Abstract

Fenomena perundungan (bullying) di lingkungan pendidikan menjadi isu krusial yang berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan psikologis dan prestasi akademik siswa. Menjawab tantangan tersebut, program pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone diimplementasikan dengan tujuan utama untuk membangun kesadaran anti-perundungan sejak dini. Kegiatan ini berupa psikoedukasi yang menyasar siswa kelas 4, 5, dan 6 di SDN 253 Padatuo, Kecamatan Tonra. Melalui metode ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan studi kasus sederhana, siswa dibekali pemahaman komprehensif mengenai definisi, jenis-jenis, dampak destruktif, serta strategi preventif dan intervensi terhadap perilaku perundungan. Program ini diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan literasi siswa tentang perundungan, tetapi juga membentuk mereka menjadi agen perubahan (agent of change) yang proaktif dalam menciptakan iklim sekolah yang aman, inklusif, dan suportif.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a preliminary analysis for the development of Android-based mathematics learning media on the topic of Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SPLDV) for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Lembah Gumanti. The background of this research is the difficulty students face in understanding SPLDV concepts when relying solely on conventional teaching methods, as well as the limited learning media used by teachers. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and questionnaires involving mathematics teachers and eighth-grade students. The results showed that students encountered difficulties in solving SPLDV problems, particularly in problem modeling and the application of elimination and substitution methods. Furthermore, students were more interested in interactive digital media compared to printed books, and teachers also considered that Android-based media has the potential to enhance students’ motivation and comprehension. The analysis of student characteristics indicated that the majority were already familiar with Android devices, making this technology-based learning media suitable for implementation. Findings from interviews and literature reviews also support the need for Android-based learning media with interactive features, adaptive practice questions, and visual simulations.

Abstract

Small-scale craft industries make a significant contribution to the economy at both local and national levels, not only as a source of income but also as a means of preserving culture, regional identity, and creating employment opportunities. However, limitations in terms of capital, technology, and market access often become obstacles to their development. On the other hand, social capital, which includes networks of relationships, trust, norms, and values within craft communities, has proven to have a significant impact on business sustainability. This social capital can strengthen cooperation, reduce transaction costs, and improve the efficiency of interactions among industry actors. The sustainability of small-scale craft industries encompasses economic, social, and environmental aspects, which can be achieved through the optimal utilization of social capital. Nevertheless, challenges remain, such as weak solidarity, unhealthy competition, and low trust in formal institutions. This study examines the role of social capital in supporting the sustainability of small-scale craft industries and is expected to provide in-depth insights as well as strategic recommendations to strengthen social capital in order to create industries that are competitive, sustainable, and contribute to economic development and cultural preservation.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of gas sales on economic growth in North Sumatra Province during 2011–2022. Annual secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) were analyzed using simple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. The findings indicate a positive and significant effect of gas sales on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at constant prices, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.474. This suggests that nearly half of the variation in GRDP CP is explained by gas sales, while the remainder is influenced by other factors. The results underscore the critical role of the energy sector in fostering regional economic growth, consistent with previous studies highlighting its contribution to production and employment creation.

