Abstract

This study aims to analyze adaptive curriculum implementation models in the era of distance education as a response to post-pandemic learning transformation. The research employed a qualitative approach using library research through the analysis of primary literature, including journal articles, policy reports, and books published between 2014 and 2024. The findings reveal that the effectiveness of distance curriculum implementation depends on four key pillars: curriculum design flexibility, teachers’ digital readiness, students’ self-directed learning, and continuous evaluation. Supporting factors such as adaptive policies, digital infrastructure, and technological literacy also play crucial roles in the success of adaptive digital curriculum models. This study contributes to strengthening theoretical understanding and provides practical recommendations for educators and policymakers in enhancing Indonesia’s distance learning ecosystem.

Abstract

Nyewu merupakan salah satu tradisi masyarakat Jawa yang hingga kini masih dilestarikan di berbagai daerah seperti Jawa Tengah, Yogyakarta, dan Jawa Timur. Tradisi ini bertujuan untuk mendoakan keluarga atau kerabat yang telah meninggal, dan biasanya dilaksanakan hingga seribu hari setelah kematian. Daerah Desa Baran Dukuh Lor, Kecamatan Ambarawa, nyewu tetap terjaga dan memiliki keunikan berupa penggunaan makanan tradisional sebagai bagian penting dalam upacara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce untuk mengkaji makna simbolik makanan yang digunakan dalam nyewu. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Analisis dilakukan dengan menjelaskan tiga elemen tanda, yaitu representamen, objek, dan interpretant, untuk memahami makna budaya dan spiritual di balik setiap makanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makanan dalam nyewu memiliki makna simbolis yang mencerminkan hubungan spiritual antara manusia dan arwah leluhur. Kue apem melambangkan pengampunan dan perlindungan, kue pasung merepresentasikan peneguhan spiritual, pisang dimaknai sebagai tongkat (teken) simbolik bagi arwah dalam perjalanan menuju alam baka, sedangkan sego langgi menggambarkan bekal serta keseimbangan hidup. Melalui simbol-simbol tersebut, masyarakat mengekspresikan doa, penghormatan, dan kasih sayang kepada almarhum sekaligus memperkuat solidaritas sosial dan kearifan lokal. Makanan dalam nyewu berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai persembahan ritual, tetapi juga sebagai media komunikasi spiritual antara manusia, leluhur, dan Tuhan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower members of the PKK RW 01 in Ganggang Panjang Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency, to utilize natural ingredients as environmentally friendly mosquito repellents. The program focuses on training in the production of Eco-Antimosco, a spray and aromatherapy candle product made from papaya leaves, lemongrass, and bay leaves. This activity was carried out in response to the high number of Dengue Fever (DHF) cases and the low utilization of local herbal ingredients as alternative solutions in the community. The implementation of the activity consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage includes preparing tools, materials, and product formulation trials to ensure stable results. Implementation stage includes the opening, presentation of materials, and demonstration of product production. The evaluation stage is carried out through observation and distribution of questionnaires to assess the increase in knowledge, skills, and attitudes of participants after the training. Results of the activity show an increase in participants' ability to understand the function of the materials, follow the production process correctly, and produce natural mosquito repellent products that are effective and safe for use in the household environment.

Abstract

Optimal academic service is a key pillar in maintaining the quality and competitiveness of study programs in higher education, including Islamic higher education. Students as internal customers play a crucial role in assessing service effectiveness, thus requiring a comprehensive and structured evaluation model. This study aims to analyze student perceptions of academic service performance in the Islamic Education Management Study Program of the Hasan Jufri Islamic Institute of Bawean using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach that encompasses four perspectives: customer, internal business processes, learning and growth, and finance. A descriptive quantitative approach was used with primary data from a Likert-based closed-ended questionnaire to 15 active students, and secondary data from institutional documents. The results show that the customer perspective obtained the highest score, indicating student satisfaction with administrative interactions and services, while the learning and growth perspective received the lowest score, indicating the need for improvements in human resources and academic support systems.

