Abstract

Monitoring cardiovascular patients at home is often constrained by the interpretation of raw sensor data. This service aimed to implement a portable decision support system to convert raw heart rate (BPM) and oxygen saturation (SpO2) data into meaningful health condition information. The method used was designing a prototype based on NodeMCU ESP8266 and the MAX30100 sensor for data acquisition , and applying Mamdani Fuzzy Logic for analysis. A Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) in MATLAB used 9 rule-bases to classify 2 inputs (BPM and SpO2) into 3 outputs ('Healthy', 'Caution', 'Emergency'). The case study object was a patient with a history of hypertensive heart disease and aortic aneurysm. The results showed the prototype had high accuracy, reaching 95.98% for heart rate and 95.31% for oxygen saturation. The fuzzy logic system successfully classified 35 test datasets, with 34 detected as "Healthy" and 1 as "Caution," proving its sensitivity in monitoring. Oxygen saturation was proven to be the dominant factor for 'Emergency' conditions, while heart rate more influenced the transition from "Healthy" to "Caution". This system provides a practical solution for families to monitor patient conditions more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the condition of children with autism, identify the difficulties they face in communication and interaction, and find out the types of special services provided for children with autism at SKh 02 in Serang city. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. The participants in this study consist of a child with autism and several key informants, including teachers and parents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The observation results reveal various challenges, difficulties, and obstacles faced by children with autism.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the Arabic–Indonesian translation competence and academic writing skills of fourth-semester students of the Arabic Language Education Department at the University of Darussalam Gontor. The main challenges addressed in this activity involve students’ limited understanding of translation theories and strategies, as well as their difficulties in producing academic articles that meet scholarly standards. To address these issues, a mentoring program was conducted at Pondok Kreatif Baitul Kilmah with the participation of 27 students. The implementation consisted of four sessions, each lasting two hours, including workshops on translation theory, practical exercises in translating Arabic texts into Indonesian, mentoring on scientific writing, and presentation of students’ work. Evaluation was carried out through task assessments during the mentoring process and feedback from the instructor. The findings indicate that the program contributed to enhancing students’ ability to comprehend Arabic texts, select accurate lexical equivalents, and develop coherent academic paragraphs that align with standard scientific writing conventions. Therefore, this mentoring program is considered effective in strengthening students’ academic competencies in translation and scientific writing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada materi majas yang belum diajarkan secara maksimal sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan kalimat yang mengandung majas. Selain itu, terbatasnya multimedia interaktif untuk materi majas di sekolah dasar menyebabkan proses pembelajaran kurang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran berbasis IKA (Interaktif, Kreatif, dan Aktif) pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi majas di kelas V UPT SD Negeri 193 Gresik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Pengembangan dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan naskah, pembuatan video, serta uji coba terbatas di kelas V. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video berbasis IKA sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karena mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap jenis-jenis majas. Dengan demikian, media video ini dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation in education demands innovative curriculum design that aligns with 21st-century competencies. A digital innovative curriculum serves as a key strategy to enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills in facing digital-era challenges. This study aims to analyze the role and effectiveness of an innovative digital curriculum in improving students’ abilities in the digital era. The method used is a literature review by examining recent studies on technology-based curriculum models and competency-based learning. The findings indicate that implementing an innovative digital curriculum that integrates information technology, project-based learning, and authentic assessment can improve students’ digital literacy, learning autonomy, and creativity. Therefore, an innovative digital curriculum plays an essential role in shaping adaptive, productive, and competent learners ready to face global technological developments.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the capacity of the Bungkutoko Village community, which is vulnerable to coastal disasters, through preparedness training and emergency response using a simulation method for first aid on drowning victims. The methods used include outreach to increase knowledge about risks and coastal disaster mitigation, as well as technical training through simulation of the first aid process involving victim identification, water rescue with the principles of reach, throw, row, go, and tow/carry, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The evaluation results show that this training significantly improves the community's knowledge and skills in administering first aid to drowning victims as well as increases emergency preparedness in coastal areas. This is demonstrated by the participants' ability to independently practice the simulated first aid procedures effectively, including CPR, which is highly relevant for reducing risks associated with water accidents. Simulation-based training effectively builds community preparedness in mitigating drowning disaster risks, thus it should be continued as an effort to enhance the resilience of disaster-prone coastal communities

