Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference of learning Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning on learning outcomes. The research method used is experimental research method. The research design used is a Counterbalanced Design, that is a design that performs group exchanges at certain times during the experimentation period. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 3 of 64 students. Data collection using test and data analysis is t-test. After the t-test obtained a tcount of 1.72 while the ttable at the 0.05 significance level of 1.66 or tcount ttable. So it can be concluded reject Ho and Ha states there are differences in geography learning results between students who were given learning of Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning but not significant.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Counterbalanced Design, yaitu desain yang melakukan pertukaran kelompok pada waktu-waktu tertentu selama masa eksperimentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 3 sebanyak 64 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan analisis data yaitu uji t-tes. Setelah dilakukan uji t diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 1,72 sedangkan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 sebesar 1,66 atau thitung ttabel. Maka dapat disimpulkan menolak Ho dan Ha menyatakan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar geografi antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran Ploblem Based Learning dan Project Based Learning namun tidak signifikan.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar geografi, problem based learning, project based learning

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Leader Member Exchange and Employee Engagement on Performance with Organizational Culture moderation. The number of samples as many as 97 respondents obtained from the sampling technique of the sensus method. Technical data analysis includes validity test through factor analysis, reliability test and continued with multiple linear regression test. Four hypotheses were proposed in this study. The results of the statistical test stated that all indicators were valid and reliable. Furthermore, in the regression test, it is found that Leader Member Exchange and Employee Engagement are proven to contribute to explaining performance. In the f test, it is confirmed that Leader Member Exchange and Employee Engagement have a simultaneous effect on performance. The t-test proves that there is a positive and significant influence of Leader Member Exchange on performance as well as a positive and significant influence of Employee Engagement on Performance. Furthermore, in the moderation test, it was found that Organizational Culture was able to become a Moderating Variable and was reinforcing on the Influence of Leader Member Exchange on Performance and Organizational Culture was able to be a Moderating Variable and was reinforcing on the influence of Employee Engagement on Performance.

Abstract

This research investigates the factors influencing stock prices on ex-dividend day, offering insights into market dynamics and investor behavior. Through empirical analysis and comparison with theoretical expectations, the study examines the impact of dividend characteristics, trading volume, market sentiment, tax considerations, and company-specific factors on stock price movements surrounding the ex-dividend date. The findings highlight the significance of dividend size and yield, trading volume, and market sentiment in driving stock price adjustments on ex-dividend day. Additionally, the study explores the role of tax considerations and company-specific factors in shaping stock price dynamics, shedding light on the multifaceted nature of ex-dividend day trading. The implications of research findings for investors, financial markets, and future research are discussed, emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making, market efficiency, and continued exploration of market behavior on ex-dividend day.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine and analyze the simultaneous influence of competency and career development on employee performance at PT. , (3) To find out and analyze which variables have a dominant influence on employee performance at PT. In this research, the type of research uses a quantitative approach, the sample is 31 people, data collection uses questionnaires and data documentation. Meanwhile, the analysis uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis to determine the high or low levels of the observed variables with the help of data processing using the SPSS program and inferential analysis using multiple linearity regression statistics. The research results show that: (1) Competency and career development variables simultaneously influence employee performance, because the Fcount = 24.089 > Ftable = 3.34; (2) Competency variable value tcount= 2.683 > ttable = 2.048 in sig. =0.12. there is a significant influence between competency on employee performance, (3) Career development variable value t = 2.578 > ttable = 2.048 on sig. = 0.15, there is a significant influence between career development on employee performance, (4) the competency variable has a dominant influence on employee performance, because the standard value of the competency beta coefficient = 0.440 > the standard beta coefficient of career development = 0.422.

