Abstract

The potential for solar energy in the Gunungkidul region, particularly in the Sidoharjo subdistrict, Gunungkidul, is abundant. The use of solar energy as an alternative energy source still needs to be continuously promoted. Public understanding of the use of solar energy to generate clean and sustainable electricity is still limited. The educational program is designed to provide knowledge about the use of solar energy as electricity. The objectives of the activities include increasing public literacy about Solar Power Plants (PLTS) that can be used as alternative energy. This activity focuses on delivering material on the basic principles of PLTS, its advantages as green energy that does not produce carbon emissions, and its economic benefits in saving long-term electricity costs. The methods used are participatory in nature, including socialization, workshops, and component demonstrations, which are tailored to the local context of Sidoharjo. The expected benefits and impacts of this program include the community's understanding of PLTS technology and the realization of public awareness of the importance of renewable energy. This program also aims to empower the community with practical knowledge so that they can take the initiative in utilizing solar energy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group guidance using the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) technique in improving the discipline of performing prayers among final semester students in the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of low student discipline in performing prayers due to academic pressure, poor time management, and irrational thought patterns that hinder consistent worship. This research employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The sample consisted of 10 students selected through purposive sampling based on pretest results indicating a low level of discipline. The research instrument was a prayer discipline questionnaire, and data analysis was conducted using the Paired Sample T-Test through SPSS version 26. The results showed a significant increase between pretest and posttest scores, with the mean score rising from 67 to 102. The significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates a significant difference before and after the treatment. This proves that group guidance using the REBT technique is effective in improving the discipline of performing prayers. Through this guidance activity, students were able to recognize irrational thoughts, transform them into rational ones, and foster spiritual motivation and responsibility to worship on time and consistently. This study is expected to serve as a reference for educational institutions in developing guidance services based on psychological and spiritual approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling using the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach in improving sleep quality among final-year students experiencing insomnia symptoms at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of poor sleep quality among university students due to academic stress and the burden of thesis completion. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 10 students selected through purposive sampling based on the results of a sleep quality questionnaire indicating poor sleep quality. The research instrument used was a sleep quality questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, homogeneity test, and Paired Sample t-Test to test the hypothesis. The results showed an increase in the average sleep quality score from 77 in the pretest to 113 in the posttest. The significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates a significant difference before and after the treatment. Thus, it can be concluded that group counseling using the CBT approach has a significant effect on improving sleep quality among final-year students. These findings reinforce empirical evidence that the implementation of CBT in the context of group counseling is effective in helping students manage stress, reduce negative thoughts about sleep, and improve overall psychological well-being.

Abstract

Kasus pelecehan seksual di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan, termasuk di Kabupaten Gresik yang banyak melibatkan korban remaja perempuan. Pelecehan seksual tidak hanya menimbulkan dampak fisik, tetapi juga gangguan psikologis seperti kecemasan, depresi, dan stres, sehingga korban membutuhkan pendampingan yang tepat untuk memulihkan kondisi emosionalnya. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan konseling individu berbasis daring bagi korban pelecehan seksual di Biro ASCA Elpida. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan asesmen awal menggunakan DASS-42, kemudian dilanjutkan tiga sesi konseling yang berfokus pada eksplorasi emosi, restrukturisasi kognitif, dan penguatan mekanisme koping. Hasil menunjukkan penurunan gejala kecemasan dan stres, serta peningkatan kemampuan klien dalam mengenali, mengekspresikan, dan mengelola emosinya. Klien juga menunjukkan perkembangan dalam membangun kembali rasa percaya diri dan keterlibatan sosial. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling daring dapat menjadi alternatif pendampingan psikologis yang efektif, fleksibel, dan ramah korban.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun konsep sistem perpajakan ideal yang berlandaskan pada prinsip keadilan, efisiensi, dan kepatuhan melalui pendekatan reformasi fiskal modern. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan untuk menganalisis berbagai sumber ilmiah, peraturan, dan laporan resmi terkait reformasi perpajakan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2021 tentang Harmonisasi Peraturan Perpajakan (UU HPP) telah memperkuat dimensi keadilan vertikal dan horizontal melalui penerapan tarif progresif dan perluasan basis pajak digital. Digitalisasi administrasi perpajakan seperti penerapan CoreTax System, e-faktur, dan e-filing terbukti menurunkan biaya kepatuhan dan meningkatkan efisiensi layanan. Selain itu, kepatuhan wajib pajak meningkat seiring dengan transparansi dan profesionalisme pemeriksaan pajak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dikembangkan Kerangka Pajak Ideal Indonesia (KPI Model) yang menekankan tiga komponen utama: keadilan fiskal sebagai legitimasi moral, efisiensi sistem sebagai fondasi operasional, dan kepatuhan wajib pajak sebagai hasil dari kepercayaan publik. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa reformasi fiskal modern hanya dapat berhasil melalui sinergi antara hukum, teknologi, dan perilaku sosial.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the understanding and skills of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) As-Shofa Jubung students in creating professional digital-based Curriculum Vitae (CV) using the Kinobi platform. The training was conducted on August 2, 2025, using a participatory approach through three main stages: material presentation, hands-on practice, and evaluation. Interactive lectures, tutorials, and discussions were implemented to help participants comprehend and apply the concept of ATS-friendly CVs independently. During the session, students were introduced to the structure and components of a professional CV according to industry standards and guided in creating their own CVs through Kinobi’s features. The results revealed that students showed high enthusiasm and significant improvement in composing professional CVs. Based on feedback surveys, most participants agreed that the program enhanced their career literacy, understanding of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and ability to manage professional digital profiles. This training had a positive impact in fostering career readiness and raising early awareness of personal branding among MA As-Shofa Jubung students.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital memberikan peluang bagi dunia pendidikan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik. Salah satu media yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah PowerPoint, yang tidak hanya digunakan sebagai alat presentasi, tetapi juga sebagai platform kreatif untuk membuat game edukasi interaktif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan game edukasi berbasis PowerPoint kepada siswa SDS YPPKS IV di Kota Cilegon. Program ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 Oktober 2025 dengan peserta siswa kelas VI C dan VI D. Kegiatan ini melibatkan tiga dosen PVTE Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa serta lima mahasiswa sebagai pendamping pelatihan. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari pengenalan konsep, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi hasil karya siswa. Materi difokuskan pada pembuatan game kuis interaktif berisi sepuluh soal wawasan umum dengan empat pilihan jawaban menggunakan hyperlink untuk navigasi antar-slide. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa sangat antusias, mampu memahami langkah-langkah pembuatan game dengan baik, dan menghasilkan produk interaktif yang menarik. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan literasi digital, kemampuan berpikir logis, serta kreativitas siswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pembelajaran.

