaul Husnah and Short Letter memorization program can be integrated into the early childhood education curriculum. The increase in manners is reflected in the increase in scores on the manners indicator, such as saying hello, respecting parents, and avoiding bad behavior. In addition, the study also shows that the Asmaul Husnah and Short Letter memorization program can improve children's ability to memorize Asmaul Husnah and Short Letters. This study concludes that the habit of memorizing Asmaul Husnah and Short Letters can be an effective strategy in instilling Islamic values ​​in early childhood. Therefore, this study recommends that the program of memorizing Asmaul Husnah and Short Letters can be implemented into the early childhood education curriculum. Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a crucial role in shaping children’s character through the integration of religious and ethical values. This study aims to examine strategies for integrating these values into the ECE curriculum, their impact on character formation, and the challenges of implementation. Employing a qualitative approach based on a literature review, the study analyzes 25 sources, including journals, books, and government regulations, selected for their relevance to character education in early childhood (2010–2023). Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis to identify themes of strategies, impacts, and obstacles. Findings indicate that strategies such as habituation (e.g., praying and practicing courtesy), value-based storytelling, structured play, and project-based learning effectively enhance prosocial behaviors (empathy, cooperation), moral integrity (honesty, responsibility), and spiritual awareness (gratitude, faith). However, challenges such as limited teacher competency, variations in interpreting religious values, and uncontrolled gadget exposure hinder implementation. The study recommends teacher training, collaboration with parents, and the development of digital learning media to support holistic character education. These findings contribute to developing a value-rich ECE curriculum, supporting Indonesia’s national education vision. Keywords:  Early Childhood Education; Value; Character

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Loose Part media in developing creativity and social interaction at BA Aisyiyah Ketro II. The method used is a quantitative approach with experimental research type. The research design applied was Intact-Group Comparison. The sample in this study was taken randomly using random sampling technique, which is the selection of samples from the population randomly. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The instruments used include observation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcome assessment sheets. The results showed that the learning activities of group A students using Loose Part a were better than those of group B students. The group that used Loose Part media made students more creative and enthusiastic in learning activities and trained students to cooperate with their friends so that their creativity and social interaction increased. Meanwhile, groups that do not use Loose Part media in their learning activities are more monotonous and tend to be passive. Abstract

In early childhood, the role of educators has a great influence on children's social and emotional development. This is because early childhood tends to imitate what they see, without being able to distinguish between good and bad behavior. Therefore, they easily imitate the attitudes of those around them. One way that can be used to observe a child's social-emotional development is through traditional games such as dakon. The purpose of this study is to find out how the game of dakon can support early childhood social-emotional development. The results of the study show that the dakon game at RA Bahrul Ulum can be an effective medium in training children's social and emotional attitudes in a simpler way. This game helps children understand noble values such as helpfulness, empathy, responsibility for actions taken, and accepting defeat. This research is focused on children aged 5-6 years with the hope of understanding and developing social-emotional attitudes, such as tidying up the game tools after playing dakon, caring for friends who don't understand the rules of the game, and learning to accept defeat with open arms. Abstract

This research seeks to explore and assess how gadgets are utilized in the early childhood education process at PAUD KB Cahaya Putra Tegalombo, Pacitan. It primarily focuses on the institution’s approach to effectively incorporating technology into learning and the strategies adopted to ensure gadget use contributes positively to children’s overall development. Employing a descriptive qualitative methodology, the study involves participants including teachers, the head of the PAUD, and parents. Data were gathered through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation regarding gadget use in learning activities, along with institutional policies. The results indicate that, when used appropriately, gadgets can enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skills development in young children. However, the institution encounters challenges such as children's overreliance on gadgets, inadequate supervision, and infrastructural limitations. In response, the school enforces time restrictions on gadget use, promotes active teacher involvement, and integrates both online and offline learning methods. Furthermore, collaboration with external partners is undertaken to develop educational applications that are suitable for the children's age group. This study underscores the need for a comprehensive approach to integrating technology into early childhood education, ensuring that gadget use delivers optimal benefits without hindering physical and social growth. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of memorizing daily prayers in shaping children's Islamic character at Aisyiyah Bandar Pacitan Kindergarten. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that memorizing daily prayers has a positive impact on the formation of children's Islamic character, especially in the aspects of discipline, independence, and respect for parents and teachers. In addition, memorizing prayers also increases children's awareness of the importance of prayer in everyday life as a form of piety to Allah SWT. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of Islamic character learning methods in Islamic-based schools, especially in early childhood education. By applying the right strategy, learning to memorize daily prayers can be an effective means in shaping noble character and familiarizing children to always pray in various aspects of their lives. Abstract

This study aims to describe in depth the application of the Iqro' learning theory in the process of introducing hijaiyah letters to children at Madrasah Diniyah As Salam. The learning theory used in the Iqro' method emphasizes an individual approach and gradual learning that is in accordance with the level of development of early childhood. In the context of Islamic education, especially in learning to read the Qur'an, mastery of hijaiyah letters is the main foundation that children must have. Abstract

Islamic education (fiqih) in islamic elementary schools (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) plays a crucial role in building students ethics and morality. This study aims to examine the implementation of fiqih education in building students ethics and morality at Madrasah Ibtdaiyah. This qualitative reseach uses interview and observation techniques for data collection. The research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Program Khusus Al-Ishlah. The research questions are: How effective is the implementation of fiqih education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Program Khusus Al-Ishlah?. What challenges are faced in implementing fiqih education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Program Khusus Al-Ishlah, and how do teachers strategies in improving students understanding and practice of fiqih contribute to students behavior in daily life?. The results of this study show that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Program Khusus Al-Ishlah has successfully created an academic, ethical, and moral educational environment. The school has also successfully developed students potential with spiritual and religious strength and has produced a generation that is faithful, pious, intelligent, innovative, and creative. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the school environment on student learning achievement at SMP Negeri 4 Bandar. The environment in question includes physical, social, and academic aspects that are integrated to form a conducive learning atmosphere. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation of students, teachers, and education personnel. The results of the study indicate that adequate physical facilities, such as comfortable classrooms and good lighting, increase student focus and comfort in learning. A harmonious social environment between school residents encourages active student involvement, while academic support through guidance, competitions, and a culture of discipline and literacy strengthens motivation and learning achievement. The implications of this study indicate the importance of holistic school environmental management. Improving facilities and strengthening academic culture can create an optimal learning atmosphere. However, special attention needs to be given to the gap in access to additional activities for underprivileged students. This study recommends continuous improvement in all three aspects of the environment to support student academic success. Keywords: School Environment; Learning Achievement; Qualitative Approach
