Abstract

Human Resources are an important asset for a company, therefore companies must pay attention to the employee recruitment and selection process. The aim of this research is to analyze the recruitment and selection process for ship crew as well as the obstacles faced in the recruitment process at PT Ponti Sarana Utama. This research used a qualitative method conducted by interviews with the crewing/personnel division and ship crew. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. This research shows that the recruitment system used only uses internal sources and closed methods. The selection process begins with checking documents, interviews, medical tests, then making a sea work agreement. The implementation of ship crew recruitment at PT Ponti Sarana Utama contained several obstacles which resulted in delays in ship crew recruitment. Some of the problems that occur are document discrepancies, crew certificates that have expired and are close to expiring before the contract period ends. Because the company carries out the recruitment process using internal sources, it can cause difficulties in finding the right candidates to fill the positions needed in the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how short training in skills like cosmetology may considerably help women launch their own enterprises. According to recent data from the Indonesian Businesswomen's Association (IWAPI), women significantly boost the economy of the nation through their entrepreneurial endeavors. The results of this study are anticipated to offer light on the likelihood that skill development might spark enthusiasm in establishing a business. Path analysis using SPSS was used to assess the direct impact of skill development on entrepreneurial interest as well as the indirect impact of skill development on entrepreneurial interest through entrepreneurial self-motivation. The results show that the direct impact of skill development is more closely connected with entrepreneurial self-motivation than the indirect impact of skill development on entrepreneurial interest. The findings demonstrated that both entrepreneurial self-motivation and concurrent skills training on entrepreneurial interest did not substantially affect the skills training variable. In reality, developing makeup skills takes just a short time while maintaining regular routines.

Abstract

Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 36 of 2009 concerning Health, Article 17 paragraph 1 states that the government is responsible for the availability of access to information, education, and health service facilities to improve and maintain the highest possible degree of health. In addition, Article 168 states that to carry out effective and efficient health efforts, health information is needed, which is carried out through information systems and through cross-sector cooperation, with further provisions even regulated by Government Regulations. Meanwhile, Article 169 states that the government provides convenience to the public to gain access to health information in an effort to improve the degree of public health. Community-Based Total Sanitation (STBM) is an approach to change hygienic and sanitary behavior through community empowerment by triggering. The implementation of STBM aims to realize hygienic and sanitary community behavior independently in order to improve the highest degree of public health (Permenkes RI No. 3 of 2014). In this research method, researchers use a type of descriptive research with qualitative analysis because it is considered more appropriate in describing various phenomena, facts, and existing data in order to be more detailed about the implementation process, implementors / officials involved, target group responses and provide an accurate picture of the various obstacles faced. The results of the study explained that villages that implement STBM, within the scope of villages in Bengkayng District, STBM is still very low, this is due to the lack of frequency of triggering carried out by puskesmas and health offices, limited funds and low community response. The lack of success of the STBM program from the triggering process to post-triggering is because the community is difficult to collect so that the monitoring and monitoring process is hampered. Abstract

One form of implementation of the Pancasila student profile is students who always practice Pancasila values such as devotion to God Almighty by carrying out worship according to their religion. Teachers as the spearhead of implementing learning have a big role in guiding and focusing students. The mentoring process carried out by teachers is not only related to intellectuality but also strengthening personality learning, one of the things that is in the spotlight in the world of learning and especially for teachers is improving students' morals and morals. In learning, teachers also have an important role in shaping students' personalities at school. Teachers are reliable educators who have the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, focusing, training, calculating and evaluating students. The level of understanding of teachers in realizing the Pancasila student profile must be increased because of the 6 indicators of implementing the Pancasila student profile, not all of them have been fully implemented by teachers. The first indicator, namely Faith, Devotion to God Almighty and having noble morals, was achieved by 95%, Global Diversity by 73%, mutual cooperation by 90%, creativity by 91%, critical reasoning by 71%, and independence by 58%. The inhibiting factor in implementing the Pancasila profile which is integrated with the module is that many teachers have not participated in intensive Merdeka curriculum training so that understanding in integrating the six elements of the Pancasila student profile into learning tools has not been fully implemented.

Abstract

The development of a tourist village in Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency has a significant impact on the social resilience of the local community. This development process not only increases economic potential, but also strengthens social interactions between residents and tourists. First of all, the tourism sector is a new source of income for the community, creating jobs and increasing economic prosperity. This can reduce poverty levels and increase population access to education and health services. Apart from that, the existence of tourist villages creates opportunities for local communities to market their traditional products, increasing added value and sustainability of the local economy. The development of tourist villages also strengthens the social networks of local communities. Interaction between residents and tourists results in an exchange of culture, values and experiences. It enriches people's social lives by introducing them to diverse perspectives and traditions. In this way, tourist villages create an inclusive environment that promotes tolerance and mutual understanding between cultures. The active involvement of residents in welcoming and serving tourists also builds a sense of shared responsibility for the development of the destination. However, it should be remembered that developing tourist villages can also pose challenges, such as the possibility of rapid social change and potential conflicts between local and commercial interests. Therefore, it is important for the government and relevant stakeholders to manage the development of tourist villages wisely, ensuring the right balance between economic growth, cultural preservation and social justice so that the positive impacts can be felt in a sustainable manner by all local communities.

Abstract

Mathematics and culture are something that cannot be avoided in everyday life. Mathematics and culture are interrelated because mathematics is knowledge humans use to solve everyday problems. In contrast, culture is a complete and comprehensive unity that applies to society. However, sometimes mathematics is seen as outside of everyday life. Ethnomathematics is a mathematical concept that exists in a culture. The presence of mathematics with cultural nuances will make a significant contribution to mathematics learning. One of the ethnomathematics objects in Balinese Hindu culture is the Otonan. Otonan is a birth ceremony carried out by the Balinese people, based on Panca Wara, Sapta Wara, and Wuku in the Balinese calendar system. In determining Otonan, the least common multiple of the numbers 5, 7, 30 and repeated (cycles) are calculated so that the count for the Otonan ceremony is held every 210 days. Meanwhile, in determining Panca Wara, Sapta Wara and Wuku in Otonan, modulo (mod) numbers are used, namely modulo 5, modulo 7 and modulo 30. Ethnomathematics is very important; apart from being a learning material for students, it also functions as a means of cultural preservation.

Abstract

Higher education plays a crucial role in fostering young entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The HIEs program has made entrepreneurship its flagship profile to transform the job-seeking culture into a job-creating culture. However, the unemployment rate of graduates continues to rise. Therefore, this study aims to find a solution through the Marketing Entrepreneurial Capability (MECA) model rooted in the Resource-Advantage (R-A) theory. A survey was conducted among 241 entrepreneurial students in Central Java using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Structural equation modeling techniques were employed to test the reliability and validity of the model. The study's results are expected to contribute to addressing the issue of graduate unemployment by enhancing students' entrepreneurial skills. This research presents a policy model that could serve as a foundation for research and policy-making in higher education in Central Java. The model aims to enhance the connection between the role of higher education and the development of young entrepreneurs (start-ups) by emphasizing Marketing Entrepreneurial Capability (MECA) as a crucial factor.
