Abstract

AbstrakKelurahan Karang Anyar disebut sebagai Center of Industrial Tofu and Tempe Makassar (Pusat Pabrik Tahu dan Tempe Kota Makassar). Adanya pencemaran lingkungan akibat limbah cair tahu, pencemaran lingkungan akibat limbah organik dapur, kurangnya pengetahuan kelompok dasawisma karang anyar diperlukan teknologi tepat guna untuk dapat mengatasi pencemaran tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan Program Kreatifitas Mahasiswa-PengabdianMasyarakat di Kelurahan Karang Anyar, Kota Makassar meliputi1). Persiapan, 2). Penerapan POC Limbah Cair Tahu dan Eco enzyme ke tanaman, 3). Sosialisasi dan Pendampingan intensif pembuatan POC Limbah Cair Tahu dan Eco enzyme, 4). Implematasi hasil pendampingan, 5). Evaluasi dan laporan akhir. PKM-PM dengan topik formulasi penggunaan POC limbah cair tahu dan Eco enzyme sebagai inovasi pemberdayaan mitra berjalan dengan baik, dengan persentasi pelaksanaan program sebesar 95%, sesuai dengan prosedur dan perencanaan yang sebelumnya telah disusun bersama dengan kelompok Dasawisma Karang Anyar.Kata Kunci: POC lembah air tahu, Ecoenzim, Dasawisma Karang AnyarAbstractKarang Anyar Village is known as the Makassar Tofu and Tempe Industry Center (Makassar City Tofu and Tempe Factory Center). There is environmental pollution due to tofu liquid waste, environmental pollution due to organic kitchen waste, the lack of knowledge of the Dasawisma Karang Baru group requires appropriate technology to be able to overcome this pollution. Methods for implementing the Student Creativity-Community Service Program in Karang Anyar Village, Makassar City include 1). Preparation, 2). Application of Tofu Liquid Waste POC and Eco enzymes to plants, 3). Socialization and Assistance to intensify the production of POC enzymes from Tofu and Eco Liquid Waste, 4). Implementation of mentoring results, 5). Evaluation and final report. PKM-PM with the topic of formulating the use of POC liquid tofu waste and Eco enzymes as an innovation to empower partners went well, with a program implementation percentage of 95%, in accordance with procedures and plans that had previously been prepared together with the Dasawisma Karang Anyar group.Keywords: Tofu valley POC, Ecoenzyme, Dasawisma Karang Anyar

Abstract

The conversion of agricultural land in urban areas is increasing along with the increasing demand for residential land. Urban farming is an urban farming program by utilizing available land around the residence or yard. One of the strategic activities that can be carried out is urban farming education for hydroponic agriculture for the educated young generation. This Community Partnership Program was held with partners from Sekolah Menengah Atas Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf  Pattallassang  Gowa. The problem faced by partners is the lack of knowledge and skills in hydroponic farming systems. The activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of partners about hydroponic system farming. To achieve this goal, the methods of lectures, demonstrations, discussions, questions and answers, and mentoring are used. The results achieved are: 1) partners have good knowledge in hydroponic system vegetable cultivation, and 2) partners have sufficient skills to carry out hydroponic system cultivation.

Abstract

Abstrak SMA Negeri 6 Gowa terletak di Sulawesi Selatan, yang beralamat di Lanna, Parangloe, Kabupaten Gowa. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau project-based learning adalah model pembelajaran yang menggunakan proyek atau kegiatan sebagai sarana pembelajaran untuk mencapai kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Pada penerapannya pembelajaran berbasis proyek masih belum dilaksanakan dengan baik. Masih banyak guru-guru yang belum mampu atau memahami bagaimana menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek tersebut dengan baik. Masih banyak keluhan para guru yang muncul terutama pada saat ada kesempatan bertatap muka dengan mereka. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dengan pemberian teori, kemudian diselingi dengan pembuatan perangkat berupa RPP, dan praktik penerapannya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini terbilang sukses dilaksanakan, dimana semua peserta memberikan apresiasi yang sangat positif. Sehingga kegiatan serupa diharapkan dilakukan kembali.  Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Case Study, Project, GuruAbstract      SMA Negeri 6 Gowa is headquartered in South Sulawesi. The address of the SMA Negeri 6 Gowa is Lanna, Parangloe, Gowa Regency. Project-based learning is a learning model that uses projects or activities as learning tools to achieve attitude, knowledge and skill competencies. In its application, project-based learning model has not been implemented properly. There are still many teachers who have not been able or understand how to apply these learning models properly. There are still many complaints from teachers itself that arise, especially when teachers are teaching students face to face. The implementation of the training is carried out by giving theory, then interspersed with making tools in the form of lesson plans, and practical application. This community service activity was quite successful, where all participants gave a very positive appreciation. Abstract

