Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the management information system used in MTS YPAK Cigugur. The method applied in this study is qualitative descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing the operator staff of MTS YPAK Cigugur. In addition, the researcher also conducted a literature study on a number of scientific journals related to the topic to be analyzed. The results of the study indicate that the management information system has been implemented well in MTS YPAK Cigugur. The management information system model used in MTS YPAK Cigugur is the education management information system or EMIS developed by the Ministry of Religion to assist Islamic educational institutions in managing data related to student data, educator and education data, facilities and infrastructure, and other institutional interest data. In its implementation, there are various aspects that influence it, including the procurement of adequate software such as computers and laptops, the availability of software for data processing and adequate networks to support the smooth running of the data processing process, and human resources as users who are capable and understand technology-based management information systems.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the factors that cause students' low interest in reading at MA Al-Furqon. Descriptive qualitative data collection methods were used, and data collection was carried out through documentation, interviews and observations. This research also uses various references from various articles, journals and other websites. Data shows that MA Al-Furqon students' interest in reading is still low. Two factors were found. Internal factors are the lack of students' reading habits caused by students' interest in reading. And external factors include the school environment, libraries, books and reading materials, family, and the influence of technology and television.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze management in improving learning discipline at SMK Negeri 1 Cimerak, with a focus on the strategies and approaches used by the school in achieving this goal. The research method used is a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with management staff and direct observation in the school environment. The results of this research provide an in-depth understanding of how school management can influence student learning discipline. The main findings show that a holistic management approach, including the development of clear rules, personal coaching of students, and collaboration between school stakeholders, significantly improves student learning discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in providing motivation to students who often miss school. The problem of student absenteeism is a crucial issue in the world of education because it has a direct impact on academic achievement and students' social-emotional development. Counseling Guidance Teachers have a strategic role in identifying the causes of student absenteeism, providing guidance, and motivating students to return to school regularly. Through a qualitative approach method, this study collects data from in-depth interviews with BK teachers and students who have attendance problems. The results of the study show that a personal approach, in-depth counseling, and collaboration with parents and other schools are effective strategies implemented by Counseling Guidance Teachers. By understanding the background of the problems of students being treated through home visits, Counseling Guidance Teachers can provide appropriate interventions, help students overcome obstacles, and rebuild their motivation to learn. This study concludes that the role of Counseling Guidance Teachers is very significant in overcoming student problems, and the support and motivation provided by Counseling Guidance Teachers can increase the level of student attendance in school.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the management of confidence-building in students through group guidance services in the 10th grade at SMAN 1 Parigi. The study employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, involving data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and data source triangulation. The research process includes planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling group guidance services focused on enhancing students' confidence. The results show that group guidance services are effective in boosting students' confidence through active participation in group discussions, role-playing, and other activities designed to motivate students to express their opinions and feelings. The school counselors play a crucial role in facilitating and directing the group guidance sessions and conducting regular evaluations to ensure the program's goals are met. Challenges include students who tend to be reserved and the lack of collaboration between homeroom teachers and school counselors. However, with a closer approach and higher intensity of guidance, it is expected to build closer relationships and trust between school counselors and students, significantly increasing students' confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of archival management can improve school accountability at SMK Neegeri 1 Cijulang. The research method used in this research is a case study method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were the principal, head of facilities and infrastructure, and administrative staff. The results showed that the management of archives at SMK Negeri 1 Cijulang was not optimal, with a lack of space and special officers in the field of archives. However, efforts have been made for archival management, such as training for administrative staff, which shows improvements in archival management. In this study, researchers also found that effective archiving can improve school accountability by facilitating access to information, increasing efficiency and reducing costs. The results of this study are expected to contribute to knowledge about the implementation of archival management in improving school accountability and provide recommendations for improving the quality of archival management at SMK Negeri 1 Cijulang.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a driving force to improve student learning, both external and internal factors. This research was carried out at Cikalong State Vocational School to determine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in implementing guidance and counseling management to motivate students to learn. The purpose of this research is to find out how guidance and counseling is managed and the efforts made by guidance and counseling teachers at Cikalong State Vocational School in dealing with students who lack motivation to learn. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods by conducting observations, interviews and documentation with guidance and counseling teachers. After observing, the results of this research can be seen about the role of guidance and counseling teachers at Cikalong State Vocational School in motivating students to learn. The ways to overcome students who lack motivation to learn are by providing guidance to students about the importance of learning, emphasizing the importance of learning throughout life, providing motivation to students and female students by inviting alumni, involving parents and guardians in conveying the importance of learning, providing enrichment and how to deal with problems. exams, use of learning technology.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and identify the planning and implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program as well as the obstacles and supporters in implementing the program. The school literacy movement is a comprehensive and sustainable effort to foster students' interest in reading and make schools a learning organization whose citizens are literate throughout life and of course become one of the transformations of libraries in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach. The location of this research is MA YPK Cijulang with the research subjects being the school principal, students and class teachers. Data was collected through observation, interviews with school principals and class teachers. In implementing the school literacy movement, school principals have a very big role considering that government policy allows each school institution to develop programs that have been agreed to by the government. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the literacy movement program at MA YPK Cijulang can increase students' reading interest and reading ability. The product of the Literacy Movement program at MA YPK Cijulang is the activity of reading a book for 15 minutes and reading 3 surahs in chapter 30 for 15 minutes every morning.

Abstract

The school year is an important period in student growth and development. At this age, it is the right time to instill good habits in students. If instilled from an early age, these good habits will stick with students until adulthood. Small habits such as reading can be started early. At SMAN 1 Langkaplancar a reading corner has been provided for students' reading activities in class, but the existence of a student reading corner in this class has not been fully optimized by students. This research method uses qualitative research with a case study approach which aims to examine the condition of objects naturally. Data collection techniques in the data collection procedures in this research are participant observation, in-depth interviews and document collection. Data collection techniques in this research use observation and interview techniques on research objects, research by means of observation and interviews respectively using research instruments. One of the supports needed to foster students' interest in reading at school is the role of the teacher. Teachers need to motivate students to love books from the start. The advantages of a school library include being a source of teaching and learning activities, namely helping educational and teaching programs in accordance with the objectives contained in the curriculum, helping students to expand their knowledge, developing an interest and reading culture that leads to independent learning habits.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of counselors or guidance counselors in counseling services using self-management techniques to increase students' self-resilience so that they have the ability to identify and solve problems in students or those who experience stress due to academic pressure at school. Data collection in this research, literature study and qualitative research methods. The results of this research show that there are students who find it difficult to soive their personal problems and are not serious about taking learning. The role of the conselor is very necessary to guide student behaviour. The results of the research show that the role of conselors is in increasing the self-resilience of class X MIA 5 students at MA YPK Cijulang it is said to be effective because one of the setrategies used by Mrs. entang as by conducting group counseling on self-management techniques because according to him, by making students manage themselves, both in terms of feelings, actions and thoughts, this will really help the students become resilient people or people who can overcome whatever problems they face later.