Abstract

Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Mlatiharjo Semarang Kecamatan Semarang Timur, dimana masyarakat setempat masih memiliki keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam pengelolaan keuangan sampah. Tujuannya untuk memberikan edukasi literasi keuangan, pembukuan dengan menggunakan Ms. Excel. Kegiatan diikuti 25 peserta dan dilakukan dalam lima tahap: 1) tahap sosialisasi dilakukan untuk mensosialisasikan program, 2) tahap edukasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk memberikan pengetahuan keuangan secara teori dan praktek, 3) tahap IPTEK yaitu menerapkan teknologi dalam melakukan kegiatan pembukuan, 4) tahap evaluasi dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest, 5) tahap keberlanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan keuangan dan mampu mengoperasikan Ms Excel. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada hasil evalusai pretest dan posttes dimana 18 peserta (72%) menunjukkan peningkatan skor, sedangkan 7 peserta (28%) berada pada kondisi tetap, dan tidak ada peserta yang mengalami penurunan. Peserta juga diberikan pendampingan untuk memberikan solusi masalah yang timbul setelah pelatihan.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi rakyat dapat dilakukan melalui peningkatan potensi UMKM di setiap daerah. UMKM terbukti berkontribusi besar dalam menghadapi masa sulit pada saat dan sesudah pandemi covid 19. Pengabdian Masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan berupaya mendukung masyarakat sekitar agar memiliki keterampilan sesuai dengan bidang ilmu yang diperlukan.. Koperasi Syariah Mandiri 19 memiliki 60 orang anggota aktif yang berasal dari UMKM sekitarnya. Mitra ini memiliki demografis yang menarik karena memiliki banyak UMKM sebagai mata pencaharian utamanya. Pada kegiatan sebelumnya, mitra telah bekerja sama dalam pembentukan Koperasi Syariah Mandiri 19 di Lingkungan RW untuk menjadi wadah bagi warga yang berada di RW 019 untuk mendukung kesejahteraan anggota. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mitra diberikan hibah berupa aplikasi koperasi yang digunakan untuk mempermudah pengelolaan koperasi menjadi lebih efektif dan efisisien sehingga meningkatkan produktivitas usahanya. Hasil kegiatan mitra memiliki peningkatan keterampilan dan kemampuan usaha untuk mensejahterakan anggotanya.

Abstract

Film merupakan media audio-visual yang tidak hanya menyajikan cerita secara visual dan suara, tetapi juga menyampaikan pesan sosial, budaya, dan edukasi. Penulisan skenario menjadi fondasi penting dalam membangun kedalaman cerita dan menyampaikan pesan tersebut, dengan struktur tiga babak sebagai metode utama dalam mengatur alur cerita secara logis dan efektif. Film Lisan mengangkat kisah Lani, seorang remaja yang mengalami trauma dan konflik batin akibat kehilangan ibu dan hubungan keluarga yang rumit. Dalam pengembangan narasi, penulis menerapkan teknik plot twist berupa false protagonist untuk menciptakan kejutan dan memperkuat dinamika cerita. Melalui teknik ini, fokus cerita bergeser dari Lani ke karakter Aldi, yang awalnya tampak positif namun kemudian menunjukkan sisi gelapnya. Penggunaan false protagonist pada adegan awal memperkuat keterlibatan emosional penonton dan memperdalam tema trauma serta hubungan antarmanusia dalam film. Dengan demikian, struktur skenario dan teknik naratif yang diterapkan berperan penting dalam menguatkan pengalaman sinematik dan makna cerita.

Abstract

This learning aimed to train the information-processing skills of 8th-grade junior high school students on the topic of vibrations and waves through the implementation of the guided inquiry model. The main problem encountered was the low ability of students to process information, indicated by their tendency to focus only on the final results without understanding the process, as well as the emergence of irrelevant questions during the lesson. The activity was carried out in three lesson study stages: Plan, Do, and See. The inquiry model was implemented with the teacher acting as a facilitator guiding the processes of exploration, investigation, and reflection. The results showed an improvement in students' information-processing abilities, with achievements in the aspects of analysis (77%), inference (70%), and evaluation (81%). This learning has proven to be effective in training critical thinking skills through a guided inquiry approach. In conclusion, the implementation of inquiry-based learning within the framework of lesson study can be a meaningful strategy to improve students' ability to process information. For future implementation, it is recommended that time management in learning be more emphasized, the model teacher provide more active assistance especially during experimental activities, and further testing of the question instruments on wave material be conducted to obtain stronger and more comprehensive data.

Abstract

This study aims to trace the historical process of hadith codification carried out by Imam al-Bukhari, particularly in the compilation of the book Shahih al-Bukhari, and to examine his contribution to the development of hadith science (ulumul hadith). Using a qualitative approach based on literature review, this study examines primary and secondary sources to understand the historical background, hadith selection strategies, and their impact on Islamic scholarly tradition. The findings reveal that Imam al-Bukhari applied a highly rigorous selection method, such as ensuring the continuity of the chain of transmission (sanad), the integrity of the narrators, and the consistency of the text (matan) with the fundamental principles of Islamic teachings. His work not only established scientific standards in hadith writing but also promoted the development of branches of knowledge such as musthalah al-hadith and jarh wa ta’dil. The book Shahih al-Bukhari remains the primary reference for evaluating authentic hadith and remains relevant in Islamic studies to this day.

Abstract

This study examines Remy Sylado's novel Namaku Mata Hari, which portrays Mata Hari's struggles as a woman facing a marriage that does not meet her expectations. Initially, Mata Hari perceives marriage as a path to happiness and self-actualization. However, she instead experiences domestic violence and infidelity, which deprive her of freedom and her rights as a woman. These conditions drive her to resist patriarchal norms through a transformative process toward becoming an independent woman. This research focused on two main aspects: the concept of feminine transcendence and the representation of women, as exemplified by Namaku Mata Hari. The analysis employed Simone de Beauvoir's existentialist feminist theory as presented in The Second Sex, which explored women's transcendence of oppression through freedom and consciousness in defining their identities. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, utilizing reading, observation, and note-taking techniques. The findings revealed that Mata Hari succeeded in liberating herself from oppression by assuming the role of an entertainer who introduced Indonesian culture to the world, thereby achieving both economic and intellectual independence.