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dalam rangka meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat Rancabolang, Kelurahan Sekejati, Kecamatan Buahbatu, Kota Bandung karena adanya potensi gempa bumi megathrust melalui edukasi dan simulasi bencana. Sebagai daerah yang berada padai zona resiko tinggi bencana karena berada pada pengaruh Sesar Lembang dan zona Megathrust Selatan Jawa. Metode peningkatan dilakukan melalui edukasi interaktif, diskusi, dan simulasi lapangan dengan 22 peserta. Evaluasi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan dengan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test untuk memahami tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat tentang kesiapsiagaan terhadap gempa bumi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata 67,4% pada semua indikator kesiapsiagaan. Peningkatan paling tinggi terjadi pada kemampuan masyarakat mengenali potensi gempa, menentukan jalur evakuasi, serta melakukan tindakan Drop–Cover–Hold On. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah terbentuk Kelompok Sadar Bencana Rukun Warga (RW) untuk mengimplementasikan kesiapsiagaan komunitas. Edukasi berbasis konteks lokal cukup efektif dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran dan perilaku.

Abstract

Traditional poetry at the Sikka krowe ethnic wedding ceremony is a traditional culture that contains moral values that are in accordance with people's lives. The traditional wedding ceremony is sacred and has religious value in people's lives. The poetry of the traditional wedding ceremony is symbolised by traditional poems as advice in the ceremony. Traditional poems contain moral, cultural, and belief values. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning and function of traditional wedding poems of Sikka krowe ethnicity in Waiara, Wairbleler Village, Waigete Sub-district, Sikka Regency. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive qualitative is an approach that aims to collect data in the form of words and images in the field by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The result of this research is that the poem has meaning, namely the meaning of intention, the meaning of prohibition, and the meaning of poetic loyalty and has an important function in people's lives, both in social, cultural, educational and spiritual.

Abstract

Mahasiswa adalah kelompok individu yang terdiri dari beragam latar belakang sosial, budaya, dan nilai-nilai yang berbeda dalam menimba ilmu di perguruan tinggi Islam maupun umum, salah satunya ialah Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang.Di sisi lain, konformitas yaitu tindakan menyesuaikan sikap, pendapat, atau perilaku seseorang dengan kelompok atau norma sosial tertentu . Meskipun konsep-konsep ini telah menjadi fokus penelitian di bidang konseling, masih terdapat sedikit pemahaman tentang bagaimana ketiga faktor ini saling berhubungan, khususnya dalam konteks mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelajahi dan menganalisis hubungan antara konformitas dengan perilaku gaya hidup hedonisme pada mahasiswa UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Survey dilakukan terhadap 95 mahasiswa dari lima jurusanyang ada di fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi. Survey dilakukan secara online menggunakan dua jenis skala, yaitu skala konformitas (25 item) dan skala hedonisme (25 item). Validitas dan reliabilitas keseluruhan item diukur dan dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, dengan rentang reliabilitas antara 0.677 – 0.768. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki kategori konformitas yang sedang, pada variabel hedonisme juga memiliki kategori yang sedang. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara konformitas dan hedonisme.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of quality family time on the mental health of elementary school children. Mental health issues in children continue to increase, with family factors playing a crucial role in children's psychological development. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method involving 150 elementary school students aged 8-12 years in Surabaya. Data collection was conducted using the Family Quality Time Scale and the Child Mental Health Questionnaire (SDQ). Data analysis used Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression. The results showed a significant positive relationship between quality family time and children's mental health. Families that spend more quality time together, such as eating together, playing, and communicating, have children with better mental health indicators. The contribution of quality family time to children's mental health was 50.7%. This study concludes that quality family time is an important protective factor for children's mental health and recommends that parents prioritize quality interaction time with their children.