Abstract

Patient registration services are the first step in the entire hospital service chain. The manual registration process that is still widely used causes long queses, long waiting times, and reduces patient satisfaction. To overcome this, the Ajibarang Regional General Hospital (RSUD) has developed an innovative barcode based service called SIAP CERIA (Fast, Responsive, Informative, and Accountable Service Application Information System). This study aims to design a simpler, more interactive barcode based outpatient patient registration application user interface that meets the needs of both patients and staff. The method used is the Waterfall model of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach, through the stages of needs analysis, design, and prototype creation using Figma. The results of this research are the design of an outpatient registration application interface that includes a login page, new patient registration, general and BPJS patient registration, schedule and doctor selection, medical resume, and a barcode feature to speed up the patient check-in process. This interface design is expected to improve the efficiency of registration services, reduce queues, and provide a better user experience.

Abstract

This qualitative narrative inquiry delves into the intricate relationship between foreign language learning and the cultivation of cultural empathy among students enrolled in the English and Japanese language programs at Prima Bangsa Institute. Employing a narrative inquiry approach, the study meticulously analyzes the lived experiences, perceptions, and transformative journeys of five purposively selected students through in-depth, semi-structured interviews. The emergent findings unequivocally demonstrate that a culturally contextualized and experiential learning environment rich with authentic materials such as contemporary music, popular anime, structured debates, and interactive speaking events significantly enhances learners' cultural awareness, deepens their emotional sensitivity, and sharpens their perspective-taking abilities. Beyond mere linguistic proficiency, these language classes are shown to be instrumental in shaping attitudes of tolerance, fostering profound reflection, and nurturing robust intercultural sensitivity. This research critically contributes to the burgeoning field of intercultural pedagogy within language education, offering compelling empirical evidence that underscores the vital importance of implementing experiential, reflective, and culturally integrated curricula within the landscape of Indonesian higher education. The study advocates for a paradigm shift from purely linguistic acquisition to a more holistic approach that prioritizes the development of global citizens capable of empathetic cross-cultural engagement.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning is often considered less meaningful and too formal. Efforts to improve the quality of PAI learning can be done through the application of the Active Learning method. This study aims to determine whether the Active Learning method can improve students' understanding in PAI learning at SMP Plus Ja-alHaq and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research method used is descriptive with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Active Learning method can improve students' understanding in PAI learning at SMP Plus Ja-alHaq. Students become more active in class and can understand PAI material better through interesting and not boring methods. A supporting factor in the implementation of the Active Learning method is group discussion. However, further identification of inhibiting factors is still needed. Overall, the application of the Active Learning method can be an alternative to improve the quality of PAI learning at SMP Plus Ja-alHaq.