Abstrak Penyuluhan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan tentang program gizi spesifik dan gizi sensitif untuk mencegah prevalensi stunting bagi orang tua TK/TPA Al Ikhlas Kecamatan Galesong Utara Kabupaten Takalar.  Stunting merupakan salah satu keadaan malanutrisi yang berhubungan dengan ketidakcukupan zat gizi masa lalu sehingga termasuk dalam masalah gizi yang bersifat kronis. Stunting diukur sebagai status gizi dengan memperhatikan tinggi atau panjang badan, umur, dan jenis kelamin balita. Edukasi gizi terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu persiapan, pengorganisasian, edukasi dan latihan, serta tahap akhir. Tahap Edukasi dan pelatihan melalui Ceramah dan Focus Group Discussion terkait pentingnya gizi saat kehamilan, ASI Eksklusif, MPASI dan tumbuh kembang balita. Edukasi terkait stunting meliputi pengertian, penyebab, gejala dan deteksi hingga pencegahan stunting. Selain itu, Edukasi juga terkait pentingnya PHBS pada masyarakat untuk mencegah terjadinya stunting. Alhamdulillah PKM telah berhasil dengan Sukses karena Persatuan Orang Tua sebagai mitra sangat kooperatif, dan antusiasme peserta mengikuti kegiatan sangat tinggi. Lancar karena peserta aktif berdiskusi dari awal hingga akhir baik pada sesi penyampaian materi pertama maupun pada penyampaian materi kedua tanpa gangguan. Tertib karena peserta tidak ada yang meninggalkan acara saat pendampingan berlangsung dan tetap didampingi Pengurus Yayasan Al Ikhlas. Kata kunci: Edukasi Gizi, Stunting, PHBS Abstract This counseling aims to provide knowledge about specific nutrition programs and sensitive nutrition to prevent the prevalence of stunting for parents of TK/TPA Al Ikhlas, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency. Stunting is one of the malnutrition conditions related to past nutritional insufficiency so that it is included in chronic nutritional problems. Stunting is measured as nutritional status by taking into account the height or length, age and sex of the toddler. Nutrition education consists of four stages, namely preparation, organization, education and training, and the final stage. Education and training phase through Lectures and Focus Group Discussions related to the importance of nutrition during pregnancy, exclusive breastfeeding, complementary feeding and toddler growth and development. Education related to stunting includes understanding, causes, symptoms and detection to prevention of stunting. In addition, education is also related to the importance of PHBS in the community to prevent stunting. Thank God PKM has been successful because the Parents' Association as a partner is very cooperative, and the enthusiasm of the participants to take part in the activity is very high. It was smooth because the participants actively discussed from start to finish both in the first and second material delivery sessions without interruption. It was orderly because none of the participants left the event during the mentoring and were still accompanied by the Management of the Al Ikhlas Foundation. Keywords: Nutrition Education, Stunting, PHBS

Abstract

Punaga Village, Laikang District, Takalar Regency, is a village where the majority of residents are farmers and planters. Organic kitchen waste is a serious problem faced by many local communities, besides producing unpleasant odors, it can also disturb the beauty of the environment. This problem continues to exist due to the local community's lack of knowledge or skills in managing organic kitchen waste. So a service activity was carried out, namely training in making Eco enzyme. This training aims to increase public knowledge about the management of kitchen organic waste. Eco enzyme solution is the result of fermentation of leftover fruit and vegetables mixed with water and brown sugar. The method used in service consists of several stages including: (1) Observation and Interview, (2) Preparation Stage, (3) Implementation Stage. This activity is carried out by providing training and assistance directly to the community. This training was attended by 28 participants from several groups, including the village government, youth organizations, and the Punaga village community. In this training, participants were taught how to make Eco enzyme, starting from the ingredient preparation stage, making the mixture to the fermentation stage. The training participants were very enthusiastic about taking part in the training, the participants thought that this training was useful for them, because it could increase people's insight into managing waste. The result of this service is an increase in the community's potential in making Eco enzymes. Among the 28 participants who attended, there were 22 people who were categorized as being able to understand the material provided well. The next implication of this activity is that it can be used as a profit activity by selling products that have been made, so that this activity is sustainable.

