Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the marriage dispensation policy based on Law No. 16 of 2019 in Dukuh Pakis District, Surabaya City. This research method is a descriptive qualitative research method. This research analysis uses Implementation Theory according to Daniel A. Mazmanian and Paul A. Sabatier including problem characteristics, policy or law characteristics and environmental variables. The results showed that the implementation of marriage dispensation in Dukuh Pakis District was still less than optimal, the granting of this marriage dispensation occurred due to the urgent situation of the prospective bride and groom so that the marriage had to be carried out immediately even though the age of the prospective bride and groom was under 19 years old. This problem occurs due to pregnancy outside of marriage so that a marriage dispensation must be given in accordance with Law No. 16 of 2019 so that the prospective bride and groom can immediately get married.

Abstract

Administrative services in Indonesia still face various issues such as the presence of intermediaries, slow e-KTP printing, and suboptimal data consolidation. The "Siapel Tegas" program at the Malang City Population and Civil Registration Office is a public service innovation aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of population services. This study aims to analyze the success factors of implementation, the impact on public services, the level of actor participation, the role of leaders, public perception, encountered obstacles, and comparisons with other best practices. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The results show that "Siapel Tegas" can reduce long queues, increase service efficiency, and gain public appreciation. Leadership roles and partnerships with various parties are also key to the success of this program.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of Profitability ratio and Leverage ratio on tax avoidance with company size as a moderating variable in the property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020-2022. It's a quantitative research with a causal nature. The population for this study consists of property and real estate sector companies listed on the IDX during 2020-2022. Sample selection was done using purposive sampling method. Data sources included secondary data such as company financial reports. Data collection techniques involved documentation and literature study. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis, classic assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The research results indicate that the Profitability ratio (ROA) has a significant negative impact on tax avoidance, while the Leverage ratio (DER) does not affect tax avoidance. Company size (SIZE) strengthens the impact of Profitability ratio (ROA) on tax avoidance, but it does not strengthen the impact of Leverage ratio (DER).

Abstract

Short story in literature is a brief work of fiction that usually focused on a single plot, theme, or character. Short story has intrinsic elements like novel, and they are: plot, theme, setting, point of view, character and characterization, and symbol. This research paper aimed to analyze the intrinsic elements specifically the theme in a short story “Runaway” by Alice Munro. In this study, the data source is collected from the short story by Alice Munro entitled “Runaway”. The researcher uses qualitative method and theory of literature by Wellek and Warren to analyze and describe the result of this research. In Alice Munro's "Runaway," Carla, a young woman trapped in an abusive marriage, considers leaving with the help of Sylvia, her neighbor, but she eventually has to deal with the difficulties of fleeing societal norms and her husband's authority. The story examines issues of female friendship, domestic entrapment, and the struggle for independence. The result of this research found three main themes; female friendship, marital struggle, and pursuit of freedom.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of financial performance comprising of ROE, CR, and DER on dividend policy measured by DPR. The study was conducted on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2018-2022 in the Goods and Consumption sector. The sample for this study consisted of 20 companies categorized as manufacturing companies in the Goods and Consumption sector for the period 2018-2022, and companies that were required to issue financial reports containing the values of variables to be examined, namely DPR, ROE, CR, and DER over five consecutive years. The data collection method for this research used secondary sources. Data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange was tested through classical assumption tests including normality test, Autocorrelation Test, Multicollinearity Test, and Heteroskedasticity Test. To answer the hypotheses, multiple linear regression tests were used, hypothesis tests consisting of F-test and t-test, and determination test (R2). The research results indicate that the independent variables, comprising ROE, CR, and DER, have an influence on the dependent variable, which is DPR. The F-test results show that simultaneously, the variables ROE, CR, and DER have a significant impact on DPR. Through the t-test, it was found that the ROE variable has a positive and significant impact on DPR, the CR variable has a positive and significant impact on DPR, and the DER variable has a negative and significant impact on DPR for manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2018-2022 in the Goods and Consumption sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of Market Orientation, Creativity and Product Innovation on Marketing Performance at UMKM Kerupuk Tuiri. In this study using non-probability sampling techniques, a sample of 180 respondents was taken. Data was collected using a questionnaire measured on a Likert scale. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 22 program, the results of this study indicate that market orientation has no effect on marketing performance but creativity and product innovation have a partial effect on marketing performance. The results also show that market orientation, creativity and product innovation simultaneously affect marketing performance.

Abstract

This community service program aims to apply holography technology in developing educational tourism assets for the pottery industry in Pagelaran Village. The methodology includes tourism needs analysis, holographic content design, and the evaluation of holography technology implementation. This program is designed to visually and interactively showcase the pottery-making process, providing an immersive educational experience for tourists. The results indicate a significant increase in tourist interest and understanding of the pottery industry. Evaluations through surveys and in-depth interviews confirm that holography technology effectively enhances tourism appeal and educational value. This program makes a significant contribution to modernizing educational tourism assets and ensuring the sustainability of the pottery industry in Pagelaran Village.

Abstract

Catcalling is a form of verbal sexual harassment in the form of an exclamation or comment made by someone to attract the victim's attention that contains sexual elements. The rise of catcalling on teenage girls in Surabaya City is certainly a concern because of the impact caused by catcalling. Gender inequality and patriarchal culture are also factors in catcalling. Siri' na Pacce is a philosophy of life for the Bugis-Makassar people that is still upheld today. Siri' na Pacce as a solution offer for people in Surabaya City because the value contained in it can minimize catcalling in Surabaya. The problems posed in this research are first, how the Surabaya city community views the normalization of catcalling; second, whether the essence contained in Siri' na Pacce can minimize catcalling in Surabaya City. The purpose of writing this article is to find out how effective Siri' na Pacce is as a form of minimizing female teenage catcaliling in Surabaya City. The research method used in the research is a mix method, namely qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative to understand the views of the Surabaya community regarding the catcalling phenomenon. While qualitative to explore information related to siri' na Pacce. The research concluded that the essence contained in siri' na pacce can be applied in Surabaya City to prevent catcalling through education and behavioral examples that reflect the figure of an ethical individual.

Abstract

The tape business industry in Banjarsari Village faces challenges in increasing competitiveness through product diversification. The main objectives include identifying gaps in producer knowledge, improving the quality of tape products, and supporting downstream policies. The methods applied are Objective-Oriented Project Planning (OPP) and Logical Framework Approach (LFA), with a focus on analyzing skills needs and product quality standards. The research location is in Banjarsari Village with the main target being tape producers. The results show a significant increase in producers' knowledge and skills after the training, as well as product quality that meets downstream standards. The benefits obtained include increasing the competitiveness of the local tape industry, support for product downstream policies, and increasing producer income. In conclusion, product diversification training has proven effective in developing the tape business industry in Banjarsari Village.

Abstract

This article discusses the acceleration of teacher assistant technology through the development of a Virtual Teacher Hologram based on Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) and the MDA Framework. This community service program aims to improve the quality of education in rural areas by utilizing hologram technology as a virtual teacher assistant. The methodology includes Rapid Rural Appraisal to identify educational needs and the MDA Framework to design and implement hologram technology. The results indicate that the use of the Virtual Teacher Hologram significantly enhances student interaction, comprehension of materials, and the overall quality of education in rural areas. Additionally, this technology facilitates more equitable and quality access to education. In conclusion, the development of the Virtual Teacher Hologram based on RRA and the MDA Framework provides a positive contribution to accelerating educational technology in rural areas.
