Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Amin adalah Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Dasar berisi tulisan tentang gagasan konseptual, kajian dan penerapan teori, penulisan praktis, dan hasil penelitian pendidikan dan pengajaran sekolah dasar. Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the field of education. In this context, technological innovation has become an urgent necessity to improve the quality of national education that is adaptive to the changing times. Technology not only provides learning tools but also paves the way for a comprehensive transformation of the curriculum. A digital curriculum enables learners to acquire 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication. This study aims to explore the role of technological innovation in enhancing the quality of education in Indonesia in the digital era. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach. Data were collected from scholarly journals, books, and relevant documents for in-depth analysis and understanding. The findings indicate that technological innovation has a positive impact on more equitable access to education, technology-based learning, personalized learning, and innovation in assessment. The integration of e-learning platforms, collaborative educational applications, and open-access resources expands educational resources and fosters an inclusive learning environment. However, there are significant challenges such as the digital access gap, low digital literacy, resistance to change, and data security issues. Therefore, the implementation of technological innovation in education requires synergy among various stakeholders: the government, educators, society, and educational institutions. Curriculum changes that incorporate technology must be accompanied by ongoing teacher training and strengthened digital infrastructure. In conclusion, the role of technological innovation is crucial in creating an inclusive, effective, and responsive education system in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of Kaffah learning by conducting learning evaluations with moderation techniques. The study was conducted on students at PGMI UIN Mataram. This descriptive study describes the opinions, input and suggestions of all students regarding Kaffah learning. This is an evaluation of Kaffah learning to determine its advantages and disadvantages as a reflection on further learning. The evaluation results contain current conditions, expected conditions and those responsible for solving them. Things that need attention are learning should be in the morning, occasionally outdoors, the number of tools for group work is increased to 5 to 10 groups, more games, developed on other concepts, increasing the study of the Qur'an on the concept of fluid and demonstration.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between introvert personality and public speaking skills of grade 3 students of SDN Lawangan Daya 2 Pamekasan. Public speaking is an important skill that supports students' self-confidence and social development, but is often a challenge for students with introvert personalities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, principals, and students, as well as through participant observation and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study indicate that introvert students tend to have difficulty in public speaking, but have advantages in compiling more in-depth and systematic materials. Environmental factors, such as interactive teaching strategies and teacher support, play an important role in reducing speaking barriers experienced by introvert students. With the right learning approach, introvert students are able to develop their speaking skills optimally. This study recommends the importance of adaptive teaching strategies to support the potential of introvert students in public speaking.

Abstract

Islamic creed education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is essential in forming students' personality. Its importance has grown in today's challenging era due to the increasing influence of foreign cultures that conflict with Islamic values. The purpose of this research is to investigate how much Islamic creed instruction influences the character development of MI Darussalam Pagaralam students. " Data was gathered using a descriptive qualitative approach, including documentation, interviews, and observation. Lessons from Islamic creeds have been found to have a substantial impact on kids' character qualities, including discipline, honesty, responsibility, and respect for parents and teachers. They also enhance students' religious awareness by encouraging daily worship practices. Active teachers, supportive families, and religious programs at school serve as key supporting factors, while limited instructional time and negative social media influences are identified as challenges. The study concludes that Islamic creed education greatly contributes to building students' character foundations, highlighting the need for strengthening curricula and developing innovative teaching methods.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Brain Gym strategy in improving concentration and emotional regulation among elementary school students. The background of this research stems from students’ difficulties in maintaining focus and managing emotions, which negatively affect their academic performance. This study employs a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of all third-grade students at MI Nururrahmah in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a sample of 15 students selected through simple random sampling. The research instruments included a concentration test in the form of basic arithmetic problems and an emotional regulation questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests (Shapiro-Wilk), homogeneity tests (Levene’s test), paired sample t-tests, and effect size calculations (Cohen’s d). The results showed an increase in the average concentration score from 5.4 to 6.8 and in emotional regulation from 2.04 to 2.44 after the intervention. The paired sample t-test indicated a significant difference (Sig. < 0.001), while Cohen’s d revealed a moderate effect size for both variables (0.49 for concentration and 0.41 for emotional regulation). Therefore, it can be concluded that Brain Gym is effective in enhancing students’ concentration and emotional regulation in a primary school setting.