Abstract

Guru yang professional serta memiliki kompotensi satu diantaranya menghasilkan publikasi ilmiah, selain itu bagi guru yang akan mengusulkan kenaikan pangkat dan jabatan harus memenuhi kriteria perolehan angka kredit yang didapat dari: (1) Kegiatan pengembangan diri (Pelatihan atau Kegiatan Kolektif, (2) Karya Tulis yang berupa karya tulis ilmiah, membuat  alat  peraga,  alat  pembelajaran,  karya  teknologi/seni. Selain itu bagi guru yang mengikuti program profesi guru dalam jabatan harus memiliki karya tulis ilmiah dan artikel yang publish di jurnal dan prosiding bereputasi. Pelaksanaan program ini untuk meningkatkan kompotensi professional guru dalam melakukan penelusuran artikel penelitian yang relevan saat menyusun karya tulis dan untuk mengumpulkan metadata, informasi yang membuat sebuah artikel ilmiah dapat ditemukan dengan mudah, seperti judul, kata kunci, abstrak, penulis, dan sebagainya. Sehingga dalam pelaksanaan program ini memberikan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra dengan memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan kepada guru untuk memanfaatkan aplikasi App Smashing (Mendeley dan PoP). Pada pelaksanakan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan beberapa metode/pendekatan yakni: (1) kerja praktek; (2) diskusi dan tanya jawab; (3) tugas mandiri/terstruktur; (4) review tugas; (5) dan konsultasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, guru memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan menggunakan aplikasi App Smashing (Mendeley dan PoP) untuk menyusun karya tulis ilmiah yang berkualitas. Penilaian dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini diperoleh rerata skor keseluruhan 4,81 (dengan kriteria baik).

Abstract

Abstrak Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah rendahnya produktivitas tambak baik ikan maupun udang. Sistem pengelolaan masih tradisional. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman serta keterampilan sistem budidaya secara intensif masih kurang. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah memberi pemahaman, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam sistem budidaya ikan dan udang secara intensif. Metode pelatihan yang diterapkan adalah memberikan ceramah, diskusi dan demostrasi terkait sistem budidaya secara intensif meliputi pemilihan sumber air, pemilihan bibit, pengelolaan dan pemeliharaan sistem budidaya, manajemen penggunaan pakan buatan, strategi pengelolaan air selama budidaya, pengukuran dan pengamatan kualitas air serta parameter pertumbuhan hewan budidaya, pengendalian penyakit. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta pelatihan penuh antusiasme dan semangat mengikuti pelatihan mulai dari awal hingga akhir. Peserta pelatihan telah memahami dan mengerti serta mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan terkait sistem budidaya ikan dan udang secara intensif dan segala kelebihan kekuangan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh Tim Dosen sebagai instruktur pelatihan dari Jurusan Biologi FMIPA,UNM. Mereka juga sudah memiliki pengatahuan dan teknik budidaya secara intensif berbasis teknologi bioflok dan gejala penyakit yang timbul akibat serangan bakteri dan virus pada hewan budidaya seperti ikan dan udangKata kunci: Sistem Budidaya Intensif, Teknologi Bioflok, Kualitas Air, FitoplanktonAbstractThe problem faced by this community service partner is the low productivity of both fish and shrimp ponds. The management system is still traditional. Knowledge and understanding and skills of intensive aquaculture systems are still lacking. The purpose of this training is to provide understanding, knowledge and skills in intensive fish and shrimp farming systems. The training method applied was to provide lectures, discussions and demonstrations related to intensive aquaculture systems including water source selection, seed selection, management and maintenance of aquaculture systems, management of artificial feed use, water management strategies during aquaculture, measurement and observation of water quality and growth parameters of cultured animals, disease control. The results of the service showed that all training participants were enthusiastic and eager to participate in the training from the beginning to the end. The trainees have understood and gained knowledge and skills related to intensive fish and shrimp farming systems and all the advantages and disadvantages. This can be seen from the questions given by the Lecturer Team as training instructors from the Department of Biology FMIPA, UNM. They also have knowledge and techniques of intensive cultivation based on biofloc technology and symptoms of diseases that arise due to bacterial and viral attacks on cultured animals such as fish and shrimp.Keywords: Intensive Cultivation System, Biofloc Technology, Water Quality, Phytoplankton

