Abstract

A pharmacy is a type of retail business whose commodities or goods traded consist of pharmaceutical supplies, which include medicines and medicinal ingredients, as well as health supplies. A pharmacy is also a specific place where pharmaceutical work is carried out and distribution of pharmaceutical supplies and other health supplies to the public. Pharmacies have two uses, namely in providing health services and in business/competition. In line with the development of science and technology in the pharmaceutical sector, there has been a shift in the orientation of pharmaceutical services and the management of drugs as a commodity to comprehensive services (pharmaceutical care) in the sense of not only managing drugs but in a broader sense includes the implementation of providing information to support the correct and rational use of drugs, monitoring drug use to determine the final destination and the possibility of medication errors (Ministry of Health, 2014).

Abstract

Basically, employee performance is influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are factors related to a person's characteristics, including attitudes, personality traits, physical characteristics, desires or motivation, age, gender, education, work experience, cultural background and other personal variables. Meanwhile, external factors are factors that influence employee performance that come from the environment, leadership, actions of co-workers, type of training and supervision, wage system and social environment. Meanwhile, one of the important elements in a company's management system besides human resources is and compensation is leadership. Leadership is a process where someone can become a leader through continuous activities so that they can influence the people they lead (followers) in order to achieve organizational or company goals. The relationship between a leader and those being led is a leadership process because the leader needs followers and the followers need the leader. Even though leaders and followers are interrelated, it is the leader who should take the initiative to establish relationships, communicate and maintain relationships so that the goals of the company or organization as formulated in the company's/organization's vision, mission, plans and strategies can be achieved. Increasing employee performance in an organization is largely determined by the existence of leadership in the organization. Leadership is the main factor in determining the progress and decline of employee performance in an organization, because with leadership you can direct and mobilize other people to be willing. doing something voluntarily to achieve a predetermined goal. Therefore, the existence of leadership in an organization greatly determines the success of an organization as a whole. individual and group success

Abstract

This section presents order growth projections based on professional analyst consensus estimates to help analyze procurement orders in the inventory control section. Inventory control in a company is closely related to the activity of collecting data about activities and transactions in and out of a company's goods. The basic concept of inventory is that every company, whether it is a trading company or factory company or service company, always holds inventory. Without inventory, entrepreneurs will be faced with the risk that their company at some point will not be able to fulfill the desires of customers who need or request goods/services. Inventory is held if the expected profit from the inventory should be greater than the costs it incurs. By designing a better system, it is hoped that it can help and facilitate the ongoing system process, making it easier to process data, including processing, compiling, storing and manipulating data, which ultimately produces accurate data that can be used for company needs. For this reason, an information system is needed to overcome this problem, a dual information system that can inform existing data correctly and accurately.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a creative business that is formed based on innovation to create something new, has added value, provides benefits, creates jobs and the results are useful for other people. Entrepreneurship is always confused with Medium Enterprises, although this is not always the case, because not always the business owned by an entrepreneur is classified as a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME). Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can be interpreted in various ways by various sources. The basis for formulating the meaning of MSMEs can be based on the amount of business results/income, the amount of capital, the number of workers and the form of business. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) apparently have an important role in making a positive contribution to overcoming economic, social problems, in the form of high levels of poverty, large numbers of unemployed people, especially among people with low education, inequality in income distribution, uneven development processes between urban and rural areas and the problem of urbanization with all its negative impacts.

Abstract

Nutritional intake is essential for human survival, health, and cognitive development at every stage of life. South Asia is home to adolescents who are significantly affected by stunting, waste, and overweight, with respective rates of 13.0%, 10.8%, and 10.8%. This service activity is intended to compile a nutritional status map of the students attending SDN Ciherang 01. The design of this activity was conducted utilizing the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology. 125 students participated in this activity, during which anthropometric assessments were conducted to determine the nutritional status of the students: body weight, height, and body mass index were measured. As per the findings of this service, 9.6% of students exhibited overweight status, 12.8% demonstrated obesity, and 18.4% reported being underweight. Immediate action is required to avert the adverse effects that identified nutritional issues may have on the growth and development of students.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is one of the most important aspects in improving the quality of education and human resource development. The level of scientific literacy understanding among students in Indonesia remains comparatively inadequate. Therefore, a chemistry-based community service was conducted at SMAN 30 Garut which aims to improve students' scientific literacy and learning enthusiasm through demonstrations of simple chemical experiments and fun education. This Community Service at SMAN 30 Garut involved members of the HMK “AMISCA” ITB Chemistry Student Association as facilitators in carrying out simple chemical experiments. Several chemical experiments were presented, including the decomposition reaction of hydrogen peroxide, hydrogen balloons, vitamin C testing, secret messages using the Phenolphthalein indicator, and acid-base indicators from colored flower extracts. This activity can improve students' knowledge and interest in science. This is evidenced by the students' enthusiasm in participating in the activities, as well as the results of the feedback distributed after the activities. With the implementation of this chemistry-based community service, it is expected to be a solution in improving scientific literacy and motivating students to further explore the field of science

Abstract

Hyperuricemia, characterized by increased serum uric acid levels, occurs due to an imbalance between uric acid production and excretion. The prevalence in adults and the elderly in China is 12.69% and is higher in men (17.7%) than women (8.5%). Contributing factors such as genetics, diet, and lifestyle changes, lead to an increased risk of gout, kidney stones, and cardiovascular disease. Chronic hyperuricemia can cause joint damage and deformity due to the deposition of urate crystals. This activity uses the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) methodology to screen for hyperuricemia in the elderly at St. Mary's Church. Francis of Assisi. The screening results showed that 12 people (33.33%) of the 36 participants had hyperuricemia. Early detection of hyperuricemia is very important in preventing complications such as gout and cardiovascular disease. Regular check-ups and lifestyle changes can significantly improve health outcomes and quality of life for seniors.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) occurs when blood sugar (glucose) levels are very high for a long period of time. If the glucose level is less than 126 mg/dL during fasting or less than 200 mg/dL two hours after eating, we diagnose diabetes. In low- and middle-income countries, DM affects as many as 422 million people and is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Uncontrolled diabetes can cause severe complications such as cardiovascular disease, kidney damage, nerve damage, and vision problems. To prevent this complication, early detection through blood glucose checks is critical. This activity uses the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method for diabetes screening in adults at PT. Narindo, North Jakarta. The results of blood sugar checks showed that 5 people (3.97%) had blood sugar levels above normal. Increasing public awareness and knowledge about the risks of diabetes and healthy living is very important to reduce the incidence of diabetes so that it can improve overall health outcomes.

Abstract

Maintaining overall body health, including ear hygiene, is very important. The ear is an important organ in the human balance and hearing system. The human ear has self-cleaning capabilities, facilitated by cerumen, which occurs naturally to protect and keep the ear canal moist. However, too much or too little cerumen production can cause complaints such as decreased hearing, itching, and dry ear canals. Cleaning your ears yourself, which often involves inserting objects into the ear canal, can be dangerous. Improper use of cotton buds can push the cerumen deeper, causing blockages and increasing the risk of injury. This activity employs the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method to conduct ear health screening for cerumen and tympanic membranes on 61 participants at the Hana Nursing Home. The physical examination results revealed that we could not assess 6 (9.8%) right tympanic membranes, 8 (13.1%) left tympanic membranes, 19 (31.1%) right ear canals, and 21 (34.4%) right ear canals. The participant's left has prop cerumen. Increased awareness and physical examination of the ear, as early detection can improve ear health and prevent ear injury.
