Abstract

This research discusses the transformation of education in Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030, a strategic initiative to reduce the country's dependence on oil, diversify the economy, and develop the social sector, including education. This transformation includes curriculum reforms, education system modernization, teacher quality improvement, and technology adoption to support learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with relevant literature and policy analysis to understand the steps taken by the Saudi government in creating an inclusive and market-oriented education system. The research findings indicate that educational reforms are key to building competitive human resources, promoting innovation, and strengthening national identity by moderate Islamic principles. However, challenges such as cultural resistance, gender disparities, and the need for adequate infrastructure continue to be obstacles to achieving the goals of Vision 2030. This study concludes that the success of educational transformation requires collaboration between the government, private sector, and society to ensure the sustainability and relevance of reforms in supporting Saudi Arabia's long-term development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by the public relations team at MTsN 1 Paser in improving student achievement, both in academic and non-academic fields. In the era of globalization and advances in information technology, effective communication is one of the key factors in supporting the achievement of an educational institution. The research approach used was qualitative with a case study method, which involved in-depth interviews with members of the public relations team, school principals, as well as students and parents as key informants. The collected data was then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify communication patterns and strategies used by the public relations team. The research results show that the public relations strategy implemented by MTsN 1 Paser includes strengthening internal communication through regular meetings with stakeholders, effective social media management, and involving parents in various school activities. Through these strategies, students' academic and non-academic achievements have increased significantly, although there are still several challenges related to limited budgets and human resources. It is hoped that this research can provide insight for education managers in optimizing the role of public relations as part of efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia

Abstract

The rapid development of technology should make students' learning outcomes increase, but in reality, what happens at SMA Negeri 01 Kunir - Lumajang is that students' learning outcomes are low or tend to be unstable. This is apparently caused by the unbalanced number of educators with classes that must be taught. As a result, educators are overwhelmed, and the learning process is boring due to the lack of preparation of educators in using learning models and media. From the description above, the researcher intends to conduct a study using interactive-based Wordwall learning media with the help of Talking Stick to find out whether there is an effect of interactive Wordwall media assisted by Talking Stick on improving student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 01 Kunir - Lumajang. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The technique used to determine the research sample is the Random Sampling technique. Before applying Wordwall interactive media assisted by Talking Stick to the experimental class, the control class and experimental class were both given a pretest to determine the initial ability of the two samples. And it turns out that the results of the two classes are both normally distributed and homogeneous variants. After the application of interactive media Wordwall with Talking Stick, followed by giving the final question (posttest) in the control and experimental classes to determine the results of the application. The result is an increase in the learning value of students in the experimental class. Calculation of values using SPSS shows a very significant difference, learning outcomes with a value of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 1.000> 0.05, meaning that the experimental class scores tend to be higher than the control class. So it can be concluded that the use of interactive media Wordwall assisted by Talking Stick has an influence on improving student learning outcomes, especially in class XI students of SMA Negeri 01 Kunir - Lumajang with the material of tolerance and maintaining human life.

Abstract

This article discusses the strategies implemented by the principal to improve student discipline at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid (MANJ), Probolinggo Regency, East Java Province. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores various strategies based on the leadership principles of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, personal approach, socialization of rules, appreciation for disciplined students, and parental involvement. The research findings indicate that these strategies, such as attendance before learning, monitoring student attendance, and consistent application of sanctions, have succeeded in creating a strong and sustainable culture of discipline in schools. However, challenges that arise related to parental intervention require a more proactive approach, such as through open communication and discussion forums. Although there is no quantitative data to support the claim of a decrease in student violations, this provides a positive indication of the effectiveness of the strategies implemented. Therefore, ongoing efforts to improve student discipline need to be carried out through periodic evaluation and adjustment of strategies according to future needs, in order to create an educational environment that is disciplined, productive, and supports the holistic development of students.

Abstract

Abstract:Community-based education begins with a critical educational perspective that wants to challenge the government's hegemony in the field of education through the democratization of education. This study aims to examine the concept of community-based education that is applied in Indonesia. This study is library research with analysis through a survey of relevant literature data, both in the form of reference books, previous research results, articles, notes, and journals. The results of the study indicate that community-based education in Indonesia has been implemented through various programs developed in the education process in the form of formal and non-formal education rights according to religious characteristics and social and cultural environments. However, there are several obstacles to its implementation in Indonesia, including 1) the relatively high level of community dependence on the government, 2) the weak economy of the community, and 3) school-based education still being dominant. Some supporting factors include: 1) many community-based institutions have succeeded in implementing this model independently, 2) the culture of the Indonesian people who are predominantly Muslim, and 3) the spirit of cooperation. Keywords:
