Abstract

Backgorund of The Study: Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior that often occurs during childhood and adolescence, potentially impacting students’ psychological and social development.Purpose and scope of the paper: This community service initiative aimed to enhance fifth-grade students’ knowledge and preventive attitudes toward bullying through an interactive and visually engaging educational program conducted at SDN Hargomulyo I, Gunungkidul. Methods: The program involved 24 fifth-grade students and was carried out in three stages: a pretest to assess baseline knowledge and attitudes, delivery of educational material using animated videos and interactive presentations, and a posttest to measure changes after the intervention. Due to the small sample size and non-parametric data characteristics, the Wilcoxon test was used for statistical analysis. Results: The intervention resulted in a significant improvement in both knowledge and attitudes toward bullying. The mean knowledge score increased from 4.50 to 5.67 (p = 0.000), while the mean attitude score improved from 20.75 to 23.13 (p = 0.002).Conclusion: The interactive educational program was effective in increasing students’ awareness and rejection of bullying. These results underscore the value of early, participatory, and visually supported educational strategies in fostering a safe and inclusive school environment. The program model is suitable for replication in other schools as part of broader character education and bullying prevention efforts.

Abstract

Background of study: This study examines the advantages, difficulties, and prospective advancements of Waqf in bolstering primary healthcare services in Gombe State's rural regions. Waqf, an Islamic endowment for social welfare, has long provided funding for healthcare and education, but its ability to provide rural health care is still restricted.Aims and scope of paper: The study intends to evaluate the role Waqf institutions play in primary healthcare and offer solutions for enhancing their sustainability and effectiveness in rural Nigeria. Methods: Qualitative and quantitative data were combined in a mixed-methods approach. Structured interviews and questionnaires with Waqf administrators, healthcare providers, legislators, and community members were used to collect primary data. Official reports, pertinent literature, and case studies of effective Waqf-based healthcare projects were examples of secondary data. The data was interpreted using thematic analysis and descriptive statistics.Result: The results show that Waqf institutions build facilities, offer subsidized medical services, and help staff in order to give vital healthcare support. Their efficacy is hampered by issues like low public knowledge, shoddy legislative frameworks, erratic funding, inadequate asset management, and little cooperation with government organizations. Important suggestions include bolstering relationships, strengthening legal and policy frameworks, and promoting financial sustainability through investment. Conclusion: According to the study's findings, Waqf can be a long-term source of finance for rural healthcare with effective management, lowering reliance on government and outside assistance while fostering fair access to healthcare throughout Gombe State.

Abstract

Background of the Study: A significant section of the workforce in many developing nations is employed in the unorganized sector, which is frequently marked by volatility and lax regulation. Developing equitable and sustainable labor and development strategies requires an understanding of how education and vocational training affect job outcomes and wages in this sector.Aims and Scope of Paper: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the financial benefits that informal workers receive from education and on-the-job training. It also examines research trends, significant authors, and thematic areas of interest. Methods: A bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer was conducted to support a qualitative systematic review that was carried out utilizing the PRISMA 2020 methodology. This method made it possible to map academic papers quantitatively and include qualitative insights. Results: Although the effects of formal education and job-specific training vary by location, gender, and educational quality, they generally increase the salaries, employability, and job stability of informal workers. Bibliometric analysis shows uneven regional presence and growing research clusters. Conclusion: Programs for education and training that are targeted, equity-driven, and adapted for the informal sector are essential. Particularly in low- and middle-income nations, such programs can close the gap in human capital, raise individual incomes, strengthen labor resilience, and advance social justice and overall economic stability.