Abstract

This paper explores the essential roles of teachers, students, and learning materials as the three foundational pillars of effective learning. The objective of this study is to address the imbalance often found in educational practices that emphasize only one or two elements, neglecting the importance of their interconnectedness. Using a qualitative descriptive method and literature review approach, this paper analyzes how these three components function individually and collectively within contemporary educational settings. Teachers are examined as facilitators and agents of pedagogical design, students as active participants and co-constructors of knowledge, and learning materials as dynamic tools that support cognitive and skill development. The findings reveal that meaningful learning experiences emerge when there is a harmonious integration of teacher guidance, student engagement, and relevant instructional content. The study also highlights how the neglect of one pillar can hinder the learning process and reduce educational effectiveness. In conclusion, this paper emphasizes the need for a balanced, holistic approach in educational planning and instructional practice, ensuring that teachers, students, and materials work in synergy to enhance learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of school climate on student learning motivation through a quantitative literature review approach. The quality of education is influenced by non-academic factors, one of which is school climate, which includes students' perceptions of teacher support, relationships between students, fairness, safety, and academic expectations, all of which can foster students' enthusiasm for learning and participation. Student motivation is a key driver of engagement and effectiveness in learning, and students with high motivation tend to have high achievement. The results of the two studies reviewed show a significant positive influence between school climate and student learning motivation. A conducive, supportive and positive school climate can foster intrinsic motivation and increase students' self-efficacy, while motivated students will contribute to a more dynamic and productive school atmosphere. Thus, creating a positive school environment is crucial to improving students' learning motivation and the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This research is based on the problems that have been found in SD Negeri 72 Pagaralam, namely the lack of physical fitness so that students seem to have no motivation to learn PJOK lessons. This is due to factors, the way teachers teach so that students do not have the enthusiasm to participate in sports activities. Does physical fitness affect student learning motivation and factors that affect student physical fitness in PJOK subjects. This research is a quantitative survey type. The population of students at SD Negeri 72 Pagaralam amounted to 326 students and the sample was 52 students in grade V. Data collection techniques were questionnaires, observation, documentation. Then analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, linearity and hypothesis testing, simple linear regression tests. The results obtained through the hypothesis test were seen as significant 0.000 <0.05 then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. So there is an influence of physical fitness on student learning motivation in PJOK subjects. The factors that affect students' physical fitness are the first factor from within the student, namely: gender, physical health, interest in learning. Second, school environmental factors, namely: warming up, the way teachers teach, peers, exercise habits.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the traditional game Panca Main Indonesia on the understanding of Pancasila values among second-grade students at SDN 1 Dangiang. The research method employed was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 40 students, divided into an experimental class and a control class. The research instruments included multiple-choice tests, observations, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests, homogeneity tests, t-tests, and descriptive analysis. The results indicate that the Panca Main Indonesia traditional game has a significant effect on students’ understanding of Pancasila values, as evidenced by a significance value < 0.05 and t-value > t-table. Descriptively, the average post-test scores of the experimental class were higher than those of the control class. Thus, the Panca Main Indonesia traditional game is proven to be effective in enhancing students’ comprehension of Pancasila values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the active learning strategy in fostering students' interest in reading through picture storybooks in the Indonesian language subject for grade II students at SD Negeri 1 Bebidas. The background of this research is the low reading interest among students, which affects their lack of comprehension in reading texts. To overcome this issue, the active learning strategy is applied, emphasizing student engagement and the use of interesting and developmentally appropriate picture storybooks. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were teachers and students of grade II at SD Negeri 1 Bebidas. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the application of the active learning strategy through various activities such as paired reading, retelling, and small group discussions using picture storybooks plays an important role in attracting students' attention and helping them understand the content. The conclusion of this study is that the active learning strategy through picture storybooks is effective in fostering reading interest in grade II students in the Indonesian language subject. This strategy is recommended for teachers to apply in the learning process to create an active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere.