Abstract

The contribution of MSMEs to economic growth means that MSME performance needs to be improved. In this case, there are many factors that must be considered in improving the performance of MSMEs, such as entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation, so this research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the significant influence of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation on business performance in MSMEs. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The samples taken were 50 MSME business people assisted by the Surabaya City Trade Office. Data collection in this research was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation have a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on business performance in MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at McDonald Darmo Surabaya. This type of research is quantitative with information described in the form of numbers as a tool to obtain information regarding what is known. The population used is McDonald Darmo Surabaya consumers with a sample of 100 people determined through the use of purpsove sampling. The results obtained show that service quality significantly affects customer satisfaction at McDonald Darmo Surabaya, through the t test obtained a sig value of 0.000 (<0.05) which indicates the hypothesis for service quality at McDonald Darmo Surabaya has a significant effect on customer satisfaction at McDonald Darmo Surabaya is accepted. Then through the coefficient of determination test, a value of 0.720 or 72.0% is obtained which reflects the dimensions of service quality in influencing consumer satisfaction, namely 28%, while the rest is influenced by external variables.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and understand how University 45 Surabaya students make decisions in choosing a university which is analyzed through 5 (five) stages of the purchasing decision process, namely Problem Recognition, Information Search, Evaluation of Alternatives, Purchase Decision, and Postpurchase Behavior. The population in this study were all active students in the 2014-2016 academic year at University 45 Surabaya. Determining the sample for this study used probability sampling with proportional sample strata. The type of research is qualitative research. The analytical tool used is a descriptive statistical method through calculating the size of central tendency by looking for the average value (mean) at the Problem Recognition, Information Search, Evaluation of Alternatives, Purchase Decision stages, and the IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) method for the Postpurchase Behavior stage which is used to rank various elements of service quality through the aspects of Expectation (expectations) and Performance (performance). Research results in stage I Problem Recognition (Problem Recognition), there is a total score of 371 with an average value of 74.20 and the lowest namely 322 with an average value of 64.40. where the total average is 712.40. At the Information Search stage, the highest total score was obtained, namely 378 with an average value of 75.60 and the lowest total score was 244 with an average value of 48.80, where the total average was 679.00. At the Evaluation of Alternatives stage, the highest total score was obtained, namely 378 with an average value of 75.60 and the lowest total score was 241 with an average value of 48.20, where the total average was 661.00. At the Purchase Decision stage, the highest total score was obtained, namely 369 with an average value of 73.80 and the lowest total score was 262 with an average value of 52.40, where the total average was 812.60.

Abstract

In today's increasingly advanced business world, speed and determination are the main keys to the success of every business activity. Therefore, the initial steps for every company are to know quickly and precisely what its employees want and need and what is required. expected by the company. Fulfill or provide employee needs, both in the form of motivation and facilities - facilities which will have a positive impact if they are all in accordance with business activities. Leadership style and work environment influence employee performance. Leadership style and work environment perceived by employees can improve performance or reducing employee performance. Employees who enjoy their work environment will have an impact on increasing the performance of a company, apart from that, the leadership style in the company can make employees feel comfortable, so this will also have an impact on employee performance to produce the best. This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee performance. This research instrument uses a questionnaire with a total of 30 respondents. The sample taken is employees of PT Prima Beton Bangun Persada Gresik. The research method used is a quantitative method.

Abstract

So that employees can provide the best service to consumers, it is very important to motivate employees. If providing motivation to employees is less effective then this will have a direct impact on employee performance. High performance can be created if employees feel happy and comfortable at work. Stress is a dynamic condition where an individual is confronted with an opportunity, constraint or demand that is related to what he wants and the results are perceived as uncertain and important. Therefore, the problem of work stress and employee mental health needs to receive serious attention from the leadership. The research method used in this research uses multiple linear regression analysis. Simultaneous testing using the F test shows that there is a real influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable, as evidenced by the Fcount value of 21.382 > Ftable 3.3. In this simultaneous relationship, a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.613 or 61.3% of the existing data is produced, indicating that the two independent variables, namely work motivation (X₁) and work stress (X₂) are able to explain the variable, namely employee performance confidence (Y). , while the multiple R is 0.783 or 78.3%, which shows that the relationship between the independent variables as a whole and the dependent variable is quite strong. Partially, the work stress variable (X₂) has a significant and dominant effect on employee performance with a tcount of 4.314 > ttable 2.052 and a significant value of 0.000. This means work stress which consists of: excessive workload, work conflict, work frustration, equipment availability, and time constraints.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and analyze the impact of the marketing mix on purchasing interest of hydroponic vegetables at PT Anugerah Bumi Trawas, Surabaya. The study employs a descriptive-analytical approach with a quantitative method. Involving 75 respondents selected through purposive sampling, data were collected using an online Google questionnaire. Data analysis includes multiple linear regression, descriptive analysis, normality test, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination. The research findings indicate that product (X1), price (X2), and distribution (X4) significantly influence purchasing interest, while promotion (X3) does not. Simultaneously, product (X1), price (X2), promotion (X3), and distribution (X4) collectively have a significant impact on purchasing interest in Surabaya, with product (X1) being the dominant variable. The implication of this study is to enhance purchasing interest at PT Anugerah Bumi Trawas, Surabaya.
