Abstract

Horta Doll program explores the application of innovative learning methods at SDN 2 Gumukrejo as an effort to cultivate students' environmental awareness and creativity. Horta dolls, which are planting media shaped like dolls made from organic materials with plant seeds inside, are used to introduce the concept of plant growth in a direct and enjoyable way. The demonstration method is applied in this workshop to provide an interactive experience that engages students in creating and caring for Horta dolls. The results show high enthusiasm from students, as well as an increase in environmental awareness and creativity. This environment-based learning proves effective in teaching students about plant growth and care for the environment practically..

Abstract

Beberapa pondok pesantren yang merupakan lembaga pendidikan informal yang fokus pada pengembangan religiusitas sumber daya manusia tampaknya perlu mendapat perhatian terkait dengan pengembangan industri bisnis. Masih banyak pondok pesantren di Jawa Barat yang belum memiliki pengalaman mengikuti OPOP. Oleh karena itu, program berbasis Madrasah dan Pesantren ini sangat dibutuhkan. Pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan produk dan potensi ekonomi pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Program ini menerapkan metode studi kasus kualitatif dan pendekatan inkuiri apresiatif. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah seluruh santri, alumni, dan pondok pesantren dapat bersinergi lebih optimal untuk membangun pengelolaan keuangan, pemasaran, dan pengemasan produk yang lebih baik serta meningkatkan pemahaman tentang manfaat, strategi, dan keikutsertaan dalam OPOP. Singkatnya, mereka memahami cara yang tepat untuk meningkatkan potensi ekonomi mereka secara menyeluruh guna mewujudkan pondok pesantren yang lebih berdaya dan masyarakat yang sejahtera.

Abstract

The Academic Scientific Writing Competition held on June 15-20, 2024, at IAIN Ambon aimed to enhance academic skills, creativity, innovation, and encourage research in the field of Islamic economics. The event consisted of several stages, including participant registration, a national seminar, desk evaluation, and the presentation of scientific papers in the semifinal and final rounds. As a result, the top three teams presented research ideas aligned with the designated topic, demonstrating high levels of enthusiasm and quality. Overall, this event successfully deepened students' understanding of Islamic economics and prepared them to actively contribute to its development in the future.

Abstract

Hyperthermia is a condition where the body temperature increases, which can be dangerous if not treated properly. The use of compresses as a method of reducing body temperature is a concern. Fever is a change in condition from healthy to sick causing the body's reaction to increase the temperature, where the body temperature is higher than 37.5°C. There are several ways to reduce and control fever which can be done, one of which is non-pharmacological, namely by giving a compress, one method of compressing is by giving a compress with castor leaves and several grains of rice. Castor leaves compress is known to be effective in reducing children's fever because of its content. compounds such as phenols, flavonoid saponins and alkaloid compounds. Jatropha leaves also contain active compounds such as flavonoids, saponins, glycosides, alkaloids, quercetin, polyphenolic compounds and stredoids while soaked rice is very effective in accelerating the release of heat from the body because it contains nutrients, namely amino acids, vitamin B, vitamin E, minerals and antioxidant substances

Abstract

The people of Maleo village who work in several companies in Maleo village and its surroundings are less aware of the health rights that must be obtained while working in the company. Therefore, this community service is carried out in the form of Observation and Data Collection, legal counseling, focus group discussions and the preparation of SOPs for complaints regarding the fulfillment of workers' rights. The results of the community service carried out by this team The results of the community service carried out by the community service team after carrying out various community service programs are the existence of valid data on the number of people in Maleo village who work in several companies around Maleo village, the formation of community understanding and knowledge of the health rights that must be obtained by every worker, the knowledge of various problems of fulfillment of rights experienced by workers, and the formation of SOPs for complaints and follow-up handling of problems of fulfillment of rights that are specifically related to the health rights of workers.

Abstract

The division of inheritance that is not in accordance with the amount and object of inheritance in accordance with inheritance law is also caused by the heirs, who in fact are the younger generation, not knowing the inheritance distribution mechanism in accordance with the actual inheritance law system. Therefore, this service is carried out in the form of an initial survey of inheritance rights issues for youth groups, legal counseling on the distribution of inheritance rights for the younger generation, and the making of an easy-to-use and easy-to-understand inheritance division pocket book with current models and language. The results of the service by hacking a product in the form of a pocket book for the community in general and the younger generation in particular in Buhu Jaya village provide benefits for the village with the understanding possessed by the younger generation of inheritance rights, it will create a community environment that is far from disputes and creates a sense of security and comfort among fellow community members.

Abstract

Soginti Village located in Paguat District, Paguat District, Pohuwato Regency in 2024 was affected by a natural disaster, namely a flood that harmed residents. In order to overcome this, proper handling is needed through the formation of village regulations. The purpose of this activity is to develop innovative work results that have utility value and benefits for the wider community, improve the quality of research and community service in the Gorontalo State University environment which is superior and competitive and ready to face global challenges. Implementation method. Implementation method The activity was carried out through the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program which is an activity based on Community Service in Soginti Village through mentoring, workshops and tree planting. The results of the implementation of this community service, namely KKN, have implemented 3 work programs, namely the creation of Disaster Resilient Village Regulations, Workshops on optimizing the role of government officials in the formation of participatory village regulations to support the strengthening of disaster resilient villages and Planting of living kitchens. The program implemented in Soginti Village received support from the government and community members so that it could run well.

Abstract

Publication efforts are possible using information systems, especially those that are digital-based. The existence of a new model in the realm of village fund management publications will realize accountable and transparent village fund management. Therefore, this service is carried out in the form of counseling on planning and using village funds based on accountability values, Microsoft-based village financial management training and the formation of village information media. The final result of the implementation of the service which forms a digital-based village information social media is one form of realizing transparency and accountability in the use of village funds. The existence of this series of activities is a step in realizing accountable and transparent management of village funds so that it will avoid misuse of village funds as well as provide space for community participation in supervising the management of village funds. In addition, this media will provide space for community participation in monitoring the use of village funds carried out in various forms of programs and activities.

Abstract

The negative impact of the spread of hoaxes in the face of general elections, including the regional head elections in Pohuwato Regency in 2024, is important to guard against the spread of false news so that horizontal conflicts do not occur between communities while creating a healthy democratic climate. Therefore, a series of service activities were carried out in solving the problem by setting a location in Bunuyo Village as one of the villages that will hold Pilkada in Pohuwato Regency. The community service activities were carried out in the form of zone mapping on the vulnerability of hoax distribution, legal counseling on the forms and dangers of hoax distribution, and Digital Literacy training as well as the formation of community groups that anticipate the spread of hoaxes. The final result of the implementation of this service is the knowledge of the potential of village areas that are vulnerable to the spread of hoaxes. thus, counseling efforts and digital literacy training are carried out, leading to the existence of community groups formed with the task of anticipating and counteracting hoax problems ahead of the Pilkada in order to create a conducive area and safe Pilkada.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities for youth disaster management groups in the Merapi area is to improve entrepreneurial skills, introduce online promotional media, develop design and promotional skills, and train them in marketing products and services. The challenge faced by this group is how to improve their economic level even though their knowledge and skills are limited to natural disaster management. The methods of implementing this activity include providing motivation, instilling an entrepreneurial spirit, financial management training, graphic design training, and ongoing mentoring. This activity has succeeded in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among youth in the Merapi area, improving their knowledge and skills, and connecting them with online media to market their products and services.