Abstract

The use of a foreign language in communication takes more effort to avoid misunderstanding between the speaker and the listener who is notan English native speaker. The reason is a foreign language has different letters, pronunciation, and sentence structure. English which is well-known as an international language is an important language to master by Indonesian students to face the globalization. However, taught as a second language, many Indonesian still find it difficult to pronounce English sounds correctly. This workshop aims to reinforce the participants’ pronunciation, especially for English consonant sounds so they can pronoun the sounds correctly. This workshop was held using Google Meet because at that time social distancing was required and the college instructed all the learning process are conducted online. The participants showed positive attitude during the workshop and it was found some difficulties by students while practicing the English consonant sounds.

Abstract

Abstrak Alasan utama pelatihan ini dilakukan kepada mahasiswa adalah; Mahasiswa sebagai penerus bangsa sekaligus generasi muda yang sangat berdaya dalam memelihara kelangsungan Kelestarian Lingkungan Hidup. Berdasarkan faktor usia, mahasiswa memiliki peluang panjang dan kesempatan luas menyebarkan ilmu, meneruskan informasi, serta mengajak masyarakat maupun khalayak pada pelestarian lingkungan. Berdasarkan intelektualitas, mahasiswa merupakan komunitas yang berpendidikan dan menguasai IT, sehingga mudah dalam memberikan contoh atau sebagai suri tauladan secara luas ataupun di lingkungan tempat mereka berada. Tujuan pertama diadakannya pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai manfaat pohon bagi kesehatan dan kehidupan. Tujuan kedua adalah menumbuhkan sikap perilaku peduli lingkungan mendukung “sejuta pohon” dalam memelihara dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan hidup. Target luaran yang dihasilkan dari pelatihan ini adalah menumbuhkan kesadaran dan perilaku peduli lingkungan pada peserta pelatihan. Metode Pelatihan melalui pemberian materi berupa pengetahuan manfaat pohon bagi kehidupan secara out door learning. Outdoor learning sebagai metode pemberian pengalaman langsung di lokasi seluas 300 hektar yang dipenuhi tanaman dan pohon sebanyak kurang lebih 17.963 tanaman. Hasil yang dicapai adalah tumbuhnya sikap peduli lingkungan pada seluruh peserta pelatihan. Kata Kunci: Melastarikan lingkungan, sejuta pohon, outdoor learning AbstractThe main reasons for this training for students college are; They are the successors of the nation as well as the young generation who are very empowered in maintaining the continuity of Environmental Conservation. Based on the age factor, students college have a long and wide opportunity to spread knowledge, pass on information, and invite the community and audience to environmental preservation. Based on their intellect, students are an educated and IT-savvy community, so it is easy to set an example or serve as a role model widely or in the environment where they live. The first objective of holding this training is to provide knowledge about the benefits of trees for health and life. The second goal is to foster an attitude of caring behavior towards the environment to support "a million trees" in maintaining and preserving the environment. The output target resulting from this training is to foster environmental awareness and behavior in the trainees. The training method is through the provision of material in the form of knowledge of the benefits of trees for life through out door learning. Outdoor learning as a method of providing hands-on experience in a location of 300 hectares which is filled with plants and trees totaling approximately 17,963 plants. Abstract

In recent years, many government initiatives in the field of education have been directed at developing curriculum and learning systems that emphasize students' scientific literacy skills. This community partnership program (PKM) aims to improve biology teachers' understanding of scientific literacy competencies and how to design science literacy-oriented learning. We selected a group of ten high school biology teachers (five groups) as the target subjects of the PKM program. PKM activities are designed for six months (May to November 2022), with a variety of topics and activities, including individual and group assignments, discussions, and presentations, both online (Zoom) and face-to-face. During PKM activities, biology teachers have the opportunity to explore the conceptual framework of several models or learning approaches that are science literacy-oriented. Groups of biology teachers also practice designing learning stages for each of the models or approaches that have been chosen. The learning models or approaches chosen by teachers during PKM activities vary, including project-based learning, STEM education, science process skills approaches, differentiated learning, and social-scientific issues-oriented learning. The resulting learning design shows that the PKM program helps teachers improve their knowledge of science literacy-oriented biology learning.