Abstract

The results of interviews with junior high school teachers in Muaro Jambi Regency revealed that student participation in learning is still lacking and they often ignore assignments given by teachers. They consider science material difficult and uninteresting, which impacts low learning outcomes. This problem is not only caused by internal factors of the students, but also by external factors, namely teachers. Observations show that the learning methods applied are not varied. In addition, teachers' understanding of student learning psychology is still not optimal, thus impacting students' self-confidence and learning motivation. This activity aims to provide practical solutions to MGMP Science teachers in Cluster 1 Muaro Jambi in improving student learning motivation. The implementation method is a participatory workshop involving material presentation, interactive discussions, and practical training on developing learning tools oriented towards increasing learning motivation. The activity evaluation showed a positive response from participants to the activities carried out, with an average score of 3.65 for participant responses, 3.74 for material relevance, 3.91 for usefulness, and 3.91 for clarity of delivery, all in the very good category. These results indicate that the material presented is relevant to teachers' needs and has great potential to be implemented in learning practices.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan global, termasuk di Indonesia, yang sering tidak menunjukkan gejala hingga menyebabkan komplikasi serius seperti stroke dan penyakit jantung. Di daerah pedesaan, akses terbatas terhadap layanan kesehatan memperburuk masalah ini, mengingat rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang hipertensi. Begitui juga yang terjadi di daerah Desa Mekarsari yang terletak di Kecamatan Pasirjambu, Kabupaten Bandung. Pola hidup yang tidak sehat menjadi faktor dominan tercetusnya hipertensi. Oleh karena itu pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pola hidup sehat agar terhindar dari hipertensi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan analisis kuantitatif, yang dimulai dengan survei mawas diri, menetukan musyawarah masyarakat desa untuk menentukan prioritas, melaksanakan intervensi dan melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan pada tanggal 18,19 dan 20 februari 2025 di Kantor RW yang dihadiri sejumlah 30 orang. Hasil survei mawas diri menunjukkan bahwa sebagian peserta mengalami hipertensi, yang dapat diidentifikasi melalui pemeriksaan tekanan darah, asam urat, dan kolesterol. Dengan pendidikan yang tepat tentang pola hidup sehat, pengelolaan stres, serta pentingnya pemeriksaan rutin, kesadaran masyarakat akan hipertensi dapat meningkat. Program edukasi yang melibatkan tokoh masyarakat dan menggunakan media lokal diharapkan dapat memperluas jangkauan informasi dan mengubah perilaku kesehatan masyarakat. Monitoring dan evaluasi secara berkala akan memastikan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas program dalam menurunkan prevalensi hipertensi di masyarakat desa.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan box jump dan depth jump terhadao power tungkai atlet pencak silat pendidikan olahraga UMNU Kebumen. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksprimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian “Two Groups Prestest-Posttest Design”. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet pencak silat pendidikan olahraga UMNU Kebumen yang berjumlah 10 orang. Sampel diambil dari hasil tital sampling. Sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok pertama box jump dan kelompok kedua depth jump. Latihan diberikan 3 kali dalam satu minggu sebanyak 16 kali pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur power menggunakan tes vertical jump. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan uji-t. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada pengaruh latihan box jump terhadap power tungkai atlet pencak silat pendidikan olahraga UMNU Kebumen dengan t hitung 5,715 > t tabel 2,776, dan nilai p 0,005 < 0,05. (2) ada pengaruh latihan depth jump terhadap power tungkai atlet pencak silat pendidikan olahraga UMNU Kebumen dengan nilai t hitung 6,532 > t tabel 2,776, dan nilai p 0,003 < 0,05. (3) ada perbedaan pengaruh latihan box jump dan depth jump dengan hasil latihan box jump memiliki perubahan yang lebih baik

Abstract

This study aims to describe the optimization of the Discovery Learning model in improving conceptual understanding, scientific attitudes, critical thinking, and students’ cognitive outcomes in physics learning through a literature review. The research method used is a narrative review with a descriptive analysis technique that collects various information from references related to the implementation of discovery learning in physics material. Data were obtained from accredited national and international journals by considering methodological quality and topic relevance. The data collection technique was carried out through scientific article searches, data filtering, and secondary document analysis. The analysis results show that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model can be an effective alternative learning approach, as it has been proven to enhance students’ conceptual understanding of physics, scientific attitudes, and critical thinking. In addition, Discovery Learning also contributes to improving students’ cognitive outcomes through more active, interactive, and meaningful learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of natural resource economic valuation on sustainable environmental policies in Indonesia. The economic valuation of natural resources is a scientific approach that assigns monetary value to the benefits and functions of the environment, whether they have a market price or not. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this research explains how economic valuation supports efficient and environmentally equitable policy-making. The findings indicate that the implementation of valuation methods—both demand-based and non-demand-based approaches—helps policymakers identify policy alternatives that balance economic growth with environmental preservation. However, limitations in data availability, human resource capacity, and understanding of valuation concepts remain major challenges. Strengthening environmental data systems, providing expert training, and enforcing valuation-based regulations are essential steps to ensure optimal application. Therefore, economic valuation serves not only as a financial assessment tool but also as a strategic foundation for achieving fair, efficient, and sustainable environmental policies.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of coal exploitation activities on job creation in Indonesia. By applying a descriptive qualitative approach supported by quantitative data, this research examines the contribution of the coal sector in generating jobs, both direct and indirect. The findings indicate that the coal mining sector plays a significant role in labor absorption, covering key areas such as exploration, mining, and distribution, as well as supporting sectors like transportation, commercial services, catering, and accommodation. However, the nature of job opportunities created tends to be temporary due to factors such as the lifespan of the mines and fluctuations in global coal prices. Additionally, the implementation of modern technology tends to reduce the need for manual labor. Therefore, while coal mining can help reduce unemployment rates, excessive dependence on this sector It could lead to social and economic issues in the future. Therefore, there needs to be a strategy to diversify the economy and improve human resource capabilities so that community welfare is maintained after the closure of mining operations.
