Abstract

Friendships play a crucial role in shaping the well-being and development of adolescents. Nowadays, friendships often form within groups known as friendship circles. However, these friendship circles can have both positive and negative effects. At MTs Surya Buana, several issues have arisen due to these circles, such as self-isolation, lack of self-confidence, feelings of alienation, and withdrawal from social interaction. This study aims to investigate additional aspects of friendship circles, such as social skills, concern, and empathy experienced by individuals both inside and outside the circles. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving students and educators from MTs Surya Buana. Data were collected through unstructured interviews with three informants selected based on the criteria of the research subjects. The results show that students within friendship circles still exhibit low levels of social skills, concern, and empathy, indicating the need for more effective and efficient efforts to improve these areas.

Abstract

Abstract

Tardiness is a common issue within educational settings, often exhibited by students who trivialize this habit and continue to practice it without considering its repercussions. They prioritize their desire to remain idle. This study aims to determine: (1) the patterns of tardiness behavior among students at SMA Widyagama Malang, (2) the factors contributing to tardiness among these students, and (3) the school’s measures in handling tardy students. This qualitative research employs a case study design, with subjects comprising four students from SMA Widyagama Malang who frequently exhibit tardiness or truancy. Purposive sampling was used to select the subjects. Data collection methods included interviews and observations. The findings from the four subjects indicate persistent daily tardiness driven by laziness, lack of motivation, and a disinterest in attending school, compounded by insufficient parental involvement in their educational activities. The causes of their tardiness are both internal and external, including personal inclinations and parental responses, which perpetuate this behavior. These findings suggest that addressing student tardiness requires focusing on both internal and external factors. Keywords: discipline; tardiness; intervention

Abstract

Becoming an automotive technician requires a deep understanding of the workings of the engine and the function of each part of a motorcycle. However, not all technicians have the opportunity to take part in Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) training. One of the institutions that implements TKR training is the Erlangga Blitar Course and Training Institute (LKP), which has a program that is very relevant to the needs of students. However, evaluation is still needed in its implementation. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the post-motorcycle automotive engineering training evaluation process at LKP Erlangga Blitar, identify the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for post-motorcycle automotive engineering training evaluation at LKP Erlangga Blitar, and analyze the use of post-training evaluation for the development of training programs at LKP Erlangga Blitar motorcycle automotive engineering training. This study uses a qualitative research method, with a case study research type. The research location is at LKP Erlangga Blitar. The data sources for this study consist of two (2) sources, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary data sources are the managers of LKP Erlangga Blitar and DUDI (Business World and Industry World). Meanwhile, secondary data sources are LKP Erlangga Blitar's social media and LKP Erlangga Blitar's profile. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out since entering the field, while in the field, and after finishing in the field. During entering the field, the data analysis used by the researcher to analyze the interviewee's answers refers to the Miles & Huberman model analysis, where this data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The validity test uses internal validation, external validity, reliability, and objectivity. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the post-training evaluation of motorcycle automotive engineering at LKP Erlangga Blitar began during the PKL report exam. After the PKL report exam session was completed, a question and answer session was continued. If the learners have been recruited for work, then the data is recorded in the tracer study. When the learners have been declared to have passed, the LKP Erlangga Blitar organizers asked for alumni testimonial videos and DUDI testimonials. The results of the post-training evaluation of Motorcycle Automotive Engineering at LKP Erlangga Blitar were used to develop the Motorcycle Automotive Engineering curriculum. In general, the implementation of post-training evaluation at the Automotive Motorcycle Engineering Training LKP Erlangga Blitar has become the institution's capital of excellence in building public trust, so that its graduates are absorbed in DUDI relatively quickly based on the skills they have, and helping partnerships with other institutions. The implication of this study is that the evaluation model that the institution already has can be used by other institutions based on partnerships with LKP, so that its graduates are absorbed in DUDI. Abstract

Currently para Teachers are faced with generation Z students whose characteristics tend to be more open to new things, interactive communication with fast feedback, liking global issue themes, and having the ease of accessing thousands of information sources from the internet. By integrating application technology, it is hoped that the learning and assessment process will be more effective and enjoyable. However, on the other hand, the digital-based learning process has not been fully implemented. These challenges stem from teachers' lack of skills in using technological tools, technological infrastructure in schools is not evenly distributed, the condition of students who do not have adequate technological tools, and school culture is still not open to the importance of integrating technology in learning. The research aims mdescribe the application of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content and Knowledge) approach in curriculum and learning management, identify factors that influence the application of the TPACK approach, and evaluate the relationship between TPACK and relevant contextual factors. This research uses the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) qualitative approach method which uses literature studies as the basis for data collection, and begins with gap analysis using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) method. The research results show that the application of the TPACK approach in learning has a significant influence on the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. However, there are still several obstacles such as the lack of adequate training for teachers, limited technological infrastructure, the condition of school culture and the readiness of the devices that students have at home.
